Unknown Love

Who Is It?

Jin's Perspective
Waving back at the group of boys, Jin smiles sadly to herself as she washes out the paint pans. It looked like Junhong had moved, none of those boys looked familiar. None of them were smiling like Junhong had whenever he was happy. Finishing, Jin leaves them out to dry and goes inside, taking a picture that her mother had taken a few days before the accident, and going to the mirror in the hall. Looking between herself and the picture, Jin realizes that she looked nothing like her self that Junhong had known. He'd known the blue eyed, brown haired Hyeon Gi, not the silver eyed, dyed red haired Seo Jin. She jumps as her phone rings, but quickly picks it up, "Yeoboseyo?" "Jin-iya!" She hears her mother say and immediately stops what she's doing. "We won't be home for a couple of months because your father is getting a surgery that will take several months to recuperate. Please look after the house until then. Naneun Jin, mian haeyo." Jin's mother hangs up before she can get a word out. Slamming her phone onto the table next to her, Jin stares at herself in the mirror. Just like her looks had changed, her feelings had changed. She hated her mother for being the reason she had to leave Korea. Checking for the daily mail, Jin rips open one from her mother, pulling out a credit card and a few papers. Unfolding one of the papers, Jin reads it.

Jin-iya,
I transferred you to a new school, the paperwork is with this letter. I guess that I've called you by now and told you that I can't come back with your father, and you probably loath me for many things. But Jin-iya, you know how sorry I am for that, I'm trying to atone for it as much as I can, but your attitude isn't helping. Mian haeyo my daughter. Please make some friends now that I've transferred you to a new school, and meet Junhong sometime, because I'm sure that he misses you. Jin-iya, I'm sure that you miss him too, so let me give you some advice. If you still love him like you used to, then I give you permission to date him. But if he found someone to love in the time that we were gone, you need to either move on, or try your hardest to win him back. No matter what someone says to you, you will always be the girl that doesn't give up. If you need anything, just call us and we'll try to help. My baby girl who has grown up so much, become stronger than you ever have and call us often.

Salang,
Eomma

PS. You can use the credit card however you want, whether it be with friends or for yourself.
Jin glances at the other paperwork and sighs, picking her phone up and dialing the school number. "Neh? This is Choonhwa school office." "Uh, I'm a transfer student and I need to know when to come in to school and what to bring." Jin goes out to the backyard with a notebook and pencil, sitting on the grass and writes down all the things that the woman tells her. "Ibwa!" Someone yells and Jin quickly thanks the woman on the phone, hanging up and looking around. "Over here!" She looks over at a boy standing at the fence to the house next to Junhong's. Getting up, Jin goes over to him, ignoring the group of boys that had paused their soccer game in the yard to her left.

Zelo's Perspective
Youngjae calls for a pause and the boys all collapse on the grass. "Ibwa!" Zelo turns his head, hearing the cold kid that lived next to him, Mark, call out. The girl looks up from her notebook and quickly puts her phone away, going over to Mark. "I thought this house belonged to someone else, are you renting it?" He asks and she hesitates before answering. "Something like that," He stares at her. "What's your name?" She smiles a little. "Nae ileum-eun Seo Jin ibnida." Zelo stares down at his hands. Whenever he and Hyeon Gi would get together, instead of using their actual names, she would us Seo Jin and he would use Zelo. Hearing that name sent electricity down his spine. "Well, Seo Jin-ssi, I'm glad to be living as your neighbor." Mark smiles and her phone suddenly rings. "Ahh!" She nearly shrieks, but quickly answers the phone, bowing to Mark. "Yeoboseyo?" She winces and quickly holds the phone away from her ear. "Oh my god! Don't yell in my ear!" She yells in English and Mark leans forward, Zelo stared at her. "Yes, yes! I get that you want to see if I'm okay, but don't fucking yell into the phone! You're going to break my eardrum!" She quickly makes her way up to the patio and drops down into one of the chairs. "Wow, what was she saying?" Jongup asks and Zelo stares at his brother. "She said 'Oh my god, don't yell in my ear.' and then 'Yes yes, I get that you want to see if I'm okay, but don't fucking yell into the phone. You're going to break my eardrum'." Mark says but goes back into his house. "Zelo, doesn't her voice kind of sound like Hyeon Gi's?" "Ahhh, molla molla molla!" Zelo shakes his head and goes inside.
