After 3 hours of driving, i had arrived at the lake house.

I drove up to the huge drive way to see Lila standing there waiting for me. I parked and got out of the car. I took out my things and the dress walking towards Lila. We were so happy to see each other after so long and hugged.

Lila (*smiles & says) : oh my gosh, i miss you so much Jane.
Jane (*smiles & says) : i missed you too.
Lila (*asks) : are you ready for a week of fun ??
Jane : i should be asking you that question.
Lila : we need to catch up after you settle in.
Jane : of course.
Lila (*chuckles & says) : lets go inside. I want to show you the place.
Jane (*smiles & says) : okay.

Lila walked me inside of the lake house and it was so beautiful. It was like looking at my dream house (like i once dreamed of when i was little). There was an upstairs where the rooms were at. Lila and Kai’s parents stayed in separate rooms together while the others shared. There were a total of 6 rooms at the lake house. While waiting in the living room with my things, i waited for Lila to come back with the keys to the room. I looked around me and was happy to be where i'm at.

Then Kai and Scott came walking into the room to see me. We hugged each other and said our hellos.

Kai (*asks) : how have you been Jane ?
Jane (*smiles & says) : i've been busy with work and such.
Jane : This place is beautiful.
Jane (*asks) : how did you manage to rent out a place like this for the week ?
Kai : it was all Lila’s idea.
Jane : well, it's great. I'm so happy to be staying here for the week.
Kai : we’re glad that you can be here and celebrate with us.
Jane : aww, your welcome.
Scott (*asks Jane) : how was the drive here ?
Jane (*smiles & says) : long but i made it.

Lila came back with the room key and gave it towards me saying…

Lila : your room key. Your staying in room 706, the last room down the hall.
Jane : okay thanks.
Lila : get rested and come down for dinner say 7ish.
Jane : yes ma’am.

I walked to my room while Lila, Scott, and Kai stands there talking.

Kai (*asks Lila) : isn't Ryan in room 706?
Lila (*remembers & says) : oh that's right.
Scott (*asks) : you're gonna let Jane stay in a room with a complete total stranger for a week?
Lila : chill out bro.
Lila : they'll get along fast. I know Jane, she's an easy goer.
Kai : not Ryan babe.
Kai : He likes his personal space and he was the one who requested to have his own room.
Lila : oh my gosh, I'm sorry.
Lila (*says & asks) : I've done it again, have I?
Kai : I'll deal with Ryan once the both of them find out.
Scott : I still don't like this.
Lila : relax bro. Like you could ever get with Jane.
Scott (*asks) : what is that suppose to mean?
Lila : Jane doesn't see you as a partner but a brother. You should know that by now.
Kai : I don't want to get in between you two so I'll leave.

Kai left leaving Lila and Scott arguing about Jane. Me, Jane, on the other hand, I walked up the front door of the room and turned the handle with the key. I walked inside with my things and looked around. I heard the water running from the bathroom and thought maybe someone was fixing it. I continue to walk to the big window with the nicest view of the lake. I was so happy to be where I was. Then suddenly, the door opened from the bathroom and a man in a towel came out. I turned around to meet eye contact with him and freezes. I raise my hands to cover my eyes when he asks…
