Everyone started to look at Dahyun like what was wrong. Dahyun stood up from her seat and took a walk all the way to the front office. She was so nervous to what was going to happen to her and how she would have to explain it to her stepmother. She walked inside of Principal Shins office to see her waiting for Dahyun there. Dahyun took a seat in front and Principal Shin began to speak.

Principal Shin : Jenny had reported to me about your dorm room problem.
Dahyun (*asks) : did she?
Principal Shin : yes.
Principal Shin : I'm giving you a chance to explain yourself before I make my final decision.
Dahyun (*asks) : why does it matter now?
Dahyun : either way, you are going to suspend me.
Principal Shin : that is true but I want to hear your reasoning.
Dahyun : it happened when I was in the hospital for 2 days.
Dahyun : i think i know who is behind this.
Principal Shin (*asks) : who do you think it is ?
Dahyun : Jiya and Sooya.
Principal Shin (*asks) : your stepsisters ?
Dahyun : yes.
Principal Shin (*asks) : and you know all of this how ?
Dahyun : see, you wouldn’t believe me.
Principal Shin : i’m going to suspend you until we finish this investigation.
Principal Shin : in the meantime, you are not allowed to step on campus.
Principal Shin : if you have a project to work on with your group members,
Principal Shin : then you must do so.
Principal Shin : you can only meet them outside of school.
Principal Shin : i will call you back to school once everything is done.
Principal Shin (*asks) : do you understand ?
Dahyun : yes. i wanted to ask you a question regarding my mom.
Principal Shin (*asks) : what about your mom ?
Dahyun (*asks) : do you happen to know my mom, Shin Mina ?
Principal Shin (*pretends she doesn’t know & says) : i don’t know what your talking about.
Dahyun : from your looks, you know who i’m talking about.
Dahyun : you do know my mom. you are her sister.
Principal Shin (*asks) : how did you know that ? did she tell you ?
Dahyun : she told me when i was in a coma for 2 days in the hospital.
Principal Shin (*asks) : what did she say to you ?
Dahyun : my mom said that if i ask you about her then you would tell me information.
Dahyun : tell me something i need to know.
Dahyun (*asks) : what do you know ?
Principal Shin : i don’t know anything about your mom because i haven’t seen her in years.
Principal Shin : ever since she had gotten married to that hotel guy, we stopped talking.
Principal Shin (*asks) : how is she now ?
Dahyun : she passed away 10 years ago in a car accident coming home from work.
Principal Shin (*asks) : what about your father ?
Dahyun : he passed away 3 years after that in a car accident as well.
Principal Shin : that explains why you don’t call Kwon Miyoung your mother.
Principal Shin : so she married your father after your mother died.
Dahyun : yes.
Principal Shin (*asks) : so you have been living with your stepmother since then ?
Dahyun : yes and my two stepsisters.
Principal Shin : im so sorry for your loss. it must’ve been painful for you.
Dahyun : i don’t want to force you to acknowledge this position as my Aunt.
Dahyun : i better go and leave it to you.
Principal Shin : pack up your suitcase and i’ll call you back once i find something.
Dahyun : yes, i understand.

Dahyun stood up, politely bowed, and walked out of the office. Everyone was looking at Dahyun as she walked back to her dorm room. She packed up her suitcase and changed out of her uniform. She wore a loose white t-shirt that says Paris 1968 on it, black skinny jeans, black and white converse, black leather backpack with books in it. Dahyun stood at the front entrance of the campus and everyone was looking out in the window at Dahyun. They couldn’t believe that Dahyun was getting suspended. Then Dahyun walked to a nearby bus stop to take the next bus to her father’s hotel to stay in the meantime. As she arrived at the hotel, she went towards the reception desk and asked for a room.

Reception Desk Lady (*asks) : what can i help you with Miss Kim Dahyun ?
Dahyun (*smiles & asks) : how did you know my name ?
Reception Desk Lady : your father was the CEO of this hotel.
Reception Desk Lady : you used to come here when you were little.
Reception Desk Lady : you were so cute and still cute till now.
Dahyun (*smiles & says) : thank you. i would like a room please, a comfortable one.
Reception Desk Lady (*asks) : would you like our complementary suite ?
Reception Desk Lady (*asks) : or one of our regular rooms ?
Dahyun : complementary suite, please.
Reception Desk Lady (*asks) : how long are you going to be staying here with us ?
Dahyun : a week or two.
Reception Desk Lady : alright.
Dahyun (*asks) : how much does it cost ?
Reception Desk Lady : since your father was the CEO and a sincere man,
Reception Desk Lady : we wouldn’t charge you.
Dahyun (*asks) : really ? what about my stepmother Miyoung ?
Reception Desk Lady : we will make sure she wouldn’t know.
Dahyun : thank you so much.
Reception Desk Lady (*hands Dahyun the room key & says) : your room key.
Dahyun (*accepts the room key & says) : thanks.
Reception Desk Lady : enjoy your stay.

Dahyun took her suitcase and room key up to her room. She got comfortable in her room and walked to the balcony to look in the outside. She thought about all the possibilities on how her life is turning out right now. She stood there for hours thinking about what she had done or what others had done to her. Then she came to a conclusion that Jiya and Sooya had something to do with the whole situation.
