6.00pm, home.
I reached home. ‘Mom? Dad?’ I called but no one answer.
It looks like mom and dad isn’t home yet. I directly went upstairs to my room. I’m sitting on my bed and text mom.

Hai mom, I’m already at home. Just asking if you and dad are going to go home late? Anyhow I’m going to cook dinner tonight. Is there anything that you want me to cook for you and dad?

Yes, looks like me and your dad going to be pretty late today. Need to help your father to settle lots of things in the bakery. Your father and I decide to order food for dinner and don’t worry honey, just cook for yourself okay? Love you honey, don’t forget to lock the doors.

Okay then, what should I cook for dinner tonight? I went down to the kitchen and open the fridge. Grab few ingredients to make potato salad, which is pretty simple and quick.
Vvvrrrrr ~Vvrrr~ *phone vibrates*message received.
I quickly grab my phone and read the message.

Hey it’s me Jackson. Make sure you save my number okay! I’m not asking XD. About the project..let’s meet up at the town library tomorrow around 9.00 am.

Okay see you tomorrow.

So I’m meeting up with Jackson tomorrow for the project. Hopefully it goes well so that we can only meet for a few days. I don’t want to be with him for the whole two weeks. I am really regretting this. Uuggh!

I went to my room after dinner and open my journal.

So many things had happened today. My encounters with those three guys could give me heart attacks. I really didn’t expect JB would intertwined my hand, Jinyoung would kissed my forehead and Jackson I don’t know what to say…what is really going on? Why are they acting this way? Aaaarrrgghhh!! It really bugged me. I think I need to settle this tomorrow but it’ll be embarrassing asking a guy about his feelings. What am I going to do? Ugh, I’m going to ask Jackson about his feelings towards me. Okay. Hwaiting!
~….~ I went to bed and sleep.

7.00 am, Sunday, bedroom.

I woke up and took a shower before I went down and eat breakfast. My tummy is grumbling and I went down. I saw mom and dad eat their breakfast.

‘Morning Andria, come eat breakfast with us.’ said dad.
‘Morning mom, morning dad.’ I replied, sitting in front of mom and dad.
‘Well my daughter woke up early today, having nightmare?’ mom chuckled.
‘What?’ I asked trying to understand what she meant.
‘Well honey it’s Sunday. Aren’t you supposed to be sleeping still?’ said mom.
‘Oh, I forgot to tell you that I’m going to the town library around 9.00 am. I have a project to be done with my project partner.’ I explained.
‘Okay, now I understand why.’ Mom smiled at me.

After breakfast I went back to my room and packed my bag with all the things that I need to bring. I grabbed my phone and check just in case Jackson ever called or message while I was down stairs. Nope. No messages or calls. I look at the time, it’s 8.30. Okay better get going.

‘Bye mom, bye dad. I’m going now, see you later.’ sending kisses to my parents.

They waved and smile.

I get in my car and start the ignition. I directly go the town library.

9.00 am, town library.

‘Finally.’ I said while standing in front on the library. I think I better get inside.
I went inside and trying to find Jackson. I keep on searching for a guy with a snapback but I can’t find him. Where is he? I took out my phone and text him.

Hey Jackson where are you? I’m in the library looking for you.

I’m waiting for him to text back. I feel someone grabbed my shoulder and turn me around. I found Jackson.

‘Hey, can’t you see me? I’m sitting right here.’ he whispered and smirked. He points the table behind me.

He looks totally different from the ‘Jackson’ that I know. He usually wears snap back, baggy t-shirt, ripped jeans and sneakers. But today he looked unusually fine. Ehem..no snap back, pushed back hair, he wears a plain black jumper, navy blue jeans and copper brown boots. He also wears glasses. His unusual looks make me want to stare at him even more. I can say he does look handsome this way. I’m nodding my head while looking at him from top to bottom.

‘Andria, am I that handsome? I don’t mind if we keep on staring at each other like this but it’s better for us to sit down.’ he hold my shoulder with both of his hands and smiled. He grabbed my hand and brought me to the study table.

‘Sorry Jackson I didn’t see you, well because you look pretty different today and I barely could recognize you.’ I apologized.

‘You mean handsomely different.’ He smiled and winked.

My heart beats fast and I know that my face would likely turn red by now.

‘Hahaha~ no no, different as in a bit weird..haa~’ I replied trying to deny.
He poked my cheek and smiles. ‘THIS doesn’t lie, well it shows.’

‘Ahem! Okay tell me what’s the project is all about?’ trying to change the ‘topic’.
He chuckled and pinched my cheeks. Ouch! I rubbed my cheeks.

‘Well I think you know what’s the project is about.’ he took out his notes and show it to me.

‘Unfortunately Jackson, I don’t. Thanks to ‘a certain someone’ I lost my focus during class.’ I complained.

A sudden quiet moment between the both of us, it made me turned and looked at Jackson. He smiles and looking straight through my eyes as if he tried to ‘read’ me.

‘Yah Jackson what are you doing? Let’s begin with the project already.’ I whispered.

‘Oh sorry, I was distracted. Okay where were we? It’s about the project isn’t it?’ he scratches the back of his neck

‘Yes.’ feel annoyed.

We spent 4 hours doing some research and setting up plans for the project. It’s 1 pm. I’m starving. My tummy is growling.

‘Hey Andria, Let’s go grab some lunch. I’m hungry.’ Jackson pouts.

‘It’s okay Jackson; you can go get your lunch. I’m fine. I’ll be staying here and try to do more research.’ I replied. I don’t want to eat lunch with him. He’s going to be cheesy with me again.

