[9:00am]
Payton’s POV.
Even though i don't work on Sundays, i came in that morning because there were someone important coming into the company for a meeting. So i had to help set it up. When doing so, Jana calls me on my cell phone.
Payton answers her cell phone, “hello?”
“Hey Pay”, Jana says over the phone.
“Hey Jana. whats up?” Payton asks.
Jana says, “i need you and Caroline to meet me at the bridal shop next week for a dress fitting.”
Payton says & asks, “sure. What day?”
“Is Wednesday afternoon okay with you?” Jana asks.
“That’s fine with me”, Payton says.
Jana says, “thanks. I’ll see you there.”
Payton jokingly says, “and don't you dare dress me in pink Jana.”
“Of course i won’t”, Jana jokingly says & laughs.
“See you then”, Payton says & hanging up the phone.
Caroline’s POV.
I was still sleeping when my cell phone started ringing. I sat up and answered it.
Caroline answers her cell phone not fully awake, “hello?”
Jana says, “Caroline, its me Jana.”
“Do you have any idea what time it is?” Caroline asks in her sleepy tone.
“It’s 9am. You should be up by now.” Jana says over the phone.
Caroline says, “its my day off Jana.”
Jana says, “i need you to meet me at the bridal shop on Wednesday afternoon for a dress fitting.”
“Have you told Bailee?”, Caroline asks over the phone.
“I figured she's busy with her kids and husband today so i texted it to her already”, Jana says.
Caroline says, “alright. I’ll be there on Wednesday.”
Jana smiles & says over the phone, “thank you. See you then.”
[10:00am]
Shaun’s POV.
Me and Jana made it to the Kingdom hall and greeted everyone. I see Andrew sitting in the front while Skye sitting in the way back with Joyce and Jaelynn. It isn't normal for them to be separated with each other so i went to talk to Andrew to see what was up.
“Why aren't you sitting with Skye?” Shaun asks Andrew.
“We got into an argument last night when she came home from work”, Andrew says.
Shaun asks, “are you two going to be okay?”
Andrew says, “we should be fine.”
“Are you still going to propose to her tonight at the party?”, Shaun whispers.
“I am but i’m not sure how to get her to the party tonight because she has a double shift intern that starts after this”, Andrew says.
Shaun says, “i’ll try to tell Jana to convince Skye to get to the house tonight. Don’t worry about it.”
Andrew says, “alright. Thanks.”
[1:00pm]
Jana’s POV.
After the meeting, we went to service with Shaun. Once that was over, me and Shaun went out to lunch together at this nice restaurant we usually go to for special events. As we were eating, we got to talking and Shaun told me about what happened to Andrew and Skye last night.
“Andrew and Skye got into an argument last night and their both mad at each other since then”, Shaun says.
“Is that why they didn’t sit together this morning at the meeting?” Jana asks.
Shaun says, “yeah. After what Andrew told us last night at dinner, im not sure how we’re going to get Skye to the dinner party tonight at my mom's house.”
Jana asks, “Skye’s not coming tonight?”
“She has a double shift intern today. That’s why she left right after the meeting was over and skipping out on service.” Shaun says.
“I was going to pick up Sophia and Janey later after they get off of work since they were called in this evening”, Jana says.
Shaun says, “maybe you could talk Skye into going tonight.”
Jana says, “okay, i’ll convince her.”
“Thanks. It’ll mean a lot to Andrew if you bring her tonight.” Shaun says.
“Okay”, Jana smiles & says.
