[12PM] It was Lunch Break time and all of the students were headed to the cafeteria to eat together with their friends. Dahyun walked there from the homeroom and saw so many students there eating with their friends. She didn’t want anyone to see her or make fun of her because she was new. So Dahyun just sat outside on the bench that had flowers surrounding the field. It had beautiful sunflowers and dandelions. Hyunwoo was standing on the other side of where Dahyun was and saw her sitting there in happiness. He walked towards Dahyun with two onigiri. He takes a seat next to her and puts the onigiri in front of Dahyun where she looks up at him.

Hyunwoo (*says as still holding the onigiri) : take it, here.
Dahyun (*takes the onigiri from Hyunwoo’s hand & says) : thank you.

Hyunwoo sits next to Dahyun and they started eating together in silence. Dahyun remembered where Hyunwoo was from and told him while eating the onigiri.

Dahyun : you know, i remember where your from now.
Hyunwoo (*asks) : and where will that be ?
Dahyun : you work at the electronic store on campus.
Hyunwoo : keep your voice down. others dont need to know about my occupation.
Dahyun (*asks) : why are you so ashame of it ?
Hyunwoo : no one should know anything.
Dahyun : okay.
Hyunwoo : i was impressed with your speech today in class.
Dahyun (*says & asks) : thanks but really ??
Hyunwoo : yeah. i can relate to you really well.
Dahyun (*asks) : how so ?
Hyunwoo : i lost my mother when i was younger.
Dahyun (*asks) : if you dont mind me asking but what happened ?
Hyunwoo : she had cancer.
Hyunwoo : the good part was that she spent every moment that she could with us.
Dahyun : i’m really sorry to hear that.
Hyunwoo : i thought all of this time that losing a parent was hard but you lost two.
Hyunwoo : that must’ve been so painful for you.
Dahyun : it was.
Hyunwoo (*asks) : how did you overcome that pain ?
Dahyun : once i found my love for music, i let that pain fade away.
Dahyun : i stopped thinking about and said that my parents are in a better place.
Dahyun : their looking out for me from where they are right now.
Hyunwoo (*asks) : and your step mother and sisters didnt give you a hard time ?
Dahyun : i shouldnt say.
Hyunwoo : its okay if they did.
Dahyun : to be honest, they did give me a hard time.
Dahyun : they took everything from me.
Dahyun : my stepmother took the hotel that my father had owned.
Dahyun : that was something he cherished the most when i was growing up.
Dahyun : he owned that hotel because of me.
Dahyun : she made me into her slave and have me working at the hotel.
Dahyun : i feel that when your too loyal to someone,
Dahyun : they take advantage of you too well.
Hyunwoo : i wish i knew how that feels.
Dahyun : its okay if you dont.
Hyunwoo : you were right about your life being a fairytale.
Hyunwoo (*asks) : who are those people that you them your family ?
Hyunwoo (*asks) : who would do this to you ?
Dahyun : i cant say much from today on out.
Hyunwoo (*asks) : and why ?
Dahyun : because i have to protect myself from the world and them. i’m sorry.
Hyunwoo : i’ll be by your side and help you overcome this.
Hyunwoo : you’ll definitely find your happiness, i promise.
Dahyun : i wish that was true.
Hyunwoo (*asks) : why don’t we go inside to eat lunch ?

Dahyun shakes her head and Hyunwoo looks at her asking her....

Hyunwoo (*asks) : why not ?

Dahyun stays silent and Hyunwoo looks at Dahyun.

Hyunwoo (*asks) : are you afraid of what people might say to you ?
Hyunwoo (*asks) : talk behind your back ?
Dahyun : i think you took all of the words out of my mouth.
Hyunwoo : there is nothing to be afraid of. i’m here with you. let’s go.

Hyunwoo and Dahyun walked together to the cafeteria. They got the trays, put food on the plates, and utensils too. Then they walked to find a seat. Everyone was looking at them but Hyunwoo ignored them. Dahyun could’ve sworn she felt a million eyes on her as she took a seat in front of Hyunwoo. They sat down and Hyunwoo began to eat his food. Dahyun just sat there looking around and remembered what Hyunwoo had said to her. She picked up her spoon and started eating. Hyunwoo looked up at Dahyun and told her.....

Hyunwoo : i told you it wasn’t so bad.
Dahyun : your right.
Dahyun (*asks quietly) : haven’t they seen a transfer before ?
Dahyun : they kept staring at me like crazy.
Hyunwoo : don’t worry. just continue eating.

A teacher came towards their table and asked for Hyunwoo. Hyunwoo excused himself from Dahyun and left for a while. Dahyun just sat there and some mean girls came over to mess with her. She knew trouble was coming at her.

