[1PM] The bell rang. Dahyun and Hyunwoo headed to their next class. Dahyun went to her dance class which was hip hop. She walked into the gym building into the lockers and changed into her tracksuit. After changing into her clothes, she went out to the gymnasium where everyone was. Mr. Jay Park came to the class holding his clipboard and started roll call while the students started stretching. When it came to Dahyun's name, he introduced all of the students to the class.

Mr. Jay Park (*says to the class) : we have a new transfer.
Mr. Jay Park : she will be joining us this year.
Mr. Jay Park : please welcome Miss Kim Dahyun.
Dahyun (*politely bows & says) : hello, i'm Kim Dahyun. please take care of me.

For the half hour, Mr. Jay Park taught the class some new dance moves that were useful for what he was about to talk about next. For the remaining hour, Mr. Jay Park began to talk about the final project and talent show.

Mr. Jay Park : So the staff at school has came to a decision on all of your final exams Mr. Mr. Jay Park : this year.
Mr. Jay Park : we are not going take an exam.

Everyone cheers in happiness and Mr. Jay Park stops them to continue on saying…

Mr. Jay Park : now now, don't get too excited. the final is still going on.
Mr. Jay Park : this year we are going to have final projects instead.
Mr. Jay Park : with that said, you will create a full song routine.
Mr. Jay Park : this year's dance theme is Dubstep music.
Mr. Jay Park says as he passing out the rubric to everyone individually around the room. The students followed along while passing back the papers to the others behind them.
Mr. Jay Park : this is for your class grade only.
Mr. Jay Park : if you pass this class,
Mr. Jay Park : it shows that you have learned the material in my class.
Mr. Jay Park : i will be assigning you to your partners now.

Mr. Jay Park : and lastly. Sana, Tzuyu, and Momo.
Mr. Jay Park : i might add on more members to your partners. i will let you all know.
Mr. Jay Park : so just be prepared in the meantime.
Mr. Jay Park : one more thing. as you know, there is a talent show every year.
Mr. Jay Park : this year's talent show is different so i wish you all luck.
Mr. Jay Park : introduce yourselves to your partners and lets get this project going.
Mr. Jay Park : class dismissed.

All of the students went to the locker rooms to change back into their school uniform and went to their next class. Dahyun went to her Music Making/ Producing class and took a seat in the back of the room. Mr. Teddy Park walked into the class with his instruments and set up the class. Then he made an announcement to all of the students there.

Mr. Teddy Park : i see that we have a new transfer today, Kim Dahyun.
Mr. Teddy Park (*says out loud to Dahyun) : welcome.
Mr. Teddy Park : i'm Mr. Teddy Park, your music teacher.
Mr. Teddy Park : i will be teaching you everything you need to know about music making.
Mr. Teddy Park (*asks Dahyun) : have you made music before Dahyun ?
Dahyun : yes i have.
Mr. Teddy Park : then you shouldn't have a problem with using the equipment.
Dahyun : yes.
Mr. Teddy Park (*asks) : can you show everyone up here your work ?
Dahyun : yes sir.

Dahyun stood up and walked to the front of the class. She wore the headphones on her ears and began to create a beat of her choice on the program. Everyone in the class were bobbing their heads to the mix and were amazed at what she could do. She stood up there for about 2 minutes and finished. She waited for Mr. Teddy Park to give her some feedback.

Mr. Teddy Park (*says to Dahyun) : excellent work. you can go back to your seat.
Dahyun : yes.

Dahyun went back to her seat and sat back down. Mr. Teddy Park began the lecture for the next 15 minutes or so and the students followed along in the book. Then he asked everyone to take out their Ipads and began to practice mixing music on there. Dahyun took out her IPAD from her backpack and followed along with everyone.

For the next 10 minutes of class, Mr. Teddy Park told all of the students about the final project and talent show. He starts passing out the rubric to the final project to everyone and they passed it back to the rows. Mr. Teddy Park spoke about it and the students followed along.

Mr. Teddy Park : we are going to talk about your final projects now.
Mr. Teddy Park : the final project is based on your grade for this class.
Mr. Teddy Park : It's either you get an A, B, C, or F.
Mr. Teddy Park : an F automatically means you didn't show up on the day of the final.
Mr. Teddy Park : you will be put into a group of people you haven't worked with before.
Mr. Teddy Park : from there, you all are going to create, write, and produce a song.
Mr. Teddy Park : and you are to perform it to me in front of the class on the day of the final.
Mr. Teddy Park : the rules are listed below on the sheet if you look at it.
Mr. Teddy Park : you MUST produce your own group songs and include everyone in it.
Mr. Teddy Park : rappers and singers.
Mr. Teddy Park (*asks) : where can i produce the song ?
Mr. Teddy Park : any record company listed on the list ONLY.
Mr. Teddy Park : like JYPE, YGE, SME, AOMG, BIGHIT, Jellyfish, or Woolim.
Mr. Teddy Park : in order to use one of those companies,
Mr. Teddy Park : you must ask for permission to use.
Mr. Teddy Park : there is a form that i have attached to the back of the rubric.
Mr. Teddy Park : you must fill it out and submit to the company as soon as possible.
Mr. Teddy Park : now we are going to talk about the end of the year talent show.

Mr. Teddy Park began to pass out the rubric for the talent show. The students followed along while passing back the papers to the others.

Mr. Teddy Park : just like the final project,
Mr. Teddy Park : you need to work twice as hard for this one as well.
Mr. Teddy Park : please look at the participation area.
Mr. Teddy Park : ALL Vocals, Rappers, and Dancers must participate in this talent show.
Mr. Teddy Park : we want to see if you are capable of performing what you learned in class.

Mr. Teddy Park : this will determine if you are going to sign with an entertainment or
Mr. Teddy Park : go to a college of your choice under a music major.

Mr. Teddy Park : you have to go into a one year training for that entertainment company.

Mr. Teddy Park : you must create one unique song using the things we learned in class.
Mr. Teddy Park : there are two parts to your talent performance.
Mr. Teddy Park : one, you are to perform with your group assigned in class.
Mr. Teddy Park : for the group portion, you are going to be assign with a challenge.
Mr. Teddy Park : two, you must perform alone with the song you produced by yourself.
Mr. Teddy Park : all of this is performing in front of a live audience.
Mr. Teddy Park : you must follow the same rules for the usage of the companies.

Mr. Teddy Park : i am going to tell you who your group members are for the projects.
Mr. Teddy Park : but first, i have to go get the vocalists from the other room.

For the next 3 minutes, Mr. Teddy Park had left the room to the vocalists homeroom to get the selected ones. All of them were walking down the hallway in a formed line following behind Mr. Teddy Park. Then he came back into the room with everyone lined up at the front.

Mr. Teddy Park : I’m going to say this again.
Mr. Teddy Park : everyone has to participate in writing and producing the song.
Mr. Teddy Park : both for the final project and talent show.
Mr. Teddy Park : i will know who took part or not so please be aware of that.
Mr. Teddy Park : we will judge based on skill and the quality of the performance.
