Huntress

I stood in the apartment’s second bedroom bare of carpet and furniture, and windowless, a solid square of nothing, well almost nothing. On the bare white concrete floor was an array of circles and symbols in black and red chalk, candles and herbs were scattered around the room filling the room with warmth, light and scent. It would almost be beautiful and romantic if not for the nature of the situation.

I was trembling as I stood dressed in a long white robe tied in place with a gold sash, more symbols covered the hemming and trimming, a heavy book in my hands, ancient powerful words spilling from my lips like a song filling the room with sound as an figure stood in the corner watching, dressed similar to myself but in royal blue.

As the words spilled forth the air began to crackle with energy, power becoming heavy and dense swirling all around me tugging at my senses, teasing me, luring me to pull it into myself to fill myself with it but I knew better and did not answer its call.

In the center of the room in the middle of the array of circles and symbol darkness began to grow, a dark ashy smoke swirling, a pin point of light grew within as it expanded becoming a swirling portal for another world through this opening I could see what looked like an ancient city much like ancient Greece or Rome but my view was soon obscured by a figure who approached and step through the opening which continued to swirl behind it.

“Well Adbidial this is a pleasant surprise,” said a dark, alluring voice that belong to the most gorgeous man I had ever seen, however he was no man, he was a Demon Lord and apparently my new patron as well.
