Caroline’s POV.
Last night was crazy. The four of us went to the club and were wild. We drank so much that i woke up this morning with a hangover. We woke up in groans because we had a massive headache. So i got up from bed and got ready. To make myself a bit better, i took a shower. I came out wearing a black and white stripe loose t-shirt, light blue jean shorts, white lace vans, black snapback hat, and with my stylish round glasses. The outfit was cute and tomboy at the same time. I came out of the bathroom and walked towards my suitcase to pack my backpack for the day. I had no idea where we were going still but i followed Jana’s instructions and packed my swimsuit. Then i see Jana getting up slowly from her bed using the ladder. She walked to the bathroom and gotten ready. After a while, she got out of the bathroom wearing something comfortable. She wore a white short sleeve t-shirt, light blue ripped high waisted jean shorts, white slip on vans. Then she went to pack her black leather backpack on the floor next to me. Then it was Payton’s turn. After a while, she got the courage to get up from bed. She walked to the bathroom with her clothes and showered. She came out wearing a black and grey spaghetti strap tank top tucked into black high waisted jean shorts with a black belt, and a blue jean collar shirt that acted as a jacket. Lastly, was Bailee’s turn. She literally rolled out of bed onto the floor. She picked herself up and went to the bathroom to shower. After a while later, she came out wearing a pink crop top t-shirt with an alien face on it, black jean shorts, white with black stripe adidas, black snapback hat, and her round sunglasses.
[7:30AM]
Bailee’s POV.
After the four of us got ready and packed our backpacks with swimsuits and essentials, the cruise ship had docked at Grand Cayman. Since there were so many people going down the dock, we decided to grab something quick to eat before heading out.
[8:30AM]
Payton’s POV.
After eating breakfast at the buffet, we headed out to the very bottom deck to exit the cruise ship. Since there was no dock, we had to take a small boat out to the Grand Cayman island. Everyone were making their way out there together. I got a little seasick from the 5 minute ride out ot the land. When we reached on land, we followed Jana to the city walk area. We made it to this small store called Cayman Stingray City place. We had no idea what it was but we trusted Jana on this one. Me and Bailee stood outside while Jana and Caroline went inside to check in.
Jana says, “Hi. i have a reservation under Jana Lily.”
The front desk person looks up on the computer & asks, “for four people?”
“That's correct”, Jana says.
“So your total will be $140.00”, the front desk person says.
Caroline’s POV.
I stood next to Jana who was about to pay the person and took out my wallet. I wanted to help Jana pay for at least half of the excursion so i pulled out $70.00 from my wallet and gave it to Jana.
Caroline gives Jana the $70.00 & says, “here Jana.”
Jana says looking at Caroline, “its fine. I got it.”
“Just take it”, Caroline says.
I knew what Jana was thinking so she took it with a smile and paid the front desk person.
“Your all set. Have a great time on the excursion.” The front desk person gives the paper receipt to Jana & says.
Jana takes the receipt & says, “thank you so much.”
Bailee’s POV.
Me and Payton were standing outside and saw Jana and Caroline coming out of the store. Everyone else were waiting for the leader to come out and lead us where to go next. Me and Payton were curious of what we were going to do so we asked Jana.
Bailee asks Jana, “are we going to see sea creatures Jana?”
“You guys are just curious lately, huh?” Jana asks.
“Forreal, what are we doing?” Payton asks Jana.
Jana says, “we are going to see stingrays and snorkeling with the fishes in the sea.”
Caroline says, “this was really something i've been wanting to do for the longest time.”
“How did you know about this place?” Caroline continues to ask.
“I did a lot of research on the places we were about to go to. I saw a lot of good reviews on it. So it was a good opportunity to do so.” Jana explains.
Bailee laughs & says, “you really are the travel queen in our group.”
Jana smiles & says, “years of experience from traveling with my family.”
[9:00AM]
Everyone laughed. Exactly at 9am, the leader came out and escorted us to the bus. It was a full bus. We drove through the small city to this little river house. We got off and the leader walked us to the boat that we were taking out to see the Stingrays. The entire boat ride was about 15 minutes out in the middle of nowhere. The sea was clear and beautiful, nothing i've ever seen in my entire life. The skies were out and white clouds were coming in.
Payton’s POV.
Since the entire boat ride out there, we took a bunch of pictures on our phones. The scenery was breathtaking and we couldn't believe that we were there altogether, just the four of us. Caroline wanted to do this for the longest time and she finally got it after so many years of waiting. And she got to go with us, her girls. As we got to the Stingrays, everyone changed our of their swimsuits and went on down to the water. We had to be extra careful of where we walked and how we walked around in the area. As you looked down at the water, there were so many big and small stingrays swimming around. Sometimes, you could feel them touching your leg when they swim past by you. We were a little scared at first but got the hang of it after a while. Then the leader told every family to take pictures together with a stingray the leader had caught for us when he was doing the demonstration to show us. Each of us held the stingray and took a bunch of professional pictures together.
[11:00AM]
Caroline’s POV.
We spent at least two hours at the Stingray site just hanging out with them. Then we headed over to the coral reefs which were a 5 minutes boat ride there. Some people went down to snorkel and some stayed on the boat for safety. Since me and Bailee were the only ones who could swim good, we decided to go down together with our gear and swam around.
[12:00PM]
Bailee’s POV.
On the boat ride back to the land, everyone changed back into their normal clothes. We went back to our t-shirts and shorts. On the ride back, the sea was so beautiful that we all had to take pictures together. While going back, the waves left a trail the water boat. It was so nice. The leader also gave us the photos we took that was sent to our email and we paid for the package that came with it.
When we got back to the land, me, Jana, Payton, and Caroline decided to find something to eat at one of the restaurants there. It was mainly mexican food so we went for it and ate very good food. Me and Payton paid this time for the food because we wanted to. That was how our friendship was like. As we ate good food, we sat there looking at other people and revisiting how much fun we had that morning.
Jana asks, “so what did you girls think about the Stingrays and snorkeling?”
“i don’t know about you guys but i loved it”, Caroline says excitedly remembering it all again.
“It was definitely a once in a lifetime chance of doing that”, Bailee says.
Payton smiles & says, “i can't believe we actually saw stingrays today. That was amazing!”
Jana asks, “so you guys liked it?”
“Oh, most definitely!”, Payton, Bailee, and Caroline says happily in unison.
“I'm glad. You guys should see what we have in plans for the rest of the week. It’ll blow your mind.” Jana says warning them.
Caroline says, “we’re ready for you Jana. bring it on!”
Payton’s POV.
We laughed in unison and finished our food. We still had 2 more hours so we walked around together to buy some souvenirs for our friends and family. Caroline bought magnets for her family while Bailee bought a cute stuff animal for her 4 year old daughter, Liona. I bought some shot glasses for the people at my work, i thought it was necessary to buy it for them. Jana bought a few keychains for her friends at the Kingdom Hall.
