(1st of January, Friday, The New Year) The next day came. Ivy worked until 3PM and went to meet Wayne Todd at Central Park about the conract. She walked into Central Park and saw Wayne Todd sitting on one of the benches waiting for her. Ivy came over and sat next to him with the contract in her hand. Then they started to talk.

Wayne Todd : i'm so glad you could make it.
Ivy : i'm happy to be here.
Wayne Todd (*asks) : did you bring the contract ?
Ivy : yes, i did.

Ivy hands Wayne Todd the contract and he takes it to turn to the first page of the contract. He spent at least 10 minutes on each page explaining what it meant and Ivy agreed on all of the benefits that came with it. She signed at the bottom of each page as an agreement of taking the job. After an hour later, Wayne Todd was down explaining everything and Ivy had signed everything. And they were finished with the entire contract. Ivy gave Wayne Todd the contract back fully in agreement with each other. They shook hands and went their separate ways. Ivy went back to work afterwards.

That night after work, Ivy and Charlie were in the kitchen getting a glass of water before heading to bed. Ivy thought that it would be a good time for her to tell him about her final decision and so she spoke up.

Ivy : Charlie.
Charlie (*hums) : Hmmm ???
Ivy : i have something to tell you Charlie.
Charlie (*asks) : what is it ?
Ivy : i’m not staying here for long.
Charlie (*asks) : what do you mean ?
Ivy : i just signed the contract with Wayne Todd today.
Charlie (*asks) : when ?
Ivy : i met him during my break at 3 earlier.
Ivy : we sat down and he walked me through the entire contract.
Ivy : i signed it and now im going to work for LACMA.
Charlie : i dont know what you want me to say Ivy.
Ivy : say that your proud of me for making this decision or tell me to stay Charlie.
Charlie : i cant say either both to you.
Ivy (*asks) : why ?
Charlie : i dont know.
Ivy (*asks) : then don’t you want to know the reason why i took this long to decide ?
Charlie (*asks) : why ?
Ivy : because i thought about how my feelings for you and be with you if i stayed.
Ivy : i care about you Charlie and it goes the same for William, Ben, and Jason.
Ivy : i care about all of you.
Ivy : half of me tells me not to leave you and the other half tells me to achieve my dream.
Ivy : all i want to hear you say is for me to stay here and i will.
Charlie (*shakes his head & says) : i can't.
Charlie : i can't let you give up your dream so easily Ivy.
Charlie : as much as i want you to stay here in New York, i have to let you leave.
Charlie : you wanted this your entire life and your getting it. im not letting you stay.
Ivy : please tell me not to leave Charlie. that's all i want to hear from you.
Charlie : i'm sorry Ivy, i can't.

Charlie walked to his room after talking to Ivy. He felt so mad that he couldnt tell her how he feels about her. Ivy was of course upset at the fact that she couldnt keep the guy she was beside of longer. She spent the entire night crying her eyes out.
