The Difference between Salt and Sugar

Min Joo’s POV

The next day was practice as usual. Vocal practice we finally held alone. Yuna was upset when she lead us to the vocal room… I guess that Manager Park told her that we’d all practice by ourselves so we can hear ourselves. Everyone was assign to one room. And I got the far room on the end. I open the door to go in as I turn to close it… OH? It doesn’t unlock, I better now close it all the way.

I warmed up my vocals… then *click* Kris tiptoed in my practice room.

“What are you doing?” I said

He flung at me and covers my mouth. “I’m waiting for Yuna- Sunbae… I’m sure she’s going to sneak in your practice room SO I wanted to trade rooms.” Kris smirks

“Well… wise guy…” I said moving his hand away from my mouth, “She left for the day, she’s not coming here. Plus now… we’re in a bigger problem.” I sighed

“What?! Gone for the day?! How do you know?” He groans

“We were told we can do individual vocal practice so she walked me here and Manager Park had her leave for the day, she stop by and left.” I replied

“UGHHH….I guess I’ll just go.” Kris groans and turns to grab the door knob when… *TWIST* *TWIST* *TURN* *GRUNT* “What?! Why won’t it open!!”

“That’s the bigger issues that I was going to tell you… This practice room was never unlocked properly so that’s why I left it opened but some BIG SMART guy came over and open it and closed it all the way.” I complaint and sat on the floor.

Kris looked at me surprised and then turn and bang the door “Help!! Open this!!!” he yelled

“ISh… are you really a babo!! It’s soundproof for the vocal practice!” I yelled

Kris blush and sat down, “What do you suggest we do then?” he snickered at me, I rolled my eyes

“The only thing we can do… wait…” I said and leaned back and closed my eyes

“Oh! Cellphone!” he said with a bright smile the he felt his pocket… judging from that lost look on his face it can only mean one thing… he lose it. Ugh… I can’t believe that guy is what girls consider cool and hot. He was so forgetful and yet so cocky.

It was an awkward silence for about a good five minutes that felt like an hour… I remember I had my iPod in my pocket… I took it out and listen to some music… from the corner of my eyes I saw him… He looked over at me… suddenly he moved closer to me.

“What?” I asked

“Let me listen too.” He said

“No.” I said plainly

“Let me listen too, I’m bored.” Kris said and tugged one side of the ear bud.

“Yah…” I said and tugged back as he held on

*Snap*

My ear bud was in two pieces… UGH…. Now I can’t even listen to music!!! WHAT the heck is this guy problem!?I glared at him.

Kris’s POV

OOPs… I felt bad… I just wanted to listen plus I don’t understand why Xiumin is always so cranky?

“I’ll get you some new ones.” I said and tossed the ear bud over

“It’s okay! I’m fine.” Xiumin (Min Joo) said mad

“Yah… I feel bad, I’ll get you better ones.” I insisted again

“I said it’s OKAY! I don’t need anything.” He said mad

“I’m just trying to be nice!” I yelled

“DON’T” he said

We were face to face inches away… seriously I don’t understand how such a cute guy can be so angry! We both scoffed and turned our back away at the same time. Time seem to pass by slowly… maybe I was acting up too much… I did tug it off….

“I’m sorry.” “I’m Sorry.”

We both apologized at the same time… it felt weird but… I blushed and felt warm inside… what…what… is this?
