If Dreams Could Tell

No One's POV

Jin took you to the beach. The both of you strolled along the shore. This wasn't exactly a date, but it was enough to satisfy you.

"I'm still surprised that you could fight." Jin said.

"Who do you think I am? A damsel in distress?" You sighed, "Do you think I'm really that weak?"

"No, no. It's just, why didn't you fight back when you had the chance to? Like that time with Seohyun and her minions."

Besides not wanting to fight to find your path, you had another reason. "I'm only telling you this because you told me about the others." You say pulling Jin behind a large rock. "Promise me you will still love me?" You held out your pinky.

"Promise." Jin hooked his pinky with yours.

"It was an accident just like Suga's parents." You were starting to regret this. But you can't just say you're not going to tell Jin anymore. "There was this girl, in the same orphanage as me."

Flashback

Loser. That was what you were to the other kids. You didn't do anything to them, yet they still disliked you. You were just 10 then.

That was until a new girl who came into the orphanage.

"Hi! What's your name? Mine's Lee Yuji!" She cheerfully said. You could feel your eyes widen. No one had ever communicated with you before. You slightly giggled at her lame introduction.

"I'm Yoon Baekhee." You accepted her handshake.

The two of you became the best of friends. You soon learned that she had anger issues, which you were glad you were always on her good side.

Yuji and you also shared a lot of similarities. Her relatives kicked her out of the house. Instead of Yuji's aunt and cousins kicking her out like yours, it was her grandparents that did that.

Her grandparents think her anger issues was just too much. You were confused by that. Yuji was kind to you, she had done nothing to release her anger at you.

She would yell and scare away the kids that disrespect you.

The he both of you also had differences. At the orphanage, there were classes. Yuji took Taekwondo, while you took Judo classes.

There was one day when Yuji asked if she could practice some Taekwondo moves on you. Of course you agreed.

Suddenly, she asked, "Have you ever wondered whose stronger between you and me?"

"N-no, at least I don't think so." You replied.

"Then you obviously do!" Yuji said pissed. You had never seen her mad at you, "I'm curious." She said getting into a fighting position. "Come at me."

The rules were if either one of you falls on the floor first, loses.

The two of you were tied so far, though you weren't trying your best. You were too scared of what will happen. You knew she would get angry and upset if she lost.

"Why can't I win? This is suppose to be easy." Yuji glared at you. "You're such a weak duckling! Why can't I win?"

There comes her anger. You hope she doesn't mean that. It was just her anger issues, you convinced yourself. It didn't seem to work, and you were soon using your full strength.

Yuji fell on the floor with a shocked face, followed by an angered one.

Shd picked up some scissors lying on the floor dangerously and ran towards you.

You gasped and panicked trying to dodge her attacks.

You grabbed the closest thing on the table.

Flashback End

"I grabbed a knife. It happened to be there." The words started to get clogged up in your throat.

Jin patted your back, "And then?"

"I...killed her."

He stopped patting your back, "You did what?"

"I was so scared." You sobbed, "I didn't want to die. I stabbed her repeatedly. No one was there when it happened."

Sure Yuji had tried to kill you first, but she was the first friend you made. You couldn't just abandon her.

You thought if you didn't get into fights anymore, it would help you forget about it. Unfortunately, it didn't.

This was one of your darkest secrets.

You didn't understand then, but now you knew what Yuji's grandparents meant by being "Too much."

"I hadn't told anyone. You're the first one I told this to." You said thinking he was going to run away, you shut your eyes.

Jin instead of running away, he kissed you.

"You don't hate me?"

"I promised I would still love you." His kisses traveled along your jawline. "That was an emergency. She tried to kill you."

"It's my fault, I killed someone, I was only 10."

Jin stopped at your neck. "I don't blame you." He pulled away. "And I'm sure the others won't either, especially Suga."

"How would you know?" You asked.

"Rap Mon and I was videos chatting the others yesterday. They know we told you about their pasts now. Suga was so pale, it looked like he was gonna faint. He was so worried you were going to think he was a teenage soon to be an adult murderer. I'm sure he wouldn't mind if the others don't blame him killing his parents." He said.

"I hope you're right." You and Jin cuddled together, "Let me stay like this for a little while."

"What happened after? Did anyone find out?" Jin quietly asked.

"The people that worked there found out and kicked me out. I was lucky they didn't call the cops, which was pretty stupid. I found myself a house. The landlady offered to help me, because in the end she still gets the money." You said feeling your eyes get droopy.

You fell asleep soon after.

"What kind of secrets do you hide?" Jin whispered placing his chin on top of your head falling asleep with you.


"I feel so refreshed after letting it all out." You said, "I never knew telling someone about this will make me feel so much better."

You had exited the beach after spending 3 hours sleeping behind the rocks. The sun was setting.

You and Jin were hand in hand by the streets walking to a restaurant.

"I'm always there if you need me." He smiled and kissed your nose.

"So cheesy." You smiled kissing him back on the cheek. A couple walked by, "They're so cute." They giggled.

You and Jin blushed. When did you get so lovey dovey with Jin? The last time you checked, you hated him.

But that was in the past, things change. You grinned. After going to the restaurant, the both of you would go star gazing, and you were looking forward to that.

Just when you thought almost everything in your life was perfect,

"Jin! Watch out!"

Everything happened in a blur, and all you could remember seeing was,

An eagle with a cross.
