Jungkook’s POV
My phone rang and ran I slowly ran near the bathroom in embarrassment. It was Manager hyung.


“Manager hyung…..”


“Ya You! Where in the world are you right now? And without telling your manager? Huh. What a nice move!” He yelled. I can sense his rushing anger through his voice.


“Hyung mianhae (sorry) But I think I’ll be late to come back. There’s an urgent matter that came up. Don’t worry I’ll take responsibility for whatever! I am man now you know! It’s just, I don’t think I can just leave her here. I’ll just call you for the pick-up since we can’t ride the public transpo.” I whispered through the phone.


“Ya aish! Don’t even think about riding a bus! Take care oh?”


I murmured and hung up. I walked and saw the doctor’s hand on Chae Seol’s shoulder. Trying to comfort her. Looks like that scripted thing that a doctor has to do in front of a patient’s relative.

The doctor and I exchanged respective bows and I turned to look at Chae Seol. All I can see in her face is still her stunned face.

Chae Seol’s POV
‘Could she perform tomorrow?’ Jungkook sunbaenim whispered from behind.

I finally got back to my senses. “I can. I’m Park Chae Seol! This is just some bump road on my way. I’ll be able to perform tomorrow don’t worry!” I smiled. I didn’t want to put something heavier in his shoulders so I just lightened the mood a little even if it didn’t felt that good in my heart.


“Worry? What worry? Worry my butt. I’m not worrying” He stuttered. I saw his face blushing a little and avoided my eyes.


“Sunbae...”


“Hmmm?” He replied.


“About what you said earlier that I’m your type…..”


“Aish! Forget about that I didn’t say anything! What type!”


I smiled a little with his cute childish reaction. This is the first time I saw Jungkook sunbaenim like this. Well I saw him in variety shows when I was still a fangirl. Well till now, but I just upgraded to an idol like him. He’s always that golden maknae and cute as a little boy.


“Chae Seol-ssi? Please follow me.” A police officer came out of nowhere. Jungkook sunbae and I rode the police vehicle with him. We ended up in the station and gave me a pile of papers. He explained it to me and Jungkook sunbaenim. He was behind me focused on the topic.


“Based on the CCTV on the destined spot of where your dad was hit, this is the actual plate number of the car.” He showed me a blurred picture on his computer. “We’re gonna work on it and contact you if we found out about the driver. This is a big case. He/She just killed a person. This has to go to the court. But for now, you can focus on your work and you can call us anytime for any questions or help.” I crumpled the end of the paper in nervousness and shock.

We got out of the station and we rode the van with BTS’ manager with us. Suddenly I felt my cheeks wet.

‘Tears? Why am I crying?’ I asked myself.


“Everything’s gonna be fine.” Jungkook sunbae breathed out.


Our eyes met and in some way, I felt comfortable.


“You don’t see it now, but It’s gonna be okay.”


I looked at the mirror and it was raining. ‘But I have to find the driver first for my dad to be in peace. Atleast.’
