The Missing Piece

Last Day In New York City.

[MONDAY APRIL 3RD]

[9:30AM]

Bailee’s POV.
The four of us slept in that morning. I hung out with Marcel at his house until midnight and he brought me back to the hotel. I honestly don't remember much of last night because i wanted to make the most of the time i got with him. I didn't even worry about what my girlfriends thought. So all four of us woke up at 9:30 to get ready for our day. We had a lot on our list for today. We wanted to explore the main hotspots of New York City for the entire day. We took turns getting ready in the bathroom. Of course, Payton went first because she’s Payton. After a few minutes in there, she came out wearing a knitted ivory long sleeve sweater, black schoolgirl skirt, with black panty hose underneath, a long staple necklace, hair curled prettily, black leather ankle boots.

Then it was Caroline’s turn. She wore a tan short sleeve collar shirt, skinny black jeans with knee rips, dark tan suede jacket, black leather ankle boots, stacked necklace, geometric earrings.

Next was Jana. She wore a short sleeve t-shirt dress that was white, grey knitted long sleeve cardigan, black strap sandals, and her prescription glasses.

Lastly, it was me. I walked out of the bathroom wearing a loose white elbow style shirt, skinny blue jeans with small knee rips, white vans, long necklace, light green knitted long sleeve cardigan.

After getting ready, we headed out to find a place to eat some brunch. We ate this one restaurant that had authentic American breakfast and lunch food. Payton ordered the deluxe salad while Jana ordered the chicken pasta. Caroline ordered the brunch pizza and I ordered a turkey sandwich with side of fries. Everything was so delicious and we devoured it fast into our stomachs. Then we headed out to check out the 911 Trade Center. It was the most tragic thing everyone had to face. There were so many people standing there by the area. The four of us stood there for a few minutes and prayed. We prayed for a good life and how lucky we are to be alive and well. We were more than lucky to have the life we were born with. Since i was the first one done praying, i went over to the flower vendor to buy 4 flowers for us. I walked back with 4 tulips and gave each other to Payton, Jana, and Caroline. We held hands together and stick each of our flowers into the hole where the missing names were.

Afterwards, we headed over to the Empire State Building. We stayed there to take a few pictures together and just hang out for a little while. It was the most beautiful thing i've ever seen in my entire life. I couldn't believe that i was there in person and looking at it with my own eyes. When i did see, it reminded me the time that i drew the Empire State Building for art class in high school. It was a place where i always wanted to go in New York City.

Then we went to Central Park.

Payton’s POV.
Central Park is one of my favorite sights in New York City, i would have to say. We walked the entire park and talked amongst each other together. Everything was just as perfect and planned.

Then we went to the Grand Central Station. It's the main train station of New York City, one of the largest stations. There were so many people there trying to catch their trains to go to work or somewhere. We stayed there to take a few pictures. I know it's not much, but it was a beautiful sight to see. We wanted to make the most out of it.

After the central station, we took a taxi to the Brooklyn Bridge. We snapped a few pictures here and there. We also crossed the bridge together. There weren't that many people there so we were free to take as many pictures as we wanted without being interrupted by bystanders.

[6PM]

Time went by fast and the sun was already setting. Right before that, we took a ferry out to see the Statue of Liberty. The statue is on like an island so we had to take the ferry out there. We went all the way up to the crown of Lady Liberty and the view was breathtaking. I couldn't believe that i was there and looking out to the entire city.

After 15 minutes there, we took a ferry back into the city and back to our hotel. We hurried getting ready for dinner and watching a musical later.

Bailee showered and changed. She wore a white ruffle short sleeve dress, choker necklace, black leather ankle boots, black hat, hair curled down.

Then it was Caroline’s turn. She wore a black loose long sleeve dress up to her knees a bit, black leather ankle boots, hair curled down.

Jana was next. She wore a light pink short sleeve dress that curved her boobs and spread down at the bottom, long staple necklace, hair naturally curled down, rings, and a pair of beige heels.

Lastly it was me. I wore a light blue halter dress, short staple necklace, hair curled down.

Bailee, Jana, Caroline, and me all walked to broadway to the Wicked show. A lot of people were there waiting to get inside. One by one, we bought our ticket and headed inside to take our seats. The musical was about an hour long and it was amazing. Everything was perfection. I could tell that Jana really enjoyed it. After the musical was over, we headed back to the hotel. It was already 10PM. We wanted to get to bed early because we had a flight to catch in the morning to Vegas.

Notes

Happy Friday! This chapter is a little shorter than the others, but I promise you there is more coming in the next few weeks. And I wanted to introduce each person's perspectives. Thank you! :)
