So Much For Being Siblings

It was Jimin. The Jimin. My soon-to-be brother Jimin. I've never noticed him in school before. But I can somewhat see why Linda has a crush on him. He was good-looking, like an idol. He was wearing a loose black shirt, and tight blue jeans. He turned around and saw me. For a second he stopped right in his tracts. Then he give me a wink and walked towards his classroom.
I turned to see Linda's face in the same shade as a tomato. "Linda! Are you all right?" I asked.
Linda was shaking. "Jimin. He winked...in our direction..."
Sadako held Linda's hand and started jumping around. "Good job, Linda! He winked at you!! Jimin probably likes you! Oh my god! This is so CUTE!"
I tried to act hype along with them. But was worried. Should I break it to Linda and Sadako that Jimin was going to be my step-brother? It didn't really matter right? It won't affect anything if Jimin became my brother right? It won't change the chance Linda has with Jimin, right?
'But what if it becomes awkward? What if Jimin will reject Linda because Linda is my friend? Don't boys usually think it’s REALLY weird to date their sister's friend?' I asked myself.
The bell rang, which signaled all students to report to their first-period class. We went to class to meet up with A-Yeon, and Hee-Young.
Unfortunately, my English teacher, Ms. Kim, decided to switch up the seating.
"Aw... That means we'll have to separate!" Sadako said to me as we stood up and went to the front of the class, waiting for Ms. Kim to give us our new seat.
Each table was a long rectangular shape, which meant each table will have two students using it.
I stood there with my friends, Linda, Sadako, A-Yeon, and Hee-Young, waiting to be called.
"Sadako!" Ms. Kim called.
"Here!" Sadako replied.
Ms. Kim pointed to the back of the room, "Please go sit next Jungkook."
Immediately, Sadako's face fell. She looked back at me and made a teardrop sign. But when she approached Jungkook, she smiled politely and sat down. She even greeted him. But being Sadako's friend, I saw her face and knew she hated her seat. She hated boys. Whenever I ask her why she won't get a boyfriend, she would simply say that there are friendships that were ruined because two friends liked the same guy, she never wanted that to happen. So Sadako decided never to like a guy.
"I hope Sadako changes. Jungkook is a nice guy. They'll have a nice couple." I thought.
"Kana!" Ms. Kim called, breaking my thought bubble, whatever that thought bubble was.
She pointed to the seat beside Hee-Young. "Please sit next to Hee-Young."
The teacher had to say nothing more. I flew to the seat next to Hee-Young and gave her a high-five.
"I was afraid I won't be sitting next to a friend." Hee-Young told me.
In the middle of celebrating, I heard the door open. Every stopped to look at who it was.
Park Jimin.
WHY THE HELL IS HE HERE? IS THIS PLANNED? AM I GETTING FILMED FOR A K-DRAMA?
“Hello, Ms. Kim. I am the new student the principal told you about, Park Jimin.” Jimin said after he greeted Ms. Kim.
Ms. Kim nodded. “Right. And you came from Mr. Lee class. Okay. Now I have to continue assigning new seats. Linda! Go at the seat behind Hee-Young. Jimin, you can go sit next to her.”
Linda’s eyes bulged at the sound of that. She hurried to her seat and looked away when Jimin sat down next to her. It was quite obvious that Linda was nervous. But I had more to worry about. Jimin kept tapping me on my shoulder when no one was looking. In the end, this is what the seating looked like.
