[MONDAY, 12PM] I spent all morning getting ready for work and leaving to the lake house afterwards. I wore a striped black and white long sleeve shirt, grey knitted coat sleeves rolled up, black ankle dress pants, cheetah print slip on shoes, hair curled down nicely, and an orange bag.

There was so much work to do before leaving to the lake house for Lila’s wedding. I was in my office putting together the designs for the Hamsons project. Brenda, my intern, walked into my office to tell me something about the project.

Brenda : i have to take the Hamson’s project to the company in 10 minutes.
Jane : i know. I’m almost done with putting it together.
Brenda : you're normally on top of things Jane.
Jane : i woke up late this morning to do things.
Brenda (*asks) : don't you have to leave to the lake house for Lila’s wedding week ?
Jane : yeah, i have to leave after this.
Jane : i’ll leave after i get this project together.
Brenda : alright.

I walked all over my office to find the pictures for the project to put it together. My entire office was so messy and is the only person who knows where the things are. I hurried and finished the project. I called Brenda into my office and told her while giving her the project.

Jane : projects done. I need you to send it to the company.
Brenda : okay.
Jane : Let me know if anything happens here.
Jane : just call my cell and i’ll pick up when i'm at the lake house.
Jane : also. Since i'm not here, i want you to check up on the designs for the winter fashion show.
Jane : everyone should be half way working on it and picking out the fabrics.
Brenda : i got everything covered here Jane.
Jane : everything will be in your hands while i'm gone.
Brenda (*asks) : what about Wendy ?
Jane (*asks back) : what ABOUT Wendy ?
Brenda (*asks) : should i tell her that you are going on vacation for a week ?
Jane : i had already told her and said you are going to be in charge.
Jane : i'm sure if she still remembers if she doesn't, please remind her for me or tell her to call me.
Brenda : i understand.
Jane : now i have to go. I’ll see you next week when i come back.
Brenda : have fun Jane.
Jane (*smiles & says) : thank you Brenda.

I left the fashion company to the lake house to meet Lila and everybody else. I drove for 3 hours to the lake house. The entire time i was driving, i couldn't wait to get there because i finally get a mini vacation from work. You don't know how long i've waited for this week to come. Me and Lila hasn't seen each other in a month because we were so busy with our own lives and jobs. It was time for me to deliver her beautiful handmade wedding dress.

Kai and Ryan were drying off after swimming together at the pool. They said to each other…

Kai : so i got the news that Lila’s best friend is coming in a few hours.
Ryan (*asks) : the one that she met in high school ?
Kai : yeah.
Ryan (*asks curiously) : so how is she like ?
Kai : she’s very nice and chill.
Ryan : Ahhhh….
Kai (*asks) : what's wrong now ?
Ryan : i'm still iffy about marriage but i'm happy for you and Lila though.
Kai : that's because you were married once and lost a loved one.
Ryan : i'm still missing Lonna, Kai.
Kai : i know you do but you have to let it go and acknowledge that she's gone.
Kai : if she was here, she would be happy that we all made it this far together.
Ryan : she is happy for us from where she is.
Kai (*asks) : so let's make this week one memorable week, okay ?
Ryan : Okay.