‘I’m not asking.’ He grabs my hand and carries my bag. He grips my hand so tight that it’s hardly for me to pull it back. We went out from the library and went into his car. I really want to get out and I turn around with my hand on the doorknob.

‘Don’t even think about it. Andria please listen, we are just going to get some lunch and not more than that. Okay?’ he begs.

‘Okay, okay.’ I rolled my eyes.

‘Now, you need to be safe.’ he comes to my side and fastens my seat belt for me.

He drove and stopped at a restaurant. We came out and take our seat near the window. I look around the restaurant. The restaurant isn’t that fancy but it has a cottage vibe to it. I feel calm. It really is a nice place to relax. I smiled.

‘This place is nice isn’t it? I like this place so much. Okay let’s choose something to eat.’ said Jackson.

I nodded. I choose hamburger and iced lemon tea for lunch. Jackson ordered cheese burger and coke. There is awkward silence between us. I decided to ask Jackson something.

‘Hey Jackson, can I ask you something?’ I asked.

‘Ask something? Sure I guess. What is it?’ Jackson looked at me seriously.

‘Uumm..why are you being s-so nice to me? We barely k-know each other.’ I stuttered.

‘It’s to know you better.’ He said while playing with his phone.

‘Huh? What?’ I scratched my head asking for his explanations.

‘You really want to know why?’ he asked.

‘I think, yes.’ I replied.

‘Look,..’ he rubbed his neck.

‘Y-you, uh..i want to be your friend. Since you are close with JB, I’m quite jealous. So I try to get closer to you.’ He pouts.

‘You want to be friends with me?’ I asked if he is serious about it.

‘Yup.’ He replied and acts cute in front of me.

I laughed. And I thought he have feelings for me or something. He is cute. The wild and sexy Jackson is jealous of JB and me being friends. I pinched his cheek.

‘Haha, now I understand. Hai chingu!’ I waved my hand.

‘Hai chingu!’ he waved back.

‘Why you suddenly asked me that question?’ he looked clueless.
My heart beats fast.

‘Well, it’s because I feel weird all of the sudden when you being cheesy and nice to me. I thought..’ I paused. It’s hard to even talk about it. What should I say?

‘You thought that I like you.’ Jackson said bluntly.

I’m shocked. He knew what’s in my head. I blushed and nodded. The situation turned quiet. I looked at Jackson. He stares at me without blinking or a smile on his lips. Dang it! Did I say something wrong?

‘HAHAHAHAHA! Andria you are funny. Seriously you thought that I like you? I mean I do like you but not more than a friend. So relax.’ he taps my hand.

‘Yah! What’s up with that serious face of yours just now? I thought I said something wrong.’ I punched his arms.

‘Yah! That hurts. Hey I’m just playing with you.’ He continues with his hyena laugh.

Not long after the conversation, our food arrived. We eat and joke around. I feel comfortable around him now that he’s being honest with me. I can feel that we can be close buddy. We spend hours at the restaurant talking and it’s already 5 pm.

‘Yah! It’s already 5 pm. The project?! What are we going to do?’ I panicked.

‘Really? Okay let’s meet up after class tomorrow. I’ll text you again tonight.’ He stands and pays the bill.

I followed him from behind. We went outside towards his car. He send me back to the library to get my car. We arrived at the library within 10 minutes. I went to my car and waved at Jackson to say goodbye. He lazily waved back at me. One thing I found weird about is that Jackson keeps on staring at me. I smiled at him and he smile back in respond.

‘Jackson I’m going. Bye.’ I entered my car and start my car’s engine.

I heard foot step going towards me. I turn to my side and found Jackson standing next to my car’s door. I look him in the eyes and asked him if he need something. He shook his head and smile. I smile back. And he eventually went back to his car and went home. It left me question if he’s okay.

Jackson’s POV

It feels nice to spend time with Andria today. I find her so cute that I want to hug her. I feel relax and excited when I’m with her.

We decided to went back home. I need to bring Andria fetch her car first. We finally arrived at the town library. It felt hard to say goodbye to Andria. I don’t know why I feel sad all of the sudden. I want to spend time with Andria more than anything. I want to stop her from going home right now.

‘Stop her Jackson! Stop her!’ said the voice in my head. I managed to walk towards her but I can’t seem to say a word to Andria. I stood next to Andria and look at her.

Andria turned and looks at me. Our eyes met. I froze. Andria asked me if I need something. ‘Yes Andria, don’t go home yet please. Please spend more time with me!’ but I can only said it in my head. My mouth froze and I feel numb. I feel disappointed because I can’t say what I need to and I just shook my head to say no.

We both went home eventually and the day ends just like that.

I went to my room as I arrived home. I lay on my bed and thinking if I should text Andria or not. Argh! I need to do this. At least have a little conversation with her. I grab my phone and text her.

Hey, meet me tomorrow at the campus’s library around 4pm. I think we need to finish up the project. By the way, good night and have a sweet dream. Bye~ J

It is nerve wrecking as I wait for Andria to reply my text. Ding! I checked my phone.

I feel an adrenaline rush through my vein and jump on my bed. Yes! yes! I did it! She replied my text~ Oh I’m feeling super dang happy right now. I can go to sleep in peace hahaha. I can’t wait until tomorrow.


Andria’s POV

6.00 pm, home.

Looks like mom and dad is still in the bakery. I’m not hungry yet so I just grab some fruit to munch. I went to my room. I took a shower and get ready for bed. I’m about to sleep that I receive a text from Jackson.

Hey, meet me tomorrow at the campus’s library around 4pm. I think we need to finish up the project. By the way, good night and have a sweet dream. Bye~ J
