The journal of an Empty Soul

We did a discussion about the assignment and two hours has passed.

‘Guys I think I need to go to the restroom for a while.’ JB quickly ran to the restroom.

There is awkward silence between me and Mark. I look at Mark. He really is focus with his work. He really is handsome. He has sexy jaw line, red plump lips and has good sense of style too.

‘If you keep on staring at me like that you might make a hole in my face.’ said Mark while looking at me.

I blushed and quickly turn away from him. I covered my face to prevent Mark from seeing it turn strawberry red.

Mark POV

JB went to the restroom and left me with Andria. This is a bit awkward and I’m not even close with Andria yet. What am I going to do? I breathe heavily and start sweating in this well-air conditioned library. I pinched my thigh and try to get myself together. Whatever! Just focus on my assignment.

I realized that Andria is staring at me right now. She is checking me out. My heart beats fast. She better stop.

‘If you keep on staring at me like that you might make a hole in my face.’ telling Andria while looking at her.

She looked shock and I can see an instant blush on her face. She tries to cover her face from me seeing her blushing. She’s cute. Now I think I can understand what JB had said earlier in the lecture room. Her chubby cheeks glow into strawberry red. It makes me want to touch it. What?! I got to be kidding to myself. Okay, Mark control yourself! But I can’t. I move and sit next to her.

‘Hey, are you okay? Your face is red.’ I cupped her chubby cheeks and I can feel warmth. It feels nice. I want to stay like this.

She blushes even more. What the heck am I doing?

‘Well, well what do we have here? Hyung I don’t know you have that soft side of you.’ I turned and saw JB winked and smirked. I quickly jump from my seat and move back where I sit before.

‘Wha..what soft side? Ehem. Nothing happened here JB so calm down will you and lets continue our work.’ gulped and tried to calm down.

‘Okay if that’s what you said.’ JB winked at me again and sit next to me.

I look at Andria. Her face is still slightly red.

JB POV

I went back to the library after I’m done with my business and I saw Mark cupping Andria’s chubby cheeks. Andria is red like a damn strawberry. What the heck is Mark doing? Is he flirting with Andria? I bet there is something between Mark and Andria. I better get digging.

‘Well, well what do we have here? Hyung I don’t know you have that soft side of you.’ I winked and smirked at Mark. I saw Mark jumped from his seat and move back to his original seat.

‘Wha..what soft side? Ehem. Nothing happened here JB so calm down will you and lets continue our work.’ said Mark panicking.

‘Okay, okay.’ I winked at Mark again and sit next to him.

Something really fishy going on between Mark and Andria. I will keep on digging.

Andria POV

Oh my god Andria what did you do? You are making yourself embarrass right now
and it’s not good. Mark will think weird about you. I need to quickly hide my face. Oh boy, Mark move and gets closer to me. Is he going to scold me or bully or might do something that I can’t think of right now? I want to walk away but I’m too nervous to do that right now.

I look at him, to see what he is trying to do.

He cupped my face! WHAT! I blush even more. My body is heating up and it makes me feel dizzy. I feel my whole body is numb. He just keeps on looking at me and caressing my cheeks.

Not long after JB came, Mark went back to his original seat. JB have a conversation with Mark which I can’t hear it clearly. JB smiles at both of us. I went back to my assignment and try to focus. But after what happen between me and Mark, I hardly can focus on my work. I really want to get out of this place and go back home.
