Couple hours later, Dani got a phone call from Hannah to speak to her about something in her office. So Dani went to meet Hannah in her office right away.
Dani (*asks) : you wanted to talk to me ?
Hannah : yes.
Hannah : it’s been great having you around working here for the last few years.
Hannah : and i think its time.
Dani (*shock to hear that she’s getting fired & asks) : am i getting fired ?
Dani (*says as she panics) : if it’s something i did in the past, i’m really sorry.
Hannah : im not firing you. i’m offering you a better job here at the company.
Dani : i don’t understand Mrs. Kim.
Hannah : i want you to start working for me as one of the top designers here
Hannah : and create your own line.
Dani (*asks) : really ??
Hannah : yes. i’ve seen your designs when you left them on your desk the other day.
Hannah : and also your work for the music video.
Hannah : you’re really talented and it’ll go to waste if you don’t put it on the market.
Dani : there is something i have to tell you and it’s really important.
Hannah (*asks) : what is it ?
Dani : when i was in London and Paris for fashion week, someone had offered me a job.
Dani : it's a job in Paris, France.
Hannah (*asks) : who offered you this job ?
Dani : the CEO and chairman of Louis Vuitton, Michael Burke.
Dani : he wanted me to spend 4 to 5 years in Paris to work as a designer for his company.
Hannah (*asks) : what do you want to do ?
Dani : i decided to take the job in Paris if that's okay with you
Dani : and i wanted to talk to you about it.
Hannah (*asks) : i’ll support you in whatever decision you make.
Dani : i'm really flattered that you had offered me a job here but i'm sorry i can't take it.
Dani : i decide to take a different route in this.
Hannah : i'm happy for you too.
Hannah : Paris is a beautiful place to work Dani. you should go and live your dream.
Dani (*asks) : are you sure ?
Hannah : of course.
Hannah (*asks) : do you want to hear a story ?
Dani : okay.
Hannah : before starting this business years ago,
Hannah : i was offered the same job in Paris from Michael Burke.
Hannah : that was just a couple days before i opened up this place.
Hannah : this business was and is important to me so i took a different route.
Hannah : i turned down the offer Michael Burke told me and did this instead.
Dani (*asks) : do you regret making that decision ?
Hannah : not at all. So you go and do whatever you need to do in Paris.
Hannah : we’ll be fine here taking good care of the company.
Dani : okay. Thank you for understand.
Hannah : of course. You are always welcome back here, you know that.
Dani (*smiles & says) : i know.
Dani : thank you for everything these past couple of years.
Hannah : it was an honor to have you here.
Dani : once, i finish Yenny Kim’s debut promotion outfits, i’ll give you my resignation letter.
Hannah : take all the time you need.
Dani : thank you.
Dani took a walk around the city and stopped in front of Joyous Entertainment Company to make a phone call on her cellphone.
Michael Burke : this is Michael Burke.
Dani : Hi Mr. Burke. This is Dani Gerni, we talked at the fashion week after party.
Michael Burke : yes, i remember.
Dani : i want to take that offer of going to Paris and working for your company.
Michael Burke : good. I will send you further details regarding the flight here.
Michael Burke : i will also have a house ready for you here to live in the meantime
Michael Burke : before you are stable.
Dani : thank you so much.
Michael Burke : no, thank you for accepting this job offer.
Dani : you're welcome.
Michael Burke : i’ll send you details on the flight and where you’ll be staying in Paris.
Dani : okay.
Michael Burke : see you soon.
Dani : okay, bye.
Michael Burke : bye.
Dani and Michael Burke hung up the phone together. Dani went into the building to see Max and talk to him. She asked Naomi to see if Max was in his office at the front desk.
Naomi : hey Dani.
Dani : hey.
Naomi (*asks) : what can i do for you today ?
Dani : i wanted to talk to Max. (*asks) is he in his office right now ?
Naomi : let me call him.
Dani : okay.
Naomi calls Max on her desk phone and he gives her the approval to let Dani in.
Naomi : you can go into his office now. He’s in there.
Dani : thanks Naomi.
Dani walked into Max’s office to talk to him.
Max (*asks) : you wanted to talk to me ?
Dani : yeah.
Max (*asks) : what is this about ?
Dani : i wanted to let you know that.....
Right then, Dani’s cellphone rang and interrupted. She took it out and answered it.
Dani (*answers her phone) : hello ?
Dyanna : Dani.
Dani (*asks) : what's wrong Dyanna ?
Dyanna : Lia was admitted to the hospital during school hours.
Dyanna : she had food poisoning at school.
Dani : oh my goodness. I’ll be right there Dyanna.
Dani : don't worry, everything will be okay. I'm coming.
Dyanna : i’ll see you there.
Dani : alright, bye.
Dani hanged up the phone and told Max…
Dani : i’ll talk to you later. I have to go.
Max (*asks) : what happened ?
Dani : Lia was admitted to the hospital due to food poisoning.
Max : i’ll go with you to see her.
Dani : thanks Max.
Max stood up and walked out of the building with Dani. They went to the hospital right away to see Lia who was resting on her bed. Dani took some time sitting beside Lia near the bed. Max stood there by the window looking at Dani and Lia. Then after a while, Dyanna came into the room to talk to Dani which brought them outside to talk for a little while. Max just stayed in the room to look out for Lia.
Dani : Dyanna.
Dyanna : i'm so glad you're here.
Dani (*asks) : is Lia going to be okay now ? did you give her medications ?
Dyanna : yeah, everything's okay. She’s going to be fine.
Dani : that's a relief.
Max was wondering what was taking so long for Dani and Dyanna to talk so he quietly went out to hid on the side of the wall listening to them talk. He was surprised to hear what they were talking about.
Dyanna (*asks) : so did you tell Hannah about Paris yet ?
Dani : well, she offered me a job at the company as one of the top designers here.
Dyanna : shocking. (*asks) and you said that you're going to Paris right ?
Dani : i told her that and she was okay with it.
Dani : she told me to go for my dreams.
Dyanna : that's great. (*asks) what about Max ?
Dani (*whispers) : i was going to tell him
Dani : but you called me to come here so i didn't get a chance to.
Dyanna (*whispers) : you have to tell him sooner or later.
Dani : i know. I decided to go to Paris for the job Dee. i think it's the right thing to do.
Dyanna : i'm proud of you Dani. i want this for you too.
Dani : thanks.
Max wondered what Dani was going to tell him so he just went back to his position in the room. Dyanna went back to work and Dani went into the room to see how Lia’s doing. Lia was still resting on her bed.
Dani (*asks) : you wanted to talk to me ?
Hannah : yes.
