Nita's POV

Knock*Knock*Knock*Knock*
"Alright I'm coming!! Hold on a sec!!" Nita yelled at the door. Whoever it was didn't know she was in the bathroom, but the least they could do was put some pause between the knocks.
It was only Sunday. She was still looking for a job, but thanks to the help of new friend she was able to find a place to stay. The next thing on her to-do list was to find a job.
"Oh, it's you. I thought you had some photoshoots or something today." Nita said, while undoing the towel turban she had on her head. She just gotten dressed from her shower when she had heard the knocking.
"No, that's tomorrow. You can come if you like, I could come and pick you up," Siwon said. Nita looked at him, while rubbing her hair with the already, soaked towel, "You think I could find some work there, like real work, not a part time job."
"I talked to the CEO of SM, if you want a job there, you could be an assistant manager," he said, with his signature one eye brow raised look, "assistant manager to Super Junior, how does that sound?"
Nita smiled, she appreciated the thought, but she always had a tendency to look to the future. She would always predict what might happen in the future.
"It could be a problem," she said, already thinking about the outcome.
"How so?" Siwon asked, looking curious.
"If anyone finds out about you helping me out, it would create a scandal. We both know the truth, but people could start talking that Choi Siwon has a girl on the side, who he wants to keep close," Nita was now, putting some chai on the stove, part of her morning routine.
"So, I don't care, we're friends and I'm helping out a friend. I don't see the trouble in that," Siwon continues, while watching her move around in the kitchen.
"You should care, it's your career. I appreciate the thought, and I'm grateful for your help, but I've told you that I will pay you back for everything. I don't want to be the cause of your superstar demise. You want some chai?" Nita finished, all
the while going to the fridge for some milk.
"Sure, you make good chai, so if you don't want to work at SM, then where are you going to start looking?" Siwon said, while reaching for two mugs in the cabinet.
"I've sent in resumes and applications to a bunch of entertainment companies. I received one reply already." Nita grabbed the mugs from him and started looking for a sieve to pour the chai through.
With a questioning look, Siwon asked, "What companies? And what's this about a reply from one?"
Nita looked up at him smiling, handed him his mug and made her way to the bar stool that bordered her kitchen, "I've applied to some companies for a job, the one I got a reply from came in on Friday, it was from SM Entertainment, letting me know that I did not get the job."
Siwon stood in front of her, expression similar to that of a hurt puppy, "You could have called and told me, I would have helped you out. Wait a minute, what other companies have you applied at?"
Nita removed herself from her seat and walked to the table in front of the sectional sofa, grabbing a large manila envelope, she made her way back to the bar where Siwon was standing and set the envelope in front of him. Siwon just raised one eyebrow. She understood why, the envelope was thick. Sighing, she said, "I prefer to make my own space, I like to prove myself to people, it was one of the reasons why I didn't ask for your help. You've helped me plenty, I need to do this on my own. I don't want to be known as someone who didn't earn their way in."
"I understand that part, but I know people, and I could be a good reference," Siwon, set his mug on the counter and opened the envelope, " Whoa, that's a lot of paperwork. What's this? FNC Entertainment? J. Tune Camp? JYP Entertainment? Of course, I understand why SM Entertainment is here, but these last two?! TS Entertainment? And YG Entertainment? I still think you would be a good fit for our company?" Siwon says, taking a sip from his mug.
"Alright, alright, don't diss my choices, each of the companies I've picked has a group that I like. On the off chance that I get hired, there's a small probability of meeting my favorite idols." Nita couldn't help but smile at the thought, her inter-fan-girl smiling broadly at the thought, "I bet you couldn't guess who my favorite idols are."
"I'll take that bet, but what are the stakes?" Siwon asks getting in her face to accept the challenge.
"Okay, how about I make dinner however many times you answer correctly, and you can invite whoever you want to said dinner. But if I win, and you don't get more than three, then no more of this 'I can help you' crap. Deal?" Nita says, sticking her hand out for the deal.
