If Dreams Could Tell

No One's POV

You didn't lie. You are busy. Busy studying for the exam tomorrow. You heard a knock on my door.

"Baekhee?" Jungkook's voice could be heard from the other side, "Can I study with you?"

"Come in." You said.

Jungkook's school supplies were already in his hands. He smiled and put his things down next to you. "I need help in math again."

Didn't he say he was confident 5 minutes ago?

You gladly helped him with math and English since Rap Mon was too annoyed with Jungkook's English.

Jin pressed his back against your door, listening to you tutoring Jungkook.

He sighed. He should probably go study too.


"Good luck guys." Jimin waved goodbye, "I'll be eating the rest of the ice cream."

V and J-hope immediately glared, "Don't you dare."

Jimin took the pint of ice cream and ran off with V and J-hope hot on his tails.

"I'm gonna leave without them." Rap Mon said.


Baekhee's POV

"As you know, we are taking the exam today." The teacher said, "You are not to cheat or else you will get punished, am I clear?"

"Ne!"

"If you are done, turn it in and you may go home. Your time starts...now!" She started the timer.

The questions were harder than I thought. I hope Jungkook will be okay.

I got stuck on question 24. I restrained myself not to look at Jin's answers. Our hands bumped.

"You're left-handed?" Jin asked softly.

It took a while before I replied, "Yeah."

"Quiet!" The teacher scolded.


"That was so hard!" Jungkook whined, "I didn't know the answer to 24, 35, 46.." The list went on and on.

It didn't take me a while to realize that all those questions were English. That made me feel proud that at least he knew the math questions.

All that mattered was that exams were finally over. We can take a break from studying now. Not that we ever studied.

"We can basically go home now, right?"

"I'd rather get some ice cream first." V crossed his arms.

"I'm broke." Rap Mon said, "I payed for the kitchen I broke in cooking class. I'm glad I don't have to attend her classes anymore."

Jin rolled his eyes, "That's because you can't cook. Did you guys go to prom this year?"

V nodded, "You should've seen Baekhee! She was wearing a dress! It was a miracle!"

I remembered that time when we had prom. It was a while ago before Jin was here. I was so embarrassed.

Flashback

Baekhee's POV

"Baekhee! Are you going to prom this year?" J-hope asked.

"No, why?"

He pouted, "But we're all going!"

"That doesn't mean I'm going." I said.

"Please!" V pleaded, and soon all the members besides Suga and Rap Mon started sticking their lip out and begging me to come.

I looked away, "No way."

"If you come with us, I'll buy you a new phone!" Jungkook said. He had recently dropped my phone in a bowl of soup while hacking into it.

I thought for a while before saying, "Fine. If only you buy me the most expensive phone in the store."

Jungkook looked back at the other members, "Uh, sure, deal." He held out his hand.

You ignored it, "I don't have a nice dress." I was hoping I could get out of that.

"We can go shopping after school!" J-hope said.

"Please no. Leave me out." Suga groaned. " I need my bed one sleep."

"Nope! You're coming with us!" V dragged him to the mall.


Each of the boys picked an outfit but none of them seem to satisfy me even if the boys liked it.

After trying a butt load of dresses, I finally decided on one. It was a spaghetti strapped purple dress, the hem on the backside of the dress hung lower than the front which was knee length.

They looked at me in amazement, "You look great."

"Are you kidding? She looks like a duck." Suga snorted.

"Thank you very much, I think I'm gonna change back into my normal clothes." I glared.

While changing, I could hear their conversation outside.

"Suga Hyung! Why did you say that?" Jimin frowned.

"I was only stating the truth." He said.

"That's not true! You know she looks good in that."

Suga scoffed and looked away.

Flashback End


"Suga was very..judgemental." I glared, "He called me a duck."

Jin put a hand over his face stifling a laugh.

I pulled him into a headlock, "Are you trying to laugh? You pig!"

He stopped, "Did you just call me a pig?" He yelled back.

"Yeah, so what?" Yesterday's flashback came across my thoughts. I slowly let go and coughed.

Jin did the same.

Suga looked at us weirdly, "Are you guys okay?"

"No. She called me a pig." Jin pointed at me.

"Hyung you're older than us, act like it." Rap Mon said.

"I can't take it! She's so mean to me."Jin sulked.

Jae Seok laughed as he walked over. I had to admit, he was worse than Seohyun, "What'cha losers doing?"

"None of your business." I coldly said.

He shrugged, "Just curious." He walked closer to me.

Jin reacted first and held out his arms to protect me. "Don't cause any trouble. You've done enough."

"I will. I'll cause trouble for everyone. You can't stop me." Jae Seok said. "Just wait, and everyone will be falling part."
