Xiumin’s POV

“Hyung did you see?” Kyungsoo said suddenly.

“See what?” I asked curiously.

“This.” He hands me his phone.

Breaking News: Kim Yeon Min found dead.

On August 15, 2016, SM Entertainment’s CEO is found dead in a hit and run. No eyewitnesses were found, and CCTV’s around the area were coincidentally broken. The scene is under investigation, but the culprit seemed to have left a note on the body of the former CEO:

Bring them back. Bring my EXO oppas back to Seoul.

“What? How did this even happen?” I said, my fingers curling around the phone.

“Hyung, I don’t know.” His voice quivering.

I place the phone on the table and stood up. I faced Kyungsoo, staring into his eyes.

Immediately Kyungsoo looked away staring at the floor.

“Hyung, I have something to do.” He finished quickly grabbing his phone.

“Wait.” I grabbed onto his shoulders, forcing him to look me in the eye. “What are you hiding?”

His round eyes widened more in fear.

I scowled, realizing how harsh and cold I sounded.

“S-sorry, but I really wanted to talk to you. Lately you seem really down and there seemed to be something you’re hiding from us. What is it? You can tell me. Trust me.”

He stepped back, shrugging away from my grasp. He gave me a small promising smile, but there was something in his expression that struck me.

What was it? Fear? Doubt?

But before I could truly understand what he was hiding, it disappeared, leaving me confused.

“Sometimes, things are best undiscovered. I’m truly grateful that I’ve known you.Thanks for worrying about me. You and Exo, you guys mean the world to me. Thanks for always being there when I needed you guys.” He smiled, and left me staring at his shadow as he disappeared up the stairs.

My fingers curled into fists in frustration.

I walked towards the kitchen bumping into Tao. His face was pained, his eyes dead. I looked at Kris who was sitting on the couch, staring at the black TV screen, unaware as I passed in front of him.

Sehun’s usual mischievous smile was replaced with a blank look, I tried talking to him but he simply slipped away from my hands and walked past me.

What? What has happened to everybody? What happened to EXO? What happened to us?

Please, somebody tell me what is going on. Before, they disappear.

D.O.’s POV

Xiumin's face flashed through my head.

Sorry, hyung. I’m sorry I lied.

I hope you can forgive me, when this is all over.

I grabbed the black box of sand from the closet and began looking at its images.

The man in the sand smiled cruelly.

It seems you have something I need, Do Kyungsoo-shi.
