Summary

Every fairytale has a 'One Upon A Time' at the beginning of every story. This story has been told many times and many different ways. This was Cinderella. Cinderella wasn't just any girl, she was special. Because of her hardships of growing up to deceased parents, she disciplined herself to become the best person she can be. She did everything her step family told her to do and obey orders from them.

This tells the story of a girl name Kim Dahyun. She is beautiful, happy, hardworking, smart, and is a dreamer. She has a passion for music. She loves to write, produce, and rap to music. Because she has a passion for music, it lead her to love dance as well.

At 7 years old, she lost her mother (Shin Mina) from a bus accident when coming home from her work. From that point on, it got harder for Dahyun and her father (Kim Dongjae) to live. But they managed to stay close by each other for years.

Luckily for Dahyun, she grew up knowing a thing or two about her father's hotel. With Dahyun's knowledge, she helped out with the hotel and gave in a lot of ideas. This hotel that her father owned is called Grand Hilton Hotel (AKA Dream Hilton Hotel, 1997). Dahyun also learned how to cook and clean around the house on her own while her father goes to work all the time.

Two years later, Kim Dongjae got remarried to a women (Kwon Miyoung) who has 2 daughters of her own (Kwon Jiya and Kwon Sooya) that he met while working at the hotel.

At the age of 10, Dahyun lost her father in a car accident while he was heading to work that morning. Now that her father is gone, his wealth is gone and everything that was close to her is gone too. Miyoung had taken everything from him under her name including her father's precious hotel. Dahyun became a servant to her step family who they dont even see her as her family but a person who works for them. She lives in the basement and became a housemaid for the family.

7 Years later, Dahyun became the best person as she can be. She works at the hotel as one of the housekeepers which once was her father's. She had gone through working different jobs her entire life to pay for her school tuition. Miyoung didn't want Dahyun to go that what she calls 'a trashy' school so she transfers Dahyun to an all elite school (Seoul Academy of The Arts - SATA) where her 2 daughters go to. Elite schools meant that you had to wear a uniform, live in the dorms, and pick classes based on your academic scores. Also a place where rich kids run the school. Nerds get bullied by those who are on top of them. Dahyun was against the idea of transferring because of the different types of kids in Elite Schools. She was forced to go somewhere she didn't like. From there, Dahyun become the biggest school threat because of her high standard grades.

Will she face her fears of going to an all Elite School ? Does anything change from that moment forward ? Will her passion and dream turn into a reality ?

Him and IKON are known as one of the threats at school. He meets Dahyun on her first day and soon becomes friends with her through their interest in music. He starts to like Dahyun too.

Hirai Momo

19 years old / Year 4 @ SATA / Singer - Vocals & Dancer ("Beauties"). She is fierce, mean, and a great dancer. She is a trainee in JYP Entertainment. She is from Japan.

Im Nayeon

20 years old / Freshmen @ SATA / Singer - Vocals. She is a trainee at JYP Entertainment. She, Sana, Mina, and Tzuyu becomes Dahyun friends at school. Nayeon loves to sing and covers to songs she likes.

Jooin

24 years old / Grand Hilton Hotel Housekeeper. She works alongside Dahyun and Yoonmae since the very first day Dahyun started working there at the hotel. The three is like a family together. Dahyun calls Jooin 'Unnie'. Besides working at the hotel, she is talented in singing.

Kim Dahyun

17 years old / Year 2 @ SATA / Musician & Dancer [MAIN] She is a beautiful, happy, hardworking, and smart person. She has a passion for writing song lyrics and producing music. She also likes to come up with her own dance choreography for a new song. She gets transfers to SATA by her stepmother and has to go to the same school as her stepsisters too.

Kwon Jiya

20 years old / Year 4 @ SATA. She is Miyoung's oldest daughter. Jiya is talented in singing and has taken lessons ever since she was young. She goes to SATA to improve her skills. She is looking forward to signing with one of the top three entertainment companies in Korea.

Kwon Miyoung

43 years old / Richest Hotel Manager. She is Dahyun's stepmother. She is rich, selfish, evil, and fancy. She eats at high end restaurants, maids, butlers, housekeepers, drivers, and more. Miyoung is so mean towards Dahyun and makes decisions for Dahyun. She now manages the Grand Hilton Hotel (AKA Dream Hilton Hotel, 1997) after her late husband had died.

Kwon Sooya

17 years old / Year 2 @ SATA. She is Miyoung's youngest daughter. Sooya has passion in rapping and writing song lyrics. She always has to be one step in front of Dahyun all the time. She is currently training in SM Entertainment, she was there for a year already.

Lee Hyunwoo

19 years old / Year 4 @ SATA. He is smart and cool. He is consider the book smart kid at school. All he does is study on school work and nothing else. He has no life outside of studying. Because of his grades are so high up there, he got accepted into SATA. His interests are music. Hyunwoo becomes close to Dahyun through a class project and discovers feelings for her. His father is Lee Joohyun.

Lee Joohyun

44 years old / Grand Hilton Hotel Main Assistant. He used to work alongside Dahyun’s father as his assistant, but not anymore since Dongjae is gone. He is now Miyoung’s partner in the hotel industry. He is very friendly, hardworking, and looks after Dahyun when she was growing up. Joohyun taught Dahyun the basics of running a hotel when she was growing up. Dahyun calls Joohyun as her uncle. He is Hyunwoo’s father.
