Please Don't Get Too Friendly

As soon as we arrived, I headed straight to the kitchen to prepare the meal I would make them. I forbade the three guys to enter the room as I closed the glassed doors. They pouted while looking at me with puppy eyes and I sighed.

"Guys, you're going to disturb me!" I tried to resonate.

"But we want to see you cooking at least once!" whined Baekhyun, with an agreeing Sehun behind him.

I stood firm and walked away to resume my research on the perfect recipe to feed nine active guys, not to mention that they eat as much as they train. I ran my hand through my hair and opened my phone. 'Recipe to serve 10 people-' No, that won't do. They eat so much, I have to make for at least 15 people, if I want nothing left. 'Recipe for 15 people'. Many tasty-looking recipes came up but nothing caught my eyes, until I saw a simple one that looked like it would be appreciated by everyone. It was called 'Kalbi', a Korean barbequed beef that only took 28 minutes to be cooked, if I took out the inactive part that lasted 4 hours. Let's not do it. I looked for the consisting ingredients and found everything I needed. I began cooking right away and quickly, the good smell of the food came up and filled the room. I inhaled repeatedly while cooking everything at the best of my abilities. After exactly 28 minutes, I tried the taste of my concoction and, although it was really hot, it tasted great. I glanced at the food, pleased, and went into the living room, where I noticed everyone had come back home.

"Is it ready now? Can we go in?" urged the impatient Baekhyun.

I chuckles and smiled brightly at them.

"The food is served," I said gently as I mimicked a maid as I bowed deeply.

They laughed and we all moved to the kitchen. As soon as they saw the food, they quickly went to it and exclamations went up.

"Wow, this is really amazing Amy! It looks so good!"

"We have to eat it now, you know, before it gets too cold," I giggled with joy as I pushes through them and took the plate in my hands. "Go get seated, I'll bring it. Stop staring already!"

They all went to the table and sat down. I lifted the heavy plate and wobbled to the table. Crap. It's really heavy. I won't drop it, will I? I nervously walked and I suddenly felt the plate lift. My head snapped up and I saw Chanyeol lifting the plate from my hands.

"I'll take it. We din't want any accidents, do we?" he grinned down at me.

I shook my head and went to the last place left, that would probably had been their manager's. We all served ourselves and I glanced at all of them, hoping they would like what I made. They all exclaimed their admiration once again as they stuffed more and more food in their already full mouths.

"Hey, this is really really good Amy!" said Chanyeol, Baekhyun and Chen at the same time.

I laughed and thanked them. Wow, as expected of the Beagle Line. They spoke at the exact same time! I'd never seen in my entire life, except for Sasha and me. We all continued to eat and talk happily, not caring about the actual situation at hand, until Suho put his chopsticks down and looked at me.

"Say, Amy. How did it go, this morning? With the CEO?"

Everyone quieted down, anticipating my answer.

"That... I showed him the recording... He told us he had kind of predicted it, because he knew Jung Ah unnie before, and my parents," I revealed nervously.

"He knew your parents as well? How?" the leader asked curiously.

I explained everything the CEO had told me, being sometimes interrupted by exclamations of surprise. At the end, they were all staring at me, unsure of what to say. It was once again the diplomatic leader who spoke up.

"So what is he going to do now?"

"I don't know. He said he was going to call me once he had decided. I just hope he won't delay our debut, or else my members are going to hate me."

"Yeah, that's for sure," added Baekhyun before getting smacked behind the head by Xiumin next to him.

"And did he agree to let you stay here?" asked gently Lay.

"Well... He didn't say anything about it, so I guess it's fine. Right?"

They all nodded and we got up to clean everything. Once we were finished, we all went to the living room to decide what would happen next.

"Okay," said Suho. "Guys, as you know, Amy is going to sleep with one of us tonight. No, Sehun, I don't mean it in that way, please stop being perverted. And since you're that way, she definitely won't be in the same room as you tonight. So now, who's willing to welcome her in their room?"

All the guys raised their hands, except for the pouting maknae at the back.

"This is going to be hard," the leader sighed. "Okay. Who has a room fit to welcome her?"

