Believing In Love Again
Wedding Day.
[SATURDAY, 8AM] It was already morning and I woke up thinking i was late for the day. I looked at my watch and saw that it had been 8am. I got up quietly letting Julie and Cecelia sleep for a little while. I walked out of the basement back to my room to get ready for the day. I wore a casual loose grey t-shirt, skinny black jeans, and white low top converse.
Today was the day of Lila’s and Kai’s wedding day. They were going to be a married couple. Everyone had woken up early to prepare for the ceremony and reception. They all put in time to help out with the wedding around the lake house. Ryan spent all morning cooking meals for the reception dinner. Scott (Lila’s oldest brother), Devon (Kai’s friend), Jon (Kai’s friend) were all wearing their tuxedos and getting ready for the wedding. Alanis (Lila’s friend), Kim (Lila’s friend), Natalia (Kai’s youngest sister) were also getting ready for the wedding and helping Lila display the tables and such around the lake house outside. Since Lila didn't hire a wedding planner, i had to help her plan everything with the help of everyone too.
After i was done displaying the bridesmaid dresses and tuxedos in the separate dressing rooms, i went out to meet Lila at the ceremony venue outside. We checked up on both of the venues and see if everything was in its place. While finishing up the checking, Lila asks me…
Lila (*asks) : have you seen my mom and Cecelia ?
Jane : they were in the basement with me last night.
Lila (*asks) : why were you guys there ?
Jane : i had to make a dress for your mom because she thought she brought it but didn't.
Lila : oh okay. I’ll go check up on them.
Jane : oh yeah. The photographer is here and ready to take photos.
Lila (*asks) : right now ?
Jane : as soon as possible since the ceremony is at 12.
Lila : okay.
Jane : i'm also going to get ready after this too.
Lila : alright. I'm going to get going and check up on after.
Lila’s POV.
I walked off to the basement of the lake house to see my mom and Cecelia. They were already awake and looking at the details of the dress Jane had made. I came forward to them and saw how beautiful the dress was. I touched it and was so proud of what Jane could do with her talent. Then i ask my mom and Cecelia.
Lila (*asks) : did Jane make this last night ?
Cecelia : she did.
Lila : its very beautiful.
Julie : i love it a lot. She is so talented.
Lila : she is.
Lila : anyways, we have to get going and get ready for the wedding.
Lila : we have pictures to take too.
Lila (*says excitedly) : let's go !
Lila, Cecelia Terrance (Kai’s Stepmom), and Julie Manson (Lila’s Mom) all walked to the dressing room. Most of the girls and guys were done getting ready in the dressing room. I was helping everyone get dressed, do their hair, and makeup. After that, i went to the guys dressing room to help them put the tuxedos on. At this point, i didn't get dressed yet because i was worried for the others. Once everyone was done, they look so beautiful and fresh.
Then it was my turn to get ready. I got my makeup and hair done. Then i wore the beautiful bridesmaid dress. I felt so pretty and didn't even recognize myself through the mirror. After that, i went to help Lila get ready. She wore the same hairstyle as me but made it more elegant.
Once we were done getting ready, everyone headed out to the lake house to take pictures together. First, Kai and Lila took some together by the lake. They looked like a perfect couple.
After taking a few pictures together, the bridesmaids and groomsmens were up next to take some photos together. Then it was mine, Ryan, Kai, and Lila’s turn to take pictures together. Since we were all close to each other, we had to take one together. Then we all took one as a whole family along with the bridesmaids and groomsmens as well.
[11:45AM] The time came for the wedding ceremony. While the guests were arriving at the ceremony venue, we took our places at the alter.
