Finding You & Me

On the other side of town, Kristin was walking out of her meeting with her colleagues when she surpasses her boss. She went into his office to talk to him about giving her a break.

Boss : what is it that you need Kristin ?
Kristin : I wanted to take the next two weeks off from work to travel.
Boss : where are you going ?
Kristin : im going on a vacation to Las Vegas with my best friends.
Boss : two weeks huh ?
Kristin : its just for two weeks. i'll be back to take care of the clients right away. i promise.
Boss : if thats the case then have Andres take care of your clients while you go.
Kristin : i cant let him do that. thats like taking my job away.
Boss : these clients need our service right away the next few weeks.
Boss : they need you to look over the documents in order to go to court.
Boss : you are a lawyer right ?
Kristin : yes sir, i am.
Boss : then act like one and be one. its your job, right ?
Kristin : yes.
Boss : if you really want to go on this vacation then have Andres take over for you.
Boss : if not then i suggest you to stay and work with clients.
Kristin : cant i just video chat them when im in Las Vegas ?
Boss : you know thats not how it works. face to face is the right choice.
Boss : do you understand that ?
Kristin : yes, sir.

Kristin walked out of her boss' office all upset into her office again. She was walking back and forth in her office thinking of a way to go on this vacation and doing her job at the same time. Then Andres came into Kristin office to talk to her.

Andres : hey Kris.
Kristin : dont 'hey Kris' me. dont call me that, ever.
Andres : why are you mad ? Boss didnt let you go on your vacation, did he ?
Kristin : its all because of you.
Andres : why me ?
Kristin : if i leave then i have to let you take over my job.
Andres : and why cant you ?
Kristin : because they are my clients and they need me for this case.
Kristin : you dont know them like i do.
Andres : it doesnt hurt to learn about them last minute.
Andres (*begs) : please, let me take over for you.
Kristin : no.
Andres : you planned this trip since the day you got this job here.
Andres : dont you want to go and have a good time ?
Kristin : why does it matter to you ?
Andres : i care about your health and you need a break anyways.
Andres : i promise i wont do anything crazy while your gone.
Andres : Just go have fun and dont think about work.
Kristin : i hate you, you know that ?
Andres : you'll thank me later, dont worry.

Kristin continued her work on her desk with Andres there learning from Kristin.
