~Your POV~

Somi: Wake up sleepy head! Today is the day we go to our new school! AHHHHHH! I’m so excited!

Few seconds later there’s still no reaction…

Somi: Woman would you just wake up?! Lady lets gooooo!!!

You open your eyes to see your younger sister shaking the bed vigorously.

You: Ugh! Somi, stop screaming! You know how I feel in the mornings. Just give me 5 more minutes!

Somi: ahng unnie ileona~ (she said with agyeo/whining)

You: 5 more minutes ~ (you said whiles yawning)

Somi: Andwae unnie, remember mom said we must get to school early so we can find our classes.

You: Fine I'm up, I'm up. Ugh you are so persistent.

You get up from your bed and go into your bathroom to brush your teeth and take a quick shower. After your shower, you decided to wear something cute and sexy, but not too revealing. You don’t know who you would be meeting, maybe someone cute that you need to impress?

you went to your makeup station to put on some light makeup and went downstairs.

Mom: Ooooooh Seolhyun ah, are you dressing up so nicely to impress someone at school?

You: Eomma!! It’s my first day at school, don’t even know anyone. I just want to make a good first impression.

Mom: Hahaha I’m just joking sweety, you look beautiful. Guess what? The maids made both Somi and your favourite dish for breakfast.

Somi comes down and smells something delicious.

Somi: What smells so good?

You both look at each other with excitement

Somi / You: Manduguk!?!?!?

Mom: Haha, yes Manduguk. Halmeoni (grandmother) made some Mandu yesterday, so I went to go pick it up. I know it is both of your favorite dish, so I told the maids to make some for you.

You: Thanks mom, by the way where's Appa? He normally eats breakfast with us.

Mom: He had something urgent come up, so he went to work early today. Eat your breakfast or you are going to be late for school. The driver is waiting for you outside when you are done, I am going to work first. See you when I get back tonight! Have fun at the new school girls.

she kissed our foreheads and left.

~ 15 minutes later~

You: Somi, are you done eating?

Somi: Yeah, let’s go to school.

During the drive to school

Somi: Unnie, I'm nervous.

You: Wae? Whats wrong?

Somi: Im afraid nobody is going to like me, and I am going to be alone.

You: Somi ah~ don't be scared, you have me remember? We will go through this together. Everyone will love you, how can they not. You are pretty, smart, talented, and you are so thoughtful. We are from the Jeon family, we stick together. If you have anything bothering you, look for me and we can work things out together alright? I will always be by your side.

Somi: Thank you unnie, saranghae

You: Nado saranghae Somi-ah.

Driver: We have reached the school Miss. Jeons

The driver opens the door

You: You ready Somi?

Somi: I guess...... (she let out a huge sigh)

You get out of the car holding hands

Somi: Unnie why is everyone starring at us?

You: Just keep walking and ignore them.

Just then you hear a bunch of girls screaming their lungs out, and people starting to push each other

Somi: Stop pushing! Is there a celebrity here or something?

Thena bunch of boys walked pass you

Somi: Who are they? And why are the girls screaming over them?

You: I don’t know.

The boys walk into the school and then one boy comes running over, and he knocks Somi onto the ground

You: Somi!!! gwaenchanha?

Somi: Ouch! My head.

????: Omg, im so sorry are you ok?

You both look up at each other and stare into each other’s eyes. You feel your heart beating faster. This boy is kinda cute you thought… You quickly snap out of it and helped Somi up.

You: Yeah she's fine, please be more careful next time

????: Mingyu ah!! ppalliwa!!!

So, his name is Mingyu, what a nice name you thought to yourself.

Mingyu: I'm so sorry about that, I'm Mingyu, whats your name?

You: My name is Seolhyun and this is my sister Somi. We are new to this school.

Mingyu: Well I am so sorry for knocking you over Somi, girls at this school can be a little crazy.

????: Yah Mingyu!!!!

Mingyu: I must go; it was nice meeting you. And again, I am so sorry Somi

Somi: That’s ok, im fine

You: Yeah nice meeting you too. Let’s go Somi, are you sure you are ok?

Somi: Yes, I'm fine you are such a worry head.

