A Break.
[7:00pm]
Jana’s POV.
We were done painting the academy at 7pm and headed on over for dinner. Me and Shaun wanted to take everyone out for dinner since they worked so hard to help us paint the academy. Skye had to finish her intern hours at the hospital so she did not join us for dinner. Alex and Sophia had dinner plans with their parents so they didn’t go with us. Lucas had to work the night shift for a friend at the company so he also didn't go eat dinner with us. And John had to go home to his son so he didn't come too. So it was me, Shaun, Ben, Ryan, Joyce, Joon, Jaelynn, Eugene, Andrew, and Janey who joined us for dinner. The ten of us decided to eat Korean BBQ so we met at our favorite restaurant nearby.
Andrew’s POV.
We sat there eating Korean BBQ and i thought i was the right time to tell everyone about my future plans with Skye and what i look forward to. I just hope they’d be happy for my decision with Skye.
“There is something i want to do guys”, Andrew speaks up while sitting there looking at everyone.
“What is it Hyung?” Eugene asks for everyone to know.
Andrew says, “seeing everyone being happy and getting married makes me want to get married too. So i’m going to ask Skye to marry me.”
Jaelynn says, “but she’s still in school.”
“She’s going to be finished in 2 years so i think this will be a great time to get married”, Andrew says.
“You’ve thought this through?” Ben asks Andrew.
Andrew nods his head & says, “i have. Everyone is so happy being married and with the people they love. I want to start a family of my own and have kids someday with Skye.”
Ryan asks, “so when are you going to ask her?”
“I was hoping you guys would help me with that. Miyoung is having a dinner party tomorrow and i plan on asking her then.” Andrew smiles & says.
“I think you should do it”, Jana smiles & says.
Andrew asks, “will it be alright with you guys?”
Joon smiles & says, “of course it's alright with us! Just as long as you're happy Hyung.”
“Thanks guys”, Andrew smiles & says.
[11:00pm]
Skye’s POV.
It was almost midnight and i went on home after finishing my intern at the Children’s Hospital. Once i got home, i took off my shoes and headed to the kitchen in my house slippers. I went to get a glass of water and walked to the living room where the couch was. I put my bag down on the side of the couch and laid my back against the cushion with my head looking at the ceiling. Then i see Andrew coming out of the bedroom in his pajamas to talk to me.
“Your home”, Andrew says coming out of the bedroom.
Skye smiles & say sitting up from the couch, “just now.”
Andrew says, “Miyoung invited everyone to come over to her house tomorrow night for dinner.”
“Tomorrow night?”, Skye asks.
“Oh”, Andrew says.
Skye says, “i have a double shift intern tomorrow. I don't think i could make it.”
Andrew says crossing his arms, “i kind of think you don't have time for any of this anymore Skye.”
“I’m graduating in 2 years and i need to finish the intern hours right now in order to apply for graduation. I’m trying the best i can to juggle everything at once.” Skye says in frustration.
“Don't you think you need a break?” Andrew asks.
Skye says, “i do need a break but there is no time for that right now.”
Andrew asks, “so there is no time for us then?”
“That's not what i meant Andrew”, Skye says.
“That's exactly what you meant”, Andrew says.
Skye says, “fine. Then i think we really need a break right now.”
I was angry and Andrew went back into the bedroom mad. It's not that i don't have time for him anymore. It's just that i've been so carried away with this nurse major and i just want to be finished with it. All at the same time, i'm tired too. So that night, i slept in the living room on the couch while Andrew slept in the bedroom by himself. We couldn't face each other at all.
