(30th December, Wednesday) 5 days went by and the holidays were coming to an end. Ivy, Charlie, William, Ben, Jason were getting ready to leave to the airport back to New York City. Silvana, Joe, James, and Amy were also leaving to the airport back to Canada that morning too. Laurel and Raina had already went home the day after Christmas to finish work. Bernard drove Audrey and Nick back home to bring them to extracuricular activity classes while Iris stayed to say goodbye to Ivy and her Aunt Silvana with Granny Anne. Tom Bailey was also going to the airport to fly to Canada to do work at the Crime Lab office.

So that morning while everyone was getting ready upstairs to leave, Granny Anne got the van ready to drive to the airport. After a while, everyone came downstairs to the car and left to the airport. They have arrived at the airport and at the gate of their flight. Silvana, Joe, James, Amy, and Tom Bailey had to leave to their gate first because their flight was leaving right away. They said goodbye to one another and left. It leaves Ivy, Charlie, William, Ben, Jason standing there in front of the gate with Iris and Granny Anne. They said their goodbyes and hugged each other. There was a little bit of crying as well from Ivy and Iris. Once everyone had left, Iris and Granny Anne went home.

The next thing you know is that Ivy, Charlie, William, Ben, and Jason were home in New York City. William told everyone to go home and rest and so they did. They all went back to their old lives of being waiters and chef. They opened up the restaurant back up the next day.

Throughout the month, Ivy had thought about taking the job from Wayne Todd. So as the guys were working in the restaurant, Ivy took a break and went to Central Park to get some air. She sat on the bench and called Wayne Todd. After 3 rings, Wayne Todd answers the phone knowing it was from Ivy.

Wayne Todd (*says through the phone) : Hello. I’m so glad you called Ivy.
Ivy : yes, me too.
Wayne Todd (*asks) : what can i do for you ?
Ivy : i was wondering about that offer we talked about a month ago.
Wayne Todd (*asks) : have you made your decision yet ?
Ivy : yes, i have.
Wayne Todd (*asks) : then what's it going to be ?
Ivy : i want to work for you at LACMA.
Wayne Todd : i’m so happy you made a decision to join us.
Wayne Todd : i want to meet as soon as possible to talk about the contract
Wayne Todd : and what you will be doing in LA.
Wayne Todd (*asks) : when are you available ?
Ivy : it depends when you are.
Wayne Todd : i’m going to be in New York City tomorrow around your area.
Wayne Todd : please meet me at Central Park by the bridge tomorrow at 3PM.
Wayne Todd (*asks) : is that okay with you ?
Ivy : yes, that’s fine. if i don’t make it on time, you can just meet me at my workplace.
Ivy (*asks) : you know where it is, right ?
Wayne Todd : i know where it is.
Ivy : alright then.
Wayne Todd : i’ll see you tomorrow then. remember to bring the contract with you.
Ivy : yes, i understand.
Wayne Todd : bye now.
Ivy : bye.

They hung up the phone. Ivy took a breathe of relief and sat there for a while smiling that she had made a decision to leave New York City to pursue her dream. Then she went back to the restaurant to continue on her work.

When her shift was over, Ivy cleaned up the front and put up all the chairs. Everyone had already left home leaving her there since she did live there. Charlie came out of the kitchen and stood there looking at Ivy work. He admire her for a second and loved her for that. Ivy had a feeling that he was looking at her so she stopped what she was doing and looked at him saying............

Ivy (*says as having her arm on the broom) : your staring into my soul again Charlie.
Charlie : i know but i couldnt help it.
Ivy (*asks) : can you do me a favor ?
Charlie (*asks) : what can i do for you ?
Ivy : go back into the kitchen and get out all of the ingredients for a spaghetti recipe.
Charlie (*asks) : what for ?
Ivy : im going to teach you how to make it using my recipe.
Charlie (*asks) : why ?
Ivy : because your going to add it on the menu.
Charlie : but its already on the menu.
Ivy : an improve menu, duh. (*giggles)
Charlie : oh.
Charlie (*asks) : why dont you just give me the recipe ?
Charlie : i'll just follow the instructions.
Ivy : no can do.
Charlie (*asks) : why ?
Ivy : because i dont have a copy of it anywhere. i have it in my mind.
Ivy : stop asking questions and go.
Charlie : fine.

Charlie went into the kitchen to get all of the ingredients out while Ivy finished up cleaning. After she was down, she went into the kitchen and spent all night teaching him how to cook it. After many hours of working on it, he finally succeeded.