All the guys hesitated, but Xiumin, Lay, Chanyeol and Baekhyun finally raised their hands.

"And who is used to having a girl this near them?"

Only Chanyeol and Xiumin raised their hnds this time. Most probably because they both have a sister. But why didn't Kai raise his hand then? Oh right, he just said that his room is messy.

"Well then, the choice is yours, Amy. Who do you not mind the most?"

My first instinct would have been to say Chanyeol, but then again, because of what I felt for him, I felt awkward saying that I wanted to sleep in his room. On the other side, as much as Xiumin oppa was nice, I felt even more awkward to choose him, as we hadn't had much time to get closer. Before I could talk, the older member spoke up.

"Actually, as I don't know Amy very well, I don't think she would feel at ease, sleeping in the same bed as me."

We all looked at him and I blushed, thanking him. He winked at me and we all went upstairs to prepare ourselves to go to bed. I felt my heart beat faster and faster as the time flew by. Finally, we all left to our rooms and I entered Chanyeol's room along with him. I could feel the awkwardness build up between us and I went to sit on the bed. He went on the other side and he closed the lights.

"Goodnight, Amy."

"Goodnight, Chanyeol," I replied back.

We stayed silent for a moment before he opened the lights again. I turned to him and saw he was looking straight at me. Wh-what? Oh my! He's not going to kiss me, is he?

"How come you didn't add 'oppa'?"

I stared back at him, completely taken aback. What? I realised that I hadn't added the suffix and I blushed.

"So-sorry. Oppa."

He laughed and closed the lights again. Right before I could fall asleep, he opened the lights again and I jolted back in surprise.

"Hey, what's your biggest dream?" he asked me.

"My..."

I thought for a while.

"I want to be worthy of the public," I said gently. And of you."You want to be worthy if the public? What the heck does that mean?" he laughed.

"Don't laugh!" I pouted as I hit him soflty. "I meant that... I feel like, even if I debut and make it big, it won't have been because of my talent. That it would be because of the agency's popularity and renown."

"Oh, I see. Well, let me tell you that. There's no way you won't make it big, and when you do, it'll be because you deserve it and the public will adore you. Trust me on this."

I looked at him and smiled.

"Thanks, Chanyeol... oppa."

We both giggled at my hesitation and went silent for a while. But this time, he didn't close the lights.

"What's yours?" I asked him after a while.

"Mine? Hm... I actually have two. The first one? Everyone knows about it. I want one of my compositions to be chosen as a title song for one of our future albums."

"Then what's the second one?"

"I want to be able to stay with the person I love, without having anyone or anything suffer from it. I know, it's kind of a girlish dream, but I really wish for that."

I felt my heartbeat once again go up and my breath became quick and uneven.

"Do you have a person like that?" I asked, my voice becoming a whisper.

He turned to me and my heart skipped a beat.

"What do you think?" he asked, his voice becoming husky.

"I... i think that... We should go to sleep," I tries to escape by turning around.

Unfortunately for me, he grabbed my waist and turned me around again, making sure I wouldn't resist by climbing on my legs and pinning my arms next to my head. But that wasn't necessary because I was already petrified by his gaze.

"Answer me. Do you think I have someone like that?" he repeated.

I gulped and stared back at him, beginning to regret what I was going to say. Am I really that bold? Well, there is only one way to find out.

"If you do, then... I-I wish that I would be the one," I stuttered nervously.

He looked down at me, his eyes wide as golf balls. Then, he chuckled and his face came closer to mine.

"As you wish," he whispered before his lips came sweetly down on mine.

I kissed him back as softly, my heart exploding like fireworks. Chanyeol likes me back? For real? Am I allowed to feel this happy? Please don't tell me this is a dream. At least, don't wake me from it. Suddenly, a frightening thought came upon me and I drew back.

"Aren't we forbidden... To go out with each other?" I asked, breathless.

"If no one knows, isn't it okay?" he smirked back at me before going for another round of sweet kisses, which I accepted gladly.

That night became one of my most wonderful memories, but the happiness I felt was quickly gone the next day.
