If Dreams Could Tell

No One's POV

Rap Mon growled as the members began to stretch out their arms to protect you.

"Playing, protect the princess aren't you?" Jae Seok smirked.

"Why are you here?"

"Simple." Jae Seok pulled something out from behind his pocket. Bts clenched their fist in fear and nervousness. He slowly drew his hand out.

Your eyes widen as your instincts took over and you pushed the members away and lunged at Jae Seok.

"Baekhee, don't!" You could hear them yell. You didn't listen as you tried to grab the photograph gripped in Jae Seok's hand, but he only lift the photo higher.

Why, you're probably wondering is a photograph so important? It was the only photo and memory of your parents you had. They weren't your real parents, but they treated you as their own child.

"Why do you have that?" You asked in anger.

"I found it on the way here. The ajusshi and ajumma looked familiar, it only took a matter of time for me to realize it's your parents, let me rephrase that, deceased parents." He cockily smirked. "Aren't they your foster parents?"

You wanted to punch that arrogant face so badly, but you refrained from doing so.

"That's none of your business." Jin said walking up to you.

"Nor is it yours." Jae Seok said.

"It's my business, she's our friend!" Jin frowned.

"Jin stay out of this." You held your hand out to keep him from walking closer.

"Bu-"

You turned around and smiled, "I'll be fine."

Jin sighed, "Fine." He calmly said but inside, his heart was fluttering.

You turned your attention back to Jae Seok, "Give it back." You said sternly.

Jae Seok laughed, "You think I'm just gonna let it go that easily? No way."

You clenched my teeth, "What do you want?"

"Sign up for Juliet in the school play, if you don't pass the auditions, don't even think about getting the photo back." He said.

"Why would I do that?" You asked.

"If you don't you know what will happen." Jae Seok held the photo in a position where it looks like he was gonna rip it.

"Don't!" You quickly said.

He smirked.

"Fine! I'll do it!" You said.

"Good. I'll be waiting waiting to rip the photo if you don't pass." He bidded goodbye.

You sighed.

"Why Juliet?" Jimin asked, "Who's Romeo? Something sounds fishy." He said.

"Are we really going to let Baekhee do that?" Jungkook said. "If she signs up, I will too."

"As what? The servant to Juliet's nurse?" V snorted.

Jungkook shrugged, "Better than nothing." He said.


You arrived at school the next day, as you quickly signed up for the auditions.

"I was late to sign up." You said as you and Bts sat on the roof for lunch, "I won't be able to practice, the auditions are today."

"We signed up too, except for Suga Hyung." J-hope said. "Don't worry, you probably won't be as bad as us."

"Is that suppose to make me feel better? If you guys aren't here, what am I suppose to do?" You said.

J-hope just grinned, "The 6 of us are auditioning, at least one of us will pass."


Baekhee's POV

Jae Seok was spying on everywhere I go. Can't he be a little more less creepy?

I was afraid of him, but he hasn't done anything disturbing...yet.

Jae Seok fell into steps with me and puts his arms around me roughly.

"What do you want?" I asked coldly.

"The auditions are today after school." He smirked.

"I think I know, you don't have to remind me!" I said irritated.

"Yah! You slut! Don't talk to my oppa like that!" A freshman glared. Who was she to say that? I'm older than her.

I ignored her and walked away shoving his arms off.

I could hear him laugh behind, before he disappeared when I turned the corner.

I bumped into Jimin. "Are you ready?" He asks.

I nodded. We went to the back of the stage for the audition. We met up with the rest of Bts that were auditioning and picked a number from a basket.

"I'm first." V said then complained, "I don't even know how to act."

"I'm number 14." I said staring at the paper.

"Good luck V." Rap Mon waved as V got on stage. We watched backstage. He wasn't that bad, in fact he was pretty good.

"Nice." I gave him a high-five when he got off stage. He accepted it.

The others auditioned before me since they got numbers under 14.

Soon enough, it was my turn. The palms of my hand were sweating.

Jin noticed, "You're gonna do fine." He said and patted my back, "Do it for the photo."

It's funny how I'm doing this just for the photo.

I walked up stage, "Yoon Baekhee, class 3-1, senior." I said.

"You may start." The judge said.

I took a deep breath.


"You were amazing!" J-hope said as he pounced on you.

"Thanks...I guess." I was embarrassed with my acting. It just wasn't my thing.

We stayed longer after school to see the results.

After about 1 hour of waiting, the results were finally out. I breathe in and out.

Romeo and Juliet Play


Juliet: Yoon Baekhee Class: 3-1

Romeo: Kim Jae Seok Class: 3-1

I stopped reading there. Should I be happy that I passed? Or be suspicious that Jae Seok was Romeo?

Right then, Jae Seok walked by with a smirk.

"I'll be back." I said to the members and went after him.

The hallways were dark since the school was closing for the night. I felt a hand on my shoulder.

"Looking for me?"

"Why are you Romeo?" I asked in disapproval.

"Why? You don't want me to be?" He smirked when I didn't answer, "Have you ever wonder why I dated you 4 years ago?" He asks. Jae Seok didn't give me the chance to answer. "When I first met you, you were just like the other girls. Rich, pretty. But unfortunately those were just your looks. I was disappointed when I met your dad. He was just some regular business man."

"Say that again." I gritted my teeth ready to explode.

"I met your uncle after we broke up. My classmates say that your dad was a wealthy man, seems like your uncle was the rich one, not your dad. They heard wrong." He said. "I was only with you for your money. Now that I found out about your uncle, I want you back."

Just for the money?

"No way and falling for you again." I said calming down from the anger.

"You will. I will win your heart. I already have, from the play." Jae Seok said.

"And how exactly will that help?" I glared.

He only smirked in response. "Don't tell anyone, or else your photo will go bye bye." He said and snapped his back.

"Who's there?"

All we could hear were footsteps running away.
