The Beginning Of Everything.

Jana’s POV.
It was a beautiful Friday morning. Shaun and I moved in together a year ago and I loved it since. So when i woke up to get ready for work, i kissed him on the cheek and got up from bed. I rushed to the bathroom and got ready for work. I wore this beige tank top tucked inside a navy blue loose pants, a tan long coat, and cheetah pointy heels. Then i had my hair up in a curled ponytail.
I walked out of the bathroom dressed to see Shaun awake laying on his side watching me leave. He says to me…
Shaun says as he smiles to Jana, “i still can't believe i landed a good one.”
Jana chuckles & asks, “is that your dream talking?”
“Haha, maybe.” Shaun smiles & says.
“Go back to bed. I have to go to work.” Jana smiles & says.
Shaun sat up & asks, “lunch later?”
Jana says, “of course.”
I walked over to Shaun at the bed and kissed him on the lips. Our apartment was rather small for two bedrooms and one bath. The extra room was for friends and family when they come over to visit. So we both liked the idea of this apartment. I did want to find a beautiful house with a spacious backyard, possibly a pool, a front lawn, and a driveway. But Shaun said we weren't ready for it yet until we got married. I left the apartment walking down the street towards my car.
When doing so, i got a phone call from Shaun’s mother.
“Hello?” Jana answers her cell phone after looking at the caller ID in English.
“This is Miyoung, Shaun’s mother.” Miyoung says over the phone in Korean.
Jana stops walking & continues to say in Korean, “Hello, Mrs. Song.”
Miyoung says in Korean, “i would like to talk to you about something. Please meet me for lunch on Orchard at 12 today.”
“Yes. i understand.” Jana says in Korean politely.
“I will see you then. Don't be late”, Miyoung says in English.
Jana says over the phone in Korean, “yes, ma’am.”
I hung up the phone and went to my car. I sat there for a little while and texted Shaun to let him know that i can't have lunch with him today.
Text Messages:
Jana : sorry. I can't have lunch with you today. There is an important meeting this afternoon.
Jana : I hope you understand.
Shaun : no worries. We can do dinner tonight instead.
Jana : sounds good.
Shaun : have a wonderful day Jana.
Jana : thank you. You too. Don’t work too hard.
Shaun : haha, i got it.
I drove to the school and started working.