You roll your eyes

You and Somi walk into the front office of the school

You: Annyeonghaseyo Jeon Seolhyun im-nida

Somi: Annyeonghaseyo Jeon Somi im-nida

Principle: Oh, you are here. Here are both of your schedules, and your books for this year. Somi, I heard from your mom both you and Seolhyun like to Dance and sing.

Somi: Yes, we do.

Principle: We only have 1 dance class and 1 singing class, so you both will be attending those 2 classes together even though Seolhyun is a grade older than you. I have arranged everything, so don't worry, here are both of your locker combinations. Your lockers are next to each other down the hall to your left. I hope you have a nice time here at our school.

You: Ne, kamsahamnida .

You both walk to your lockers to put down your books

Somi: Here it is

Both of you put your books in your lockers and get ready to go to class

You: I should get to my class. Don't be shy ok? Try and make some friends. I'll see you later in class. Fighting! you can do this.

Somi: Ne unnie.

~ Somi’s POV~

Breathe in, and breathe out. Come on somi you can do this. Theres nothing to be afraid of, you will make friends easily.

You: Ok lets see….. My first class is Math with Mrs. Kim. Yay! Math my favorite subject!

You walk into math class and see about 6 boys laughing and goofing around near the window. You go straight to the front where Mrs. Kim is.

You: Annyeonghaseyo Mrs. Kim, Jeon Somi im-nida.

Mrs. Kim: Annyeong! You’re the new student we are supposed to have today

You: Ne

Mrs. Kim: Ok attention everyone!

Everyone goes quiet and stares at you

Mrs. Kim: This is our new student, please introduce yourself

You: Annyeonghaseyo Jeon Somi im-nida. I just moved back here from America after living there for 5 years, I hope I can make some friends here and have a great school year. Thank you (you said in a shy voice)

Mrs. Kim: Thank you somi, you can go sit down at the empty table next to chaeyoung.

Somi: Thank you

You take a seat next to chaeyoung

Chaeyoung: Hi I’m chaeyoung, nice to meet you.

Somi: …

Chaeyoung: Don’t be shy, we will be best friends I can already tell.

Mrs. Kim starts the class, but you keep having this feeling like someone is watching you. You look up to see…

Wonwoo: (smirk)

Somi: ugh who is this guy? Isn't he the one in the group earlier? They were the ones that were joking around next to the window. (you said in a hushed voice)

Chaeyoung: looks like you have a secret admirer.

(you roll your eyes)

Somi: No I dont

~Your POV~

Lets see… my first class is English with Mrs. Young! Yay that’s going to be easy.

You walk to your first class and as soon as you enter you see…

Mingyu: (waves at you)

(you wave back shyly)

Mrs. Young: Oh Seolhyun! Glad you could join us. Class this is Seolhyun, she is a new student that will be joining us today.

You: Annyeonghaseyo Jeon Seolhyun im-nida

Mrs. Young: Seolhyun you can take a seat next to Mingyu over there.

You: Ne, kamsahamnida.

Mingyu: Hey! Hows it going?

You: Good? I guess? Except for the fact that you ran over my sister this morning

Mingyu: Look Im really sorry about that, I was in a rush this morning.

You: ...

You stare at him blankly

Mingyu: What can I do to make it up to you?

Should I take this opportunity to ask him to eat lunch with me? You thought to yourself. I do think he’s kinda cute… but I don’t think he would want to have lunch with me, he probably has his friends that want to eat with him. Maybe I shoudnt…

Mingyu: Hello? You ok? You just spaced out

You: Yeah im fine, umm I don’t really mind anything. Its up to you how you want to make it up to me.

Mingyu: Ok, what about you and your sister come have lunch with me and my friends today? I'll treat you and your sister to lunch

OMG!!!!! What the heck? Is he a mind reader??? How did he know I wanted to have lunch with him? OMG!! Calm down Seolhyun, relax keep it cool.

You: Sure I guess, I don’t see why not.

Mingyu: yay! Meet me in front of the cafeteria at the start of lunch.

Mrs. Young: Ok class lets start.

Mrs. Young started the lesson, and she gave us some questions that we need to answer. I looked over at Mingyu and it looks like he’s struggling.

You: Hey, do you need help?

Mingyu: yeah, if you don’t mind. I’m kinda struggling on this question

You help mingyu with questions the whole class

~ the bell rings~

Mingyu: Hey so I’ll see you at lunch?

You: Yeah, see you then
