A Party.
[6:30pm]
Janey’s POV.
I was in the conference room with new resident students, nurses, and doctors for a meeting about the patients. Sophia (nurse) and Skye (intern resident) were there too. After the meeting was over, Sophia and Skye stayed back to help me clean up the room. We see Jana walking into the room with the bags of dresses on her back. Jana was going to pick us up and get changed for the dinner party tonight.
Skye asks Jana, “What are you doing here?”
Jana smiles & says, “i'm here to pick you guys up for dinner.”
“What are those Jana?” Skye asks pointing out the bags on Jana’s back.
“These are our dresses that we are going to change into for dinner. I thought we look nice tonight.” Jana says.
Skye says, “i wish i could join you girls for dinner but i have to work at my second intern shift.”
Sophia begs Skye, “come on Skye. it’s been a long time since we all came together for dinner. We won't have time anymore after Jana is married.”
“As your work superior, i’m letting you take the rest of the evening off from work. We are all going out for dinner tonight, no questions ask.” Janey says nicely.
“Now, can we get dressed?” Jana asks.
Skye’s POV.
Me, Janey, and Sophia all clocked out from work. Jana waited outside for us outside in her car and we all went to her car to drive out. Jana drove us to the nearest salon and got ready. We did our hair, makeup, and dressed in our dresses. Sophia gotten ready and wore this beautiful gold dress. It had beautiful gold embroidery at the top and tan flowy at the bottom. She paired it with tan open toe heels, some gold jewelry, and a glitter clutch purse. Then it was Jana’s turn. She wore a pink see through lace dress, beige stiletto heels, and a beige purse. Once Jana was done getting ready, it was Janey’s turn. She wore this pinkish orange dress that has white lace at the top of the dress and gold strappy heels. Then Skye wore this light blue lace dress, beige heels, white purse and watch.
Once we were all done getting ready at the salon, we paid and Jana drove us to this mansion house that looks like Miyoung’s mansion house that i've seen before. We parked and got out of the car standing in front of the house. I didn't want to be there because Andrew was going to be there and i'm still mad at him.
Skye says turning around trying to run away, “i don't want to be here.”
Janey, Jana, Sophia put out their arm to stop me from running away and turned me back around to look at the house.
Skye says, “i’m still mad at Andrew for last night. And you guys lied to me saying that we were going to a restaurant for dinner tonight.”
“We’re sorry Skye but Miyoung had invited everyone and it wasn't right if we didn't go tonight”, Sophia says nicely.
“I’m not going in guys. I have nothing to say to Andrew.” Skye says.
Janey says, “but he has something to say to you.”
Jana says, “As your Unni’s, we want you to be happy and be with someone who love you.”
“Fine, i’ll go in.” Skye sighs & says.
“We might as well. I mean, we’re already dressed so nicely.” Janey says.
Skye’s POV.
Me, Sophia, Janey, and Jana all walked into the mansion house to see everyone dressed so nicely and talking to each other. We went to get a drink and then walked over to the living room to talk to people. Then Miyoung makes an announcement.
Miyoung says with a glass of wine in her hand, “i just wanted to thank everyone for coming tonight and dressing up so nicely. I also want to mention that tonight we are celebrating two things, Shaun and Jana’s pre-wedding and one more thing.”
Everyone stood there in confusion and I really didn't know what was going on so i followed along with everyone. Andrew came out from the room smiling and walking towards me in his nice blue suit. At this point, i’m full of surprises and didn’t what to do so i played along. He comes towards me and holds my hands to say in front of everyone.
Andrew says holding onto Skye’s hand, “Skye. i don't want us to fight anymore. I promise to give your job more value and look after you instead of going against you. I just can't imagine myself with anyone else besides you.”
“Would you do me the honors of marrying me Skye?” Andrew asks as he kneels on one knee with a ring.
“And i promise you to not get mad or fight with you anymore so yes, i’ll marry you.” Skye smiles & says.
As i smiled, Andrew put the ring on my ringer and we kissed together. Everyone applauded and were so happy for us. Then they came to congratulate us happily. We were all so happy and celebrated the entire night together in our nice suits and dresses. We had a great time with everyone that night.
