It's Not That Easy.
[2:00PM]
It was almost time to depart Grand Cayman so we headed back on the small boat to head back to the cruise ship. On the way back, we said our goodbyes to the island in our minds. The boat ride made the ocean water trail. It was the most beautiful thing ever. And then we saw our cruise ship again. It looked bigger up close.
Caroline’s POV.
The boat ride back to the cruise ship was amazing and breezing. My hair was not happening the entire ride back, haha. As we got inside of the ship, we showed our passport and ID and were able to go inside. Me, Payton, Bailee, and Jana went to our staterooms. We unpack our bags and changed into our swimsuits again. We decided to enjoy the pool and get a tan at the open deck.
[3:00PM]
As we sat at the chairs in a line, the cruise ship was sailing off. Bailee was reading her book while Payton was sunbathing. I was on my phone looking over the photos we took from the stingray activity. Jana had her sunglasses on watching people going back and forth. I’d realized that she was admiring couples on the ship.
Jana admires couples on the ship & asks, “why can't that happen to me?”
“Stop thinking about Shaun for a second. We’re on vacation for heaven’s sake.” Payton says with her sunglasses on & sunbathing.
“Sorry”, Jana apologizes to everyone.
Payton continues to say to Jana with her ‘i know everything’ attitude, “If you love him that much then you should just marry him.”
Jana asks in her attitude tone, “You really think it's that easy?”
“Shouldn't you stop looking for the right one when you know with your entire heart that Shaun has been the one for you? He’s always been there for you.” Payton asks & says.
“It's easy for you guys to say when your all married. You don't know what i've going through lately.” Jana says as she gets up from her chair.
Bailee’s POV.
After hearing Jana and Payton argue back and forth, i put my book down trying to help them fix their problems but Jana had already walked away with her things. She was really upset and Payton did it again. We really didn't know what Jana was feeling inside and wanted to know why.
Bailee sits up from her chair & says to Payton, “you couldn't just kept your mouth shut about the whole thing.”
Caroline says to Payton, “it's so you Pay.”
“We’re here to comfort each other not turn them down”, Bailee says truthfully.
“Now, we have to go fix it before Jana does something stupid.” Caroline says.
For the last 10 minutes, we went all around the ship looking for Jana. We found her at the very top deck of the rooftop. She was standing there with wind blowing her luscious hair. Me, Payton, and Caroline stood next to Jana to talk to her and make her feel better.
Payton calls out Jana’s name, “Jana.”
Jana smiles, leans her back against the rail & says to Payton, “you were right Pay.”
“I was?” Payton asks not understanding anything.
“The only thing that was stopping me from marrying Shaun was his mother. She never approved of me dating her son, let alone marry him. All a mother want to do is protect their own kids. I understand it now.” Jana says.
Jana continues to say, “me and Shaun ran everytime something like that happens and i think that's how we are alike of each other. I’d realized why and how much he loves me and i love him. He’s nothing like the other guys i've dated in the past. He’s really special to me.”
Caroline says, “it really isn't easy Jana. but you have to be strong and fight through it.”
“The Jana we know, does not give up on anything. She strives for the best and does everything she can to get through it. Your invincible, remember?” Bailee says.
“But what if that Jana isn't there anymore?” Jana asks.
Payton says, “that Jana is always there when you call her name.”
Jana chuckles & says, “strong and power.”
“Strong and power”, Bailee, Payton, and Caroline smiles & says in unison.
Payton’s POV.
We smiled at each other and hugged for comfort together. Then we headed back to the stateroom. While doing so, me and Jana got to talking a little bit more.
“I didn't properly apologize for earlier and im sorry Jana”, Payton says to Jana.
Jana smiles & says, “it's okay. You helped me realize how much i needed Shaun in my life and i appreciate that from you Pay.”
Payton asks, “so your not mad at me?”
“How can i?” Jana asks.
We smiled and side hug each other walking back to the stateroom together. We were definitely best friends for real. Its crazy how we all known each other for 15 years since high school. Now that i look back at it, they are my ride or die. We have been at each other’s wedding, Bailee’s first birth of a baby girl, and vacationing together. Everything is going just great.
