Caroline’s POV.
Me and Jana hugged each other and hanged out together in the room. We caught up with our lives and i sat there thinking that i was going to get married next weekend to the love of my life. The next thing i knew everyone in the group are getting married and having kids already. I couldn't wait to see what the future holds for all four of us.
Joon’s POV.
It's been days since me and Jaelynn had gotten out keys for our new house. We couldn't find an apartment that was our taste so we went for a house instead. You might be wondering how we afford our own house. I've been saving up since i started college at UCLA and Jaelynn has been working really hard and going to school in San Francisco. At one point in our life together, we wanted to move to San Francisco where Jaelynn went to school but the housing there were too expensive and we couldn't afford it. And we thought we would miss home too much and our family are here in LA. So we decided on living in LA together after she graduates in 2 months. I slept at our new home while Jaelynn stayed in her apartment in San Francisco. I moved everything at my house to the new house and organized it a little. I wanted to wait for Jaelynn to move in so we could go shop for our furniture together.
After getting ready for the meeting tonight, i went over to Ryan’s new place to pick him up. I guess he signed the papers and got the keys. He had already moved in half of his things into the apartment. It was quite nice and had two bedrooms too. It was really spacious compared to our small house.
Me and Shaun walked around the apartment to see everything and was so nice. Since Shaun and Ryan’s car were in the shop getting fixed, I had to drive them to the meeting that night. And there were no more fights going on between them. When we left out of his apartment to the car, Ryan locked his door. As we sat in the car, we saw him talking to his neighbor who was a girl.
“Hey”, Janey says to Ryan walking up to him with groceries.
Ryan smiles & asks, “just got groceries?”
Janey says & asks, “yeah. I’m making some pasta for dinner tonight. Did you want to come over and have some?”
“I wish i could but i have to go to my religious meeting. We don't end until 9:00pm.” Ryan says.
“Do you always dress up this nice for those meetings?” Janey asks nicely.
Ryan smiles shyly & says, “yeah. We kind of have to.”
Janey smiles shyly & says, “well, you always look great.”
“Thanks. I’ll see you later.” Ryan smiles & says.
“Have fun Ryan”, Janey says leaving to her apartment.
Me and Shaun smiled because Ryan was smiling the entire time when he was talking to that girl. We guessed that he liked her because he never talked or look at anyone like that unless he really likes them. So he goes into the car and we look at him curiously like what is going on with him. I drove off. Me and Shaun started to ask about the girl.
Shaun asks, “sooooooooooooo, who was that girl?”
Ryan takes a deep breath & says, “i knew you guys are going to ask me about that.”
“Who is she Hyung?” Joon asks while driving.
“She's my new neighbor. She recently moved here from Vietnam and South Korea for her work.” Ryan explains.
Shaun asks, “whats her name?”
Ryan smiles & says, “Janey. Her Korean name is Yang Eun Yoo.”
“And what does Yang Eun Yoo do?” Joon asks.
“She's a medical doctor and a surgeon at the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles”, Ryan says.
Shaun says & asks, “wow. And she's fully Korean?”
Ryan says, “her father is Korean and her mother is Vietnamese which is why she can speak fluent Korean, Vietnamese, and English.”
“Is she dating anyone?”, Joon asks curiously.
“I don't know. I didn't ask about that.” Ryan says.
Shaun says, “maybe you should ask her. She seems really nice and friendly.”
Ryan asks & says, “what? Are you crazy? I barely know her.”
“I bet you that sparks fly or whatever when you talk to her”, Joon jokingly says.
“More like butterflies”, Ryan admitting it.
Shaun jokingly says, “you should just ask her out. It can't be that hard.”
Ryan asks, “and how do i do that?”
“You start with a conversation and build up on it. You never know until you try. You might both have the same interests”, Joon says while driving.
“I think i should do it. In all of my life, i've worried about school, working, and you guys. I mean, she's everything in a girl that i really like.” Ryan says.
Shaun asks, “and what is that?”
Ryan smiles & says, “someone friendly, successful, and cute.”
“I still say you give it a try”, Joon says.
“I think i am”, Ryan says with a smile.
