For the next couple of days, Ivy and Charlie didn't talk to each other at all. Everytime that they pass by each other, they only nod and greet each other. Ivy continued on working and not let her feelings be in the way.

One Week Later (Sunday). Since it was Ivy's day off after so many days of working, without telling anyone at the restaurant, she packed up her things in her room. It was [8PM]. Before leaving the studio, she left Charlie the last rent money for him in an envelope on the kitchen table. Then she made herself downstairs with her bags and left quickly without anyone seeing her. She took a taxi to the airport and waited for her flight. She didn't fly until 10:30PM but she had to be there early to check in.

As soon as she got to the airport, she checked in her bags and went to wait at the gate. As she was waiting, sitting at the gate with everyone around her, she thought about the possibilities of staying. Thoughts were running through her head like 'Will she be happy ? Will Charlie ever love her ? Where will her life take her ? her paintings ?'. She sat there in deep thought. A figure of a man (Tom Bailey) came in front of Ivy and took a seat next to her. When he spoke up next to her, she finally realized that it was Tom Bailey there.

Tom Bailey (*asks as sitting there without looking at Ivy) : so your going to LA too ?
Ivy (*says without looking at the man) : yes.

Ivy realizes who it is with the voice and looks up to surprise to see Tom Bailey there.

Ivy (*asks) : what are you doing here Tom ?
Tom Bailey : i came back from Canada a couple days ago and im flying back to LA.
Ivy (*asks) : to spend time with my Granny ?
Tom Bailey : that and to work.
Tom Bailey (*asks) : so what are you doing here Ivy ?
Ivy : im flying back to LA to work.
Tom Bailey (*asks) : work ? what kind of work ?
Ivy : LACMA offered me a job before Christmas holiday and i decided to take it.
Tom Bailey : im so proud of you Ivy.
Ivy : yeah, me too.
Tom Bailey : its a huge opportunity and you have to take it.
Ivy : yeah, but I feel like I'm making a mistake.
Tom Bailey (*asks) : what mistake might that be?
Ivy : I feel like the need to stay here for Charlie.
Tom Bailey : no matter what the case is,
Tom Bailey : you must always put your needs first before anything or anyone else.
Tom Bailey : you've come a long way, don't get me wrong.
Tom Bailey : I don't want to see you throw away something you waited your whole life for.

They sat there in deep thought.

Ivy wanted to cool off so she excused herself to the restroom.

During this time, Charlie and William were closing the restaurant early because of the New Year. The guys cleaned up the restaurant quickly while Charlie went upstairs to get Ivy so all of them to go watch a movie together. He searched in her room, wipe empty, the living room, and even his own room. She was nowhere to be found. Then he came across an envelope with rent money inside of it on the dining table and underneath it was a note and a gift box. He opened the envelope to see money in it. Then he opened the note to read it.

The note read :
“Dear Charlie. By the time you read this, i'm already at the airport on the plane probably on my way to LA. Like i told you before, i decided to leave New York City and move back to LA to work for Wayne Todd for LACMA (that museum) and also stay with my Granny. My Granny needs me there for her. You have always wanted me to go to LA and work and so i am. I'm taking this opportunity and turning it into something more. The last few months was nothing but perfect moments in my life. i couldn't ask for a better family in New York. I want to say thank you for everything that you've done for me. You've taught me everything i need to know about life. You encourage me to do this and i thank you for that. If it wasn't for you, i wouldn't be where i am right now. I wanted to stay in New York and continue what i do, but something or someone told me to leave. You were the reason why i wanted to stay. In order for me to move on, i have to give back the charm bracelet. I can't move on if i can't find the missing piece. I don't know how to thank you for taking me in and letting me work at your restaurant. I'm sorry i have to leave like this. Tell the guys i said bye and i wish luck to all 3 of them. P.S. I love you Charlie. It's something i couldn't say to you when i lived in NYC. Take good care of yourself and find your true love. Goodbye Charlie. -Love Ivy”

Charlie opened the gift box right away and there laid the charm bracelet that he gave to Ivy for Christmas.

(Back at the airport) As Ivy was washing her hands, she heard on the intercom about her flight number being ready to board soon. Everyone who was boarding the plane to LA made their way to the airplane to take their seats. Ivy was thinking about how much she would miss this life with Charlie and the rest of the guys.

Charlie took that note and ran downstairs to tell the guys.

Charlie : guys.
William (*asks) : what happened Charlie ?
Charlie : Ivy. she left to LA for her art at LACMA.
Ben : we didn't see her when she left earlier.
Ben (*asks) : how did she leave without us knowing ?
Jason : maybe she snuck out quietly that we didn't know.
Jason : i mean, it was pretty busy earlier.
Charlie : i could've know she was leaving.
William (*asks) : well, did she leave anything behind ?
Charlie : a note.

Charlie hands William the note and he reads it in his head. Then William says out loud to everyone.

William : you have to go after her. who knows she might not left yet.
Ben : yeah, she could've changed her mind.
Charlie : she’s not the type to change her mind so easily.
Jason : you don't know that for sure. let's go find her at the airport.

The guys all ran out the restaurant and took a taxi to the airport to search for Ivy everywhere. They even went to the gate where she was waiting and she was nowhere to be found. Charlie was disappointed that he was one step too late to see her and tell her who he really feels.