Taking her hand in a firm grip, Siwon smiled broadly, either way it was win-win for him, he got to spend more time with her and he got the chance to get to know her a little better, "Deal, so let's start with the first company. FNC Entertainment. You're a CNBlue fan. . . . . Judging from the smile on your face, you have crush on all four them. . . . . but you like two in particular. . . . . let me guess, Jung Yong-hwa and Kang Min-hyuk?"
Nita was clearly surprised, he was right, on all counts, even pegged the order for favorites, "You're right, I do like all four members, but Yong-hwa and Min-hyuk are my favorites. That's six dinners already."
"Jamkkan, I was thinking a dinner per person, how did you count six?" Siwon asked.
"You said I have a crush on all four, that was right so that gives you four dinners, then you picked my favorites, that's two more dinners. If you want we can just do the favorites." Nita said, finishing off her mug of chai.
"Yea, let's do that, just the favorites. So I have two dinners down." Siwon smiled more to himself then her, she had a way of being completely innocent at times.
"Okay, so two dinners, the next company is J. Tune Camp," Nita reached for his mug, "you done with your mug?"
"Yeah," Siwon handed his mug to Nita, "So J. Tune Camp, huh?, It has to be MBLAQ, and your favorite has to be Cheondong and Lee Joon, right?"
"Yeh, wrong order though, I like Lee Joon more, but I'll give you one dinner for that." Nita said smiling, she couldn't help but think about Joon, he was so much eye candy, that she had a high risk of getting diabetes.
"So we're at three dinners, the next company is JYP, I heard you listening to a song of theirs once. It's 2PM, it's an eight member group, I'm guessing here, and the order doesn't count this time, Nichkhun, Ok Taecyeon, and Jang Wooyoung."
Nita nodded her head, "That makes four dinners."
"What, was the order wrong?" Siwon asked shoulders slumping.
Nita just nodded her head and smiled. "The next is your company, 'Oppa' I'll give you two dinners if you get the group and the order of the members right."
Siwon gave her a shocked look, "I don't even have to try. Your favorite group, Super Junior," he smirked, "your favorite members myself and Lee Donghae, in that order," after that statement, the smirk was a full on naughty grin, "that makes it six dinners total now."
Nita smirked, "I gave you that one, Siwon, I could have just knocked out SM Entertainment because of the rejection letter." He looked hurt at that statement, "Relax you're right it's six dinners, now who's next? Oh, TS Entertainment."
Siwon smiled again, "That one's easy too, you like the sound of deep baritone vocals, in that company its B.A.P, and your favorite has to be the only guy with that kind of voice, Bang Yong-Guk. Let's go ahead and take care of YG, while we're at it. In that company it's BigBang, and your favorites are, G-Dragon, Taeyang, and T.O.P. YG is worth three dinners on its own, because you're in love with those guys. So, adding up all of them, I should have a total of 10 dinners in my account."
Nita just stared at him, arrogance was running thick in his voice at the moment, but she guessed that with his fame, he could have it. But was she really that predictable? He didn't even have think about the last two companies, how did he know she liked the sound of deep baritone vocals, she couldn't remember telling him.
"Ya! You don't have make me sound so predictable, and you could have least gotten one wrong! Fine, ten dinners, with whoever you want to invite, just give me a heads up before about how many people." Nita wasn't a sore loser, but she hated it when others saw right through her, she didn't like showing the cracks in her armor.
"Don't be mad, to be honest, I cheated," Siwon shows her his phone. On it she was her Pinterest profile, he had her K-pop board showing on his phone, "You have pins of all the guys in all the groups you like, it really wasn't that hard for me, Miahnhae."
Nita wasn't as shocked as she was relieved, she'd honestly thought that he had known all that just from talking to her, "Gwenchanah, I should've have thought about that before making the bet, you won fair and square. I owe you ten dinners with your choice of guests, no more than three. Omo!! It's already 11, I still have a lot of work to do, I need to get started!!" Nita went to her bedroom to grab a hair clip, and started sweeping her kitchen.
"Here let me help," Siwon offered, looked up, but Nita was gone, he smiled to himself again. She made him happy, even without realizing it. He knew she carried a large burden on her shoulders, she was always so serious, but when she smiled she lighted up the whole room. Siwon knew it's wasn't going to be easy to capture her heart, but he was going to try is damned hardest.
