If Dreams Could Tell

Baekhee's POV

It has been a few days since the exam. In those days, the others had gotten envelopes accepting them into colleges.

J-hope and Jin are going to America just as planned, while Jungkook got accepted into a college in Busan. V who didn't know what to do after graduating is following J-hope and Jin to America.

As for me, I didn't get accepted into anything. At least yet.

That leaves me, Rap Mon and Jimin since Suga is moving to Japan.

I sighed. Tomorrow is graduation day. We would finally be free from school.

Someone knocked on my door. "Can I come in?" I recognized Jin's voice.

"Sure."

Jin made sure no one was eavesdropping on whatever he was talking about and closed the door. He sat on the edge of my bed.

"So..we're finally graduating." He said.

"It's gonna be lonely without them." I whispered, "I admit."

"I have to leave after graduation to catch my flight." Jin continued.

"Get to the point." I started to get impatient. There was no way Jin was wasting my sleep time just to talk to me about that.

Jin took a deep breath, "I would like to hear your answer before I leave."

"You mean that time at the roof?"

He nodded and got up, "Good night."

How am I suppose to feel about that? He wasn't the one I like, yet he still makes my heart beat. I imagined his pained face if I rejected him. Will I be happy if I said yes to him?

My thoughts got distracted when I heard a loud 'bang' outside my room which was probably Rap Mon. It would be so quiet after they leave.


"Jin said he likes me." I said to Seokjin.

"You already told me that." He sighed.

"What if I don't like him back? You're the one I like."

"You will. He's a cool guy." He smiled.

"How would you know?"

"Because I know him more than anyone else."

"That doesn't answer my question." I frowned.

"It doesn't need to."


"Jimin! Hurry up! You don't have school today, let me use the bathroom!" V groaned the next morning.

"You guys don't even have to go to school until like 4! The last day of school was yesterday!" Jimin yelled back.

I rubbed my eyes. We had the last day of school yesterday. Today was the graduating party at 4.

The door slammed open, "Can you guys shut up for once?" Suga glared, "I'm trying to have my bedtime sleep which I hadn't got in a long time."

"Sorry!"

Jin and I opened our doors at the same time.

"Good morning." He smiled.

"Yeah." I walked out. He chuckled which reminds me of Seokjin's.

I turned around, "I've been wondering, is Jin really your real name?"

"No, that's just a nickname. My real name is-" Jin got cut off.

"Jimin you better get out, right now!" V bellowed. I turned my attention back to Jin.

"It's Kim S-"

"Just use the other bathroom!" Jimin shouted.

"I'll tell you later." Jin said.

"That would be great if it's a bit quieter." I said. So Jin was his nickname? What is they were the same person? I shook my head. That's not possible.


I got an envelope. This wasn't until the delivery man knocked on our house.

"Baekhee, can you go get it? I'm still getting ready." Rap Mon said. I scoffed. I don't think he needs that much time to get ready.

"Miss, there's a letter for you." I quickly thanked the mailman and opened it up.


Congratulations, Park Jimin has been accepted into
U-17's Athletic Sports Academy.


I gripped onto the paper. Jimin too? Now it's just Rap Mon and I. The two of us.

"What was it?" Rap Mon asked as I handed him the paper. Now it's really going to be quiet.

Jimin curiously looked over our shoulders. "I got accepted too?" He grinned excitedly, but it soon disappeared when he saw the sad looks on our faces.

"Oh, I'm sorry." Jimin softly said.

I don't know if I should feel sad that he's leaving, or feel happy for him.

"Jimin got accepted? Nice job." Jin said coming down the stairs.

"I'm gonna get ready." I said.


The other students were already there when we arrived. Jimin headed towards where the parents stay to watch.

"I'll be watching and cheering really loud." He shouted.

We got dressed into our graduation gowns. The audience settled down as a student called our names 1 by 1 after giving speeches.

"Jeon Jungkook...Jung Hoseok."

For each one, Jimin whooped loudly. By that time, I was already spacing out. My surname was 'Yoon' which was probably last.

"Kim Namjoom...Kim Seokjin.."

My heart skipped a beat. Did I hear that right? Kim Seokjin. I watched as Jin walked down from where he was standing and shook hands with the principle before taking his certificate.

I heard the 'Jin' at the end. But that doesn't necessarily mean that's him. I breathed out.

That while process took about 45 minutes until my name was called.

"Yoon Baekhee."

Jimin yelled causing families to look at him.

That part of the graduation was over after about an hour. We threw out hats up.

"Food!" Jin spun in the air landing perfectly on his feet. He dragged me far from the others.

"It feels so good to graduate after like how many years? 50 years of school." He said.

I laughed, "You're right."

"You know, I love you." Jin whispered. "What's your answer?"

I haven't had time to think about that yet.

I think I love him back but...

"I..don't know." I looked at him staring at me intently.

He ran a hand through his hair frustratedly, "It's either a yes or a no."

"It's not as easy as that!" I shouted getting angry. He doesn't understand, "You want to know who I like? It's someone who doesn't even exist! He's only in my dreams! We can never be together, do you know how hard that is?" Tears were streaming down.

Jin looked at me, "Someone from your dreams?"

"What's going on here?" Bts watched as I wiped away my tears. I shook my head, "Nothing."

They looked at me unconvinced, "Jin, we're gonna drive you home to get your luggage and then we'll go to the airport." Suga said and turned to me, "Are you sure you don't want to go?"

A few days ago, I had refused the offer of sending Jin to the airport. Jin looked upset afterwards which sent guilt to my stomach.

"Yeah. I'll stay here for a bit more." I said.

"Be careful of Jae Seok, if he's even here." Rap Mon said.

I nodded and walked away without saying 'bye' to Jin.


No One's POV

Bts reached their home as Jin went upstairs to get his luggage.

They were all sitting on the same couch in the living room, a serious look on their faces with their arms crossed.

"I'm ready." Jin said with his suitcase in one hand. He stopped when he saw the members sitting that way.

"Are you guys statues or what?"

"We know that you like Baekhee." Rap Mon said. "If you didn't already know, we like her too..even Suga."

Suga looked away.

"Since we are very good dongsaengs, we'll let you have her." V said, "But if you hurt her, your dead."

"She doesn't even like me." Jin bit his lip.

Jungkook smiled, "She does. I saw the look in her eyes when she stares at you."

"Thanks guys."

Jin wasn't totally convinced, but he was happy how the members were supporting him.


Baekhee's POV

There was nothing much to do at the party. That was when I decided to go home.

Is this what it feels like when they're not here? I walked into Jin's room.

He must've forgotten his wallet. I shouldn't be snooping around his stuff, but I opened his wallet anyways.

I gasped. My eyes widen as I dropped the wallet after looking at the drivers license.

Name: Kim Seokjin

Jin was really..Seokjin? I remember how their voices and looks were practically the same. Their presence when they hug me.

'I'm right in front of you, you just don't know it.'

Was this what he meant?

'I know him more than anyone else.'Because you're actually him.

I ran out of the house.

'It's still not too late.'