During this time, Ivy called Wayne Todd telling him that she will stay in New York City and work and when she is ready with her paintings, she will send them over to LA. After calling Wayne Todd, Ivy walked to her plane already knowing that she had missed her flight to LA. She cancels the flight and walks to the middle of the airport to look around. As she standing there looking around, she saw four guys that looked like Charlie, William, Ben, and Jason standing there on the other side. She calls out Charlie’s name and the four of them all turned around looking at Ivy who was smiling at them.

Ivy (*calls out Charlie) : Charlie ?!?!?!?

Charlie, Ben, William, Jason turned around and surprised to see Ivy standing there. She walked towards them with a smile with her suitcases. Charlie hugs Ivy right away and she smiled as hugging him tightly. They let go of each other and Charlie started to ask her something.

Charlie (*asks) : you didn't leave ?
Ivy : i couldn't.
Charlie (*asks) : what do you mean ?
Ivy : i didn't realize how much i would miss New York City and you guys.
Ivy : so i gave Wayne Todd a call telling him that i'm going to stay here and work.
Ivy : and when i'm ready, i’ll send over my paintings to him to the museum.
Charlie (*asks) : so you're going to stay here forever ?
Ivy : that's the plan unless you don't want me to.
Charlie : i do want you to stay.
Ivy : huh ??

Charlie held her hands from the bottom and starts to speak.

Charlie : this time i'm telling you stay here with me.
Ivy (*asks) : why ?
Charlie : because i love you Ivy.
Ivy (*asks with a smile) : you do ?
Charlie : since the day we met each other at the restaurant.
Charlie : it's also the only reason why i kept you around longer.
Charlie : at first, i couldn't accept you because you reminded me so much like our mom.
Charlie : who passed away years ago. but now, i'm not afraid anymore.
Ivy (*asks) : so you're sure you want me to stay ?
Charlie : i'm very sure this time. the guys want you to too.
Ivy (*says with a smile) : you know.
Ivy : i don't have any other choice but to stay in New York City.
Charlie (*smiles & says) : you would want to wear your bracelet again.
Ivy : oh, right.

Charlie wore Ivy’s bracelet for her on her hand. The guys and hugged Ivy happily and were so happy that she was staying permanently. Then they all headed back to the restaurant apartment. While William, Ben, and Jason were moving some chairs outside up at the rooftop getting ready to watch the fireworks for the New Year, Ivy wanted to ask Charlie something so they stood beside each other in the kitchen talking.

Ivy (*asks) : can i ask you something Charlie ?
Charlie : sure.
Ivy : as much as i love staying here in this apartment upstairs of the restaurant,
Ivy : i don't want to anymore.
Charlie (*asks) : what do you mean ?
Ivy : i'm staying here permanently now and i want to move into a bigger apartment.
Ivy : a place where neighbors walk in and out of the building, greeting hello and goodbye.
Charlie : you want us to go look for one later ?
Ivy (*asks) : can we ?
Charlie : you don't need to.
Ivy (*asks) : then how would we move into a bigger apartment complex ?
Charlie : i have already bought one.
Ivy (*asks) : what ?

Charlie hands Ivy the keys to their new place and she takes it to look at it.

Ivy (*asks) : you bought one without talking to me about it ?
Charlie : i had a feeling you would want to move into one soon.
Ivy (*asks) : how did you know ?
Ivy (*asks) : i mean, what would happen if i really went to LA to work ?
Charlie : we would’ve moved in together when you came back from LA then.
Ivy : you always know. (*asks) how ?
Charlie : because i love you Ivy.

Ivy smiles at Charlie and then hugs him tightly. The guys were done setting up the rooftop and called Ivy and Charlie to come outside to watch the fireworks together. William, Charlie, Ivy, Ben, and Jason stood out in the rooftop to watch and were happy that they were together in the end. After the fireworks were over, everyone hugged each other. Ivy and Charlie shared their first kiss together and were so happy.

Ivy’s Narration ;
“At first, i had no idea what it was like to live in another city or country but now i know. I learned a lot from all this experience and I'm loving every moment of it right now. New York City is just any other city out there in the world, but it has something special to it and i can't seem to figure what that is. In case you're wondering what happened to my job. Two months later, i sent in 5 new paintings to LACMA for the museum display night. It went incredibly amazing and everyone liked my work. After that, i decided not to work with Wayne Todd anymore. Why ? Because i talked to Charlie about this and we have decided to turn the upstairs of the restaurant into a small art exhibit with my paintings in it. We got a license for it and now displaying my paintings. People now can eat at the restaurant downstairs AND take a walk in the art exhibit upstairs. My work has been going great. I help out with the restaurant like usual and manages the exhibit at night when there is something wrong. What about the guys, you say ? Well, Ben and Jason still works at the restaurant as a waiter. Both of them got promoted to be the executive waiter managers there. And for William, he is still around working at the restaurant but now he has been traveling back and forth to Canada to spend time with Amy. Who is Amy, you say ? Amy is my 27 years old cousin who now works as the top fashion designer at my aunt Silvana’s company. Yeah, they have been dating for a few months now and happy together. At first, i didn't approve of them dating because William was dating my cousin (a person in my family) but now it's not so bad and i learned to accept their love for each other. And for Charlie and I, we are both happy living and working together. I couldn't ask for a better boyfriend. Besides that, he asked me to marry him so now we’re engaged. We are getting married and having kids. I love my life now and the rest is to come. That’s my story, what's yours ?”
