If Dreams Could Tell

Baekhee's POV

"Jin Hyung's a tree!" V and J-hope burst out laughing.

All of us passed the audition besides J-hope and V.

"At least I actually have a role unlike some people." Jin crossed his arms. Apparently, we don't have enough props, so they chose Jin to be a tree.

"Rap Mon's one of the stage crew." Jungkook whispered to me, "I wonder what will happen."

"I can't believe Jae Seok is Romeo." Suga scrunched up his nose.

"If I recall correctly, Romeo dies." Jimin said putting his arms behind his head as we walked home.

"And your point is?" You said.

Jimin shrugged, "I'll have to read the script first to make sure."


Somewhere in te middle of the night....

No One's POV

"O...Romeo..O Romeo, wherefore... art thou, Romeo? Deny thy.. father.. and refuse thy name." You recited sleepily. The rest of Bts were slumped on the couch or on the floor.

"O Jiminie, O Jiminie, wherefore art thou Jiminie? Deny thy Suga and refuse thy name." V drooled as he slept.

"Yah V..that's not even your part." Jimin said falling asleep. "You don't even have a part...you're saying it wrong too."

You yawned as you practiced another scene. "What's in a n-" You barely got to finish before your eyes closed.

Jin watched as you fell asleep. He got up and placed a blanket over you.

"Good night." He whispered into your ear, pressing his lips to your temple and quickly pulling away.


School started but soon ended after 7 hours of lecture.

Jungkook walked beside you as he asks, "Are you nervous with Jae Seok being Romeo?"

"I hate the idea of it but I really have no choice." You said, "I want my photo back now and safe."

Jungkook laughed, "Just for the picture?"

"It's important!" You stuck your lip out.

You waited in the waiting room behind the stage (It's a big school) with the others, flipping through your script.

Your eyes stopped at one particular line.


Baekhee's POV

I scanned the group of people that walked in and showed a senior director I recognized as one of my classmates my script. "You never told me there was a kiss scene!"

She only glared, "You should be happy that's there! Out of everyone, the judges picked you as Juliet. Girls will want to be in your position right now!"

I looked at her, "Listen, I don't want to be Juliet but I have no choice." I said.

"Well then, was it because Jae Seok oppa was Romeo? You already have Jin oppa!" She looked at you up and down.

"I didn't even know he was Romeo!"

"Everyone in the school knew that!" She shot back.

"Time to rehearse!" The teacher advisor announced.

I shot the girl a glare as she shot one back.

"Guys, guys." Jimin stepped in between us. He pushed me to the stage.

"We're missing a tree!" The teacher yelled.

Jin walked up in a full tree costume, "Here." He said dully. The girl students giggled and whispered, "He's so cute."

I couldn't help but crack a smile.

We rehearsed up to the kiss scene much to my relief.

"We will continue tomorrow!" The teachers said. "Right after school at 2:45!"

"Ne!" The students said.

Jae Seok stopped me. "You won't get away from it." He smirked. What does he mean?

"The kiss scene will make you fall for me once again." He smiled at the thought of money. Is that all he thinks about now?

I snorted, "In your dreams."

I walked away but he pulled me back. "What do you want?" I asked harshly in a deep voice.

Jae Seok pulled me back and leaned in to whisper, "You want to know something? I'll kill your uncle after I get the money, but that won't stop you from falling for me."

I put your hand over my mouth. I tried pulling away from his grip on my wrist as my legs felt like jelly again.

He wouldn't. Would he?

"Let go of her." I turned to find Jin madly cracking his fist.

"Right he's your "boyfriend." He said. Jae Seok immediately let go and put his hands up, "Just kidding." He said to me

Is he really just kidding about the whole killing thing? My uncle lives in the U.S anyways. I'm not even that close to him anymore after I moved here.

Jin pulled me to his chest. "Never touch her again." He said. I hid my red face. He seemed more...manly.

He dragged me away.

I could hear Jae Seok from behind say, "I can't not touch her! I'm Romeo and she's Juliet! We'll have to touch a lot and even kiss in the play." He said cockily, "I'll be looking foreword to it!"

Jin scowled.


Jin's POV

A kiss scene with Baekhee and Jae Seok? No no no, not happening. She'll get out of this somehow. We'll help her.

I turned to my right to see Jae Seok whispering something to Baekhee. They were so close, his lips were right there and her lips was just a few cm away.

What was he doing to her? I stomped over to them.

I might be acting a bit childish now, but it's jealousy.

I was beyond jealous when Jae Seok was Romeo. Why didn't I pass? I was just a tree in the play, such a fun role.

"I actually rather die than kiss him." Baekhee said in the living room at home.

Good.

"We'll figure something out." V assured her.

"As for tomorrow, I have a plan." Suga said.
