[7PM] Lia was discharged from the hospital. Dani and Dyanna took her home. Dyanna took the rest of the night off from work to take care of Lia and so did Dani as well.
A few weeks went by. Dani still haven’t told Max anything about Paris. Max still wondered what Dani wanted to tell him and he started to have feelings for her. It was Thanksgiving Eve and everyone had the rest of the weekend off for the holidays. Max’s older sister (Miya, 34) comes to NYC to visit for the Thanksgiving and Christmas with her family. Miya comes to town with her husband (Jayden), 3 kids (Tyler 9, Charlotte 7, Sophie 6). Max hasn't seen Miya in 2 years because she lives in Canada where she works. He also hasn't seen his nieces and nephews too. So while Dyanna took Lia out for grocery shopping while Dani stayed home to do some cleanup around the apartment. While Dani was going back and forth cleaning around, she heard someone rang the doorbell. She went to get it and saw a random lady at her door.
Dani (*smiles & says) : hi there.
Miya (*smiles & says) : hi. i’m Miya. I live next door.
Dani (*asks) : your Miss Williams daughter that's in town for the holidays ?
Miya : oh no. I live with Max Weller, I'm his older sister who's visiting for the holidays.
Dani : oh, I'm sorry i mistaken you for someone else.
Dani : It's just that Miss Williams daughter hasn't been in town recently.
Miya : oh it's okay. i came over here to ask for something.
Dani (*asks in curiosity) : what is it ?
Miya : i went to the market earlier and i forgot to buy some parsley.
Miya : i didn't realize it until i got back to the apartment while putting away the groceries.
Dani (*smiles & says) : come on in and make yourselves at home. I'll go get it for you.
Dani opens the door wide for Miya to come inside while she goes into the kitchen to get the parsley. Miya came inside and closed the door behind her. She was looking around the living room to see what's it like. As Dani was getting the parsley from the refrigerator, she asked Miya…
Dani (*asks) : so you're in town for the holidays?
Miya : yeah, with my husband and three kids.
Dani : wow. That's great.
Dani comes out from the kitchen and to Miya handing her the parsley. Miya takes it and they began to talk a little more.
Miya : thanks.
Miya : i realized that you don't have any photos of your parents.
Dani : me and my sister lost our parents and youngest sister in an accident years ago.
Dani : so it's just me, my older sister Dyanna, and her daughter who lives here.
Miya : i'm so sorry to hear that.
Dani : it's okay.
Miya : i usually make holiday dinner for the family every year.
Miya : And this year, im making it at Max’s apartment.
Miya : i would love it you, your sister, and your niece came to join us.
Dani : i wouldn't want to bother Max. i know how he is with these kinds of things.
Miya : it's okay. Im his older sister and i’ll tell him about the invitation.
Dani : okay, thank you.
Dani : you and your family are invited to the thanksgiving party.
Dani : me and Dyanna host it every year for the entire apartment building. Everyone’s invited.
Miya : we will, thank you. I didn't catch your name.
Dani : Dani Gerni.
Miya : Dani, I like that name. One name I will definitely remember.
Miya : Anyways, I'll see you guys tonight at dinner.
Dani : alright. It was nice meeting you Miya.
Miya: you too.
Dani : bye.
Dani smiled and escorted Miya out. She went back to cleaning up the apartment. When Miya came back, Max was in the living room resting cause he just got back from the gym. He walked over to Miya where she began to cook. He was curious to where she went just now.
Max (*asks) : where did you go?
Miya : I went next door to borrow some parsley.
Max (*asks) : you went over to Miss Williams ?
Miya : nope. Dani.
Max (*says in a low tone) : oh.
Miya (*asks) : what was that ?
Max : nothing.
Miya : i just invited Dani and her little family over for dinner tonight.
Max (*asks) : thanksgiving dinner ?
Miya (*asks) : what other dinner ?
Max : you didn’t have to invite her.
Miya : i know you don’t like it when i invite random people over but i wanted to.
Miya : i feel so bad for her family. It's only her, her older sister, and niece.
Miya : and besides, i like her a lot.
Max : i know you like people but you didn't have to go this far.
Miya : i had to.
Miya : it's strange..
Max (*asks) : what is ?
Miya : she seems afraid of you Max. like you have the ability to change her or something.
Max : i'm usually known to have that effect on people.

Max : if Dani is coming here than i won't be here.

Miya (*looks at Max & says) : you have feelings for her.
Max (*says in denial) : no i don't.

Miya : Dani is coming no matter what you say and you are going to be here if you like it or not.
