The bell rings for lunch

~Your POV~

You walk out of math class with krystal, a girl you met and immediately became bestfriends with.

Krystal: Hey, let me buy you lunch since its your first day here.

You: Thanks, but someone already offered to buy me lunch

Krystal: Who? (She smirks) Is it someone special? Or someone who has a crush on you??

You: Maybe, maybe not? Its Mingyu. He ran over my sister this morning so this is an apology lunch.

Krystal: What?! The totally popular and handsome boy that is part of the KINGKAS?!! Sure, whatever you say ~ (she said sarcastically)

You: oh shut up! (you blush)

Krystal: OMG! You are totally blushing! Girl you like him!

You: I don’t! I don’t even know him. But I guess he’s kinda cute. What are the kingkas exactly?

Krystal: They are the totally handsome group of boys that everyone wants to have as their boyfriends. They are super popular and everyone loves them.

You: Oh no… I might get into so much trouble for eating with him then. (you sigh)

You hear someone running towards you

Somi: Unnie!!

You: Oh! Somi-ah. We are having lunch together today. The guy that ran you over this morning wanted to buy us lunch as an apology.

Somi: ok, but I promised Chaeyoung I would have lunch with her.

You: oh hi, you’re chaeyoung?

Chaeyoung: Yeah, I’m somi’s new bestfriend.

You: oh that’s nice, I’m sure he wouldn’t mind if our friends come along, right KRYSTAL??
(you nudge her)

Krystal: I think he would mind, I’ll just meet you after.

You: No, please come. (I need some moral support bitch, just in case I freak out or someone wants to punch me in the face!) (you whisper so your sister doesn’t hear you)

Krystal: fine, but you better not embarrass us.

You all walk towards the cafeteria and see Mingyu and his friends at a huge table laughing, your eyes go big

You: maybe this isn’t a good idea (you say to Krystal) There’s so many people!

All of a sudden the cafeteria goes quiet

You: why is it so quiet?

You turn around to see Mingyu in front of your face (you can feel everyone’s eyes on you)

Mingyu: Hey im glad you could make it.

You: Yeah, I hope you don’t mind my sister and I brought some friends

Mingyu: of course, the more the merrier. Come on guys

(he takes your hand and drags you to the table)
(meanwhile you feel a billion people giving you the death stare)

Mingyu: Guys this is Seolhyun and Somi, they are new to the school

They each introduce themselves

Mingyu: Seolhyun and I will go get the food, you guys can wait here. Take a seat

Somi: ok thank you

You: Thanks for buying us lunch.

Mingyu: No problem, I owed all of you a meal

You guys are standing in line for the food, Mingyu is standing really close to you and your heart is beating so fast you’re praying he cant hear it.

Mingyu: so what school did you go to before you came here?

You: I was actually in America. I lived there for 5 years and then my dad’s work moved back here so we all decided to come with him.

Mingyu: Oh so that’s why you are so good at English. Were you born here?

You: yeah I was born here at the Seoul National University Hospital

Mingyu: me too!

You: oh that’s so cool.

You keep talking until a girl comes up to mingyu

???: Oppa, I missed you

Mingyu: Seulgi- ah what are you doing here. Go sit back down.

Seulgi: But I missed you, I haven’t seen you all day ~

You and Mingyu pick up the food, and he pays for it.

Mingyu: we are going to go sit down now, go sit with your friends.

Seulgi: ok fine, I’ll go find you later. Bye OPPA~ (she gives you the death stare whiles walking away)

So he has a girlfriend, of course he would. He’s so handsome, why was I even getting my hopes up for? (you thought to yourself) you both take a seat at the table with your friends

~Somi’s POV~

You enter the cafeteria to see that guy that kept starring at you in class.
He looks up at you and smirks again

Why does this guy keep smirking at me? Who is he, and what does he want?

You walk to the table and they each introduce themselves

???: Hi im wonwoo

You: Hi nice to meet all of you.

This conversation is in English:

Joshua: Hi Im Josuha, and this is Vernon we heard from Mingyu that you and your sister lived in America for 5 years?

You: Yeah we did. We lived in New York for a while then we moved to LA.

Joshua: OMG I was born in LA and Vernon was born in New York.

Vernon: That’s so cool, how has it been since you moved back to seoul?

You: It’s been pretty good, everyone has been really nice. The only thing that is really weird is that kid over there, I don’t understand why he keeps smirking and starring at me.

Vernon: Don’t worry about him, that’s Wonwoo. He went through a really bad breakup so he puts this fuck boy attitude on so that girls would think he’s over the breakup. He is actually a really nice person once you get to know him.

Joshua: Yeah, don’t worry, he is one of the nicest boys I know. We are all friends now, so try any be his friend. But the only thing is that if you want to be friends with him you would have to open up first and let him in slowly.

You: ok sure I guess ill try.

Mingyu and Seolhyun come back with lunch.

You: thanks for buying us lunch

Mingyu: No problem, I wanted to apologize for this morning. I was in a rush and I didn’t mean to hurt you.

You: its ok, it was an accident

Mingyu: hows your head?

You: its ok I only got a bruise on my head and a cut on my knee. It doesn’t really hurt, so its fine.

Mingyu: Well here take this, it will help

He gives you some band aids and cream

You: Thank you

Soon the end of the school day arrives
~Your POV~

You meet somi at the entrance of the school

You: Somi, the driver is here lets go home

Somi: Ok

Mingyu: Seolhyun! Somi! Wait up

YouL Whats up?

Mingyu: Are you going home now?

You: Yeah our driver is here to take us home

Mingyu: The guys wanted to walk you home to get to know you little more.

You: Somi, do you want to walk home instead?

Somi: sure, im fine with anything

Mingyu: Ok great, Guys! Lets go

You: Mr. choi (Driver) can you meet us at home please? We are going to walk home today

Mr. Choi: of course, be careful Ms. Jeon

You: Thank you