Jungyeon (*says to her girls) : Yah....... look what we have here, the teacher's pet.
Dahyun (*looks up & says nicely) : i wasn't a teacher's pet.
Dahyun : i was just doing what i was told.
Momo (*says to Jungyeon) : woah, she's talking back to you Jungyeon.

Everyone in the cafeteria stopped what they were doing and crowded around the girls to see what was happening. The mean girls (‘Beauties’) Momo, Jihyo, and Chaeyoung grabbed Dahyun from her seat and pulled Dahyun outside to the yard. Jungyeon followed right behind them.

As soon as they got to the track and field, the ‘Beauties’ started to beat up Dahyun badly making her lose her balance falling onto the ground. She was laying there in pain and the ‘Beauties’ walked away after beating Dahyun up. Dahyun just sat there in pain. Nayeon, Sana, Mina, and Tzuyu all came running towards Dahyun to help her up.

The four sat there with Dahyun on the bleachers helping her cure her bloody bruises. They sat there talking and getting to know each other, instantly becoming friends with each other.

Nayeon (*says to Dahyun) : you should be careful of how you talk to those mean girls.
Dahyun : i didn’t say anything wrong to them.
Sana : but you talked back to them and they hate that the most.
Dahyun (*asks) : who are they anyways ?
Mina : they are called the “Beauties” at school.
Mina : Jungyeon is the leader, she is the one with really short hair.
Tzuyu : Momo is the blonde one, she can sing and dance really well.
Nayeon : Jihyo is the one with the long black hair, she is the well known for her vocals.
Sana : and lastly, Chaeyoung is the other short hair one. she’s a rapper.
Dahyun (*asks) : what does Jungyeon do ? Singer ? Rapper ?
Mina : she’s a singer.
Dahyun (*asks Nayeon, Sana, Mina, and Tzuyu) : and what do you guys do ?
Tzuyu : i’m Tzuyu. im studying to be a better vocalists but is enrolling in dance.
Nayeon : im Nayeon, a singer.
Sana : im Sana, i’m a singer and dancer.
Mina : and i’m Mina, a singer.
Dahyun : wow.
Tzuyu (*asks Dahyun) : so what are you ?
Dahyun : i like making music, dance, and rapping to lyrics i write.
Nayeon : wow, your talented. i wish i was that talented.
Sana (*asks Dahyun) : can we see your work ?
Dahyun : maybe one day, okay.
Mina (*asks) : why don’t you hang out with us ? it’ll be fun.
Dahyun (*asks) : you guys wouldn’t mind at all ?
Tzuyu : we wouldn’t mind.
Tzuyu : we’ll even show you around and tell you how to talk to those mean girls.
Dahyun : thanks guys.
Nayeon : it’s almost time to go back to class, lets go.

Nayeon, Sana, Mina, Tzuyu, and Dahyun all stood up from the bleachers walking towards the buildings. Hyunwoo was running around looking for Dahyun and to see if she was alright. He saw Dahyun walking with the four and came towards her.

Hyunwoo (*asks Dahyun) : are you alright Dahyun ?
Dahyun (*looks up, sees Hyunwoo, says) : i’m alright.
Dahyun : Nayeon, Sana, Mina, and Tzuyu helped me.
Hyunwoo (*turns to the four & says) : thanks.
Sana (*says to Hyunwoo) : your welcome.
Mina (*tells the others) : we better go back to class.
Tzuyu : let’s give Hyunwoo and Dahyun some time to talk to each other.
Nayeon (*says to Dahyun) : we’ll see you in class.
Dahyun : Okay.

Nayeon, Sana, Mina, and Tzuyu walked together back to class.

Dahyun started walking slowly down the hallway towards the vending machine to buy a drink. She didn’t speak to Hyunwoo one bit because she was kind of upset of the fact that he left her earlier and got beaten up. Dahyun trusted his words and expected him to be there for her like he said he would. Hyunwoo knew from the looks that Dahyun was upset with him. After getting their drinks, they walked outside to sit on the bench. Neither did the both of them talked so there was a huge silence between them. Then Hyunwoo spoke up..

Hyunwoo : i’m sorry Dahyun. i should’ve kept my word when i said i'd be with you.
Dahyun : you had a duty to do so you went on and did it. its okay, really.
Hyunwoo : you got hurt because of me. i didnt protect you.
Dahyun : not all people should or can protect me. i do it on my own and that's fine.
Dahyun : so don't worry Hyunwoo.
Hyunwoo : if you need anything, just look for me. okay ?
Dahyun (*smiles & says) : okay.
Dahyun : we have to get to class now.
