Not Getting Along Just Yet.
Ryan (*asks) : what are you doing in someone else's room?
Jane (*says as covering her eyes) : Lila said that I'm staying in this room for the week.
Jane : she didn't tell me that I have roommate.
Ryan (*says in an angry tone) : we are not roommates.
Jane : I'm going to go talk to Lila.
Ryan : yeah me too.
Jane : put on some clothes first before you step out sir.
I turned around and walked away downstairs looking for Lila. I looked everywhere for her and finally found her outside sitting where the pool was. I walked up to her and calls out her name…
Jane (*calls out Lila’s name) : Lila.
Lila : Oh Jane.
Lila (*asks as if she doesn't know what Jane was talking about) : what's wrong ?
Jane : the room that you gave me, it turns out that there's a person living in it.
Lila : well, you see.
Jane (*crosses her arms & asks suspiciously) : what is it Lila ?
Lila : there weren't enough rooms for everyone so most of us had to share rooms.
Jane : you could've just told me something when i checked in earlier instead of making it a surprise.
Lila : i'm sorry Jane. i forgot to tell you.
Jane : you're my best friend, best friends are suppose to tell each other everything.
Lila : don't you pull the best friend card.
Lila : it's just for the week. His name is Ryan Yoshi and he’s Kai’s best friend.
Lila : he’s also going to be our personal chef for the wedding.
Jane : your big bro is going to monitor my every move if I stay with this Ryan dude.
Lila : he already knows and he hates it very much. You two aren't dating or anything.
Jane : yeah, but still. He looks after me well.
Lila : sometimes, you just have to trust yourself. It's going to be okay Jane.
Jane (*asks) : aren't you going to talk to Ryan about this too?
Lila : i’ll talk to him with Kai about it. He’ll surely understand.
Jane : you do know that he’s looking for you now, half naked.
Lila (*shocked, raises her eyebrow & asks) : half naked ?
Jane : yeah. I found him half naked in the room when i was checking it out.
Jane : I never knew you could take a shower this early in the day.
Lila (*laughs & says) : what a nice first meeting.
Jane (*says with a straight face) : it's not funny.
Lila : come on, it's a little funny.
Jane (*tries not to break into laughter & says) : it's not.
Lila : alright. I’ll talk to Ryan about it.
Jane : you better.
I held onto my laughter while walking back upstairs.
A moment later, Ryan comes towards Lila outside where she was with all of his clothes on. Kai came out to see what was wrong.
Ryan (*calls Lila’s name in an angry tone) : LILA !
Lila (*asks) : you’ve heard the news about Jane ?
Kai comes towards Ryan and Lila to talk to them.
Ryan (*asks) : you knew and didn't tell me anything ??
Kai (*asks Lila) : oh my gosh, did you tell him ?
Lila (*says to Kai) : he just found out.
Ryan (*asks Lila) : what the heck Lila ?
Lila : Jane is my best friend and she just came here.
Lila : all of the rooms in this house are full and you are the only one living in yours.
Lila : so i'm letting Jane stay in your room for the week.
Ryan (*asks in shock) : WHAT???!!!???
Lila : that's right ! i said it and you're going to do it.
Ryan (*asks Kai) : aren't you going to say anything about this ?
Kai (*asks) : how can i ?
Kai : Jane is very important to Lila.
Ryan (*says to Kai) : i'm important to you too.
Lila : Look. lets not fight about this and just do as i say.
Lila : i apologize for this problem but we are in a tight situation at the moment.
Lila : it's just for a week. The week will be over by the time you know it.
Lila : i know Jane very well and she isn't a bad person to live with.
Lila : you’ll grow to like her and she won't harm you in any way. I promise.
Ryan (*asks) : can't you just let her sleep in the living room ?
Lila : i'm not going to let my best friend sleep in the living room.
Lila : Jane couldn't come earlier because of her work so she came now.
Lila : one week, that's it. Please, just do this for me. Okay ?
Ryan : fine. One week and that's it.
Lila : good.
Kai (*says & asks) : now that it's settled, can we move on with our day ?
Ryan : right.
Ryan walked back upstairs to the room. Kai and Lila stood there talking.
Lila : we resolved that very well.
Kai : let's just see if he lasts by the end of the week.
Lila : i know Jane will.
Kai : i bet you that they will fall in love with each other by living together.
Lila : no way. Jane sweared off relationships a long time ago.
Lila : she wouldn't have the idea of getting together with another guy.
Kai : you wouldn't know.
Lila (*smiles & says) : it's a bet then.
Kai (*nods his head & says) : deal.
Ryan opened the door to see Jane sitting on the floor taking something out of her suitcase. He walks into the room quietly going into the bathroom with the doors open blow drying his hair. I didn't look at him because i was texting Brenda letting her know that i had arrived at the lake house. I wanted to apologize for everything that i assumed the bad in him. Jane : i'm sorry if i talked to you rudely earlier.
Jane : i'm also sorry for sharing a room with you. I understand if you want to sleep on the bed.
Jane : I’ll just sleep on the floor.
Ryan : i'm sorry for the way i acted earlier too.
Jane (*smiles & says) : it's okay.
