So Much For Being Siblings

When lunch finally came, my friends and I went to buy some food. We found a empty table and sat down.
"So~ Linda, you want to tell us who's this person you like?" A-Yeon asked, even though Sadako probably already told her.
"Jimin. It's Park Jimin." Linda whispered.
"Who is it?" A-Yeon teased again.
"It's Park Jimin!" Linda screamed.
There was a moment of silence and then everyone started the 'ooooooh' and 'aaaaaaah's.
Suddenly, someone stopped by our table and asked, "Did someone call me?"
Everyone's head shot straight up. It was Jimin.
Immediately, Hee-Young replied with, "Oh! Jimin! We were just talking about you!"
He looked a bit surprised and then asked, "Really? Were they good things?"
"Yes! They were. In fact, they were VERY good things, right Linda?" Hee-Young said, gently elbowing Linda, urging her to take this chance and speak to Jimin.
"Oh. I see. I'm guessing that this lady here likes me?" Jimin said, gesturing towards Linda. Linda's eyes immediately widened.
She wasn't sure how to respond. She started opening and closing her mouth, but nothing came out. She looked like a fish without water.
'Well, this isn't good.' I thought. So I decided to answer for her.
"Jimin. No, she doesn't like you. Don't assume such things like that. Plus, why would she like a big-head like you?" I said, trying to sound as mean as possible.
Jimin looked at it as an challenge, so he replied with, "Me? A big-head? What about you? Yesterday you didn't even thank me when I cooked you food. A girl with no manner is calling me a big-head?"
"Hey! That's not true!" I snapped back.
Jimin was about to say something again when a hand went on his shoulder. It was Jungkook. "Hyung, sorry to interrupt you, put a girl is looking for you."
And then Jimin left with Jungkook, leaving everyone sitting at the table silent and it was then I realized the center of attention went from Linda to me. 'Great. Just Great' I thought as I realized why.
"Did he say that he cooked food for you?" A-Yeon asked.
"Er...Yeah. I guess he did...?" I said, avoiding A-Yeon's gaze.
"Why was he cooking for you?" Hee-Young asked, very interested.
I sighed. 'Whatever, not like this really matters.' I thought.


"Jimin is my brother." I told everyone.
