The Difference between Salt and Sugar

Min Joo's POV


The next day was our day off, so I went to see Xiumin at the hospital.


I walked out of the dorm early that morning, the other members were still sleeping. I kept feeling like someone was following me as I walk to the Hospital.


Yuna's POV


That morning knowing Xiumin he must have woken up early. I walk over since I bake him some cookies, I was going to say it's for everyone but I want Xiumin to have it really. As i got closer to their dorm, Xiumin stepped out. Where's he going? Curious, i followed him.



Xiumin walked into, a large hospital. Was he sick? No, that could be in his trainee files he was in perfect health. I trailed him in. Xiumin walked into a room and sat next to someone. I tried to see who. Just then a nurse walked up behind me.


"Twins, they're twins but, one of them is a coma from a near fatal car accident. It's sad and touching since they're orphans too, the other works hard to provide for both. That's sweet isn't it. " the nurse said softly to me


The nurse left but I watched Xiumin as he held his brother's hands. He put his head down... and I could hear him silently crying. I love him even more now... he's kind and strong no wonder why I was drawn to him. I finally mustard the courage to go see him.


"Xiumin Oppa? Is that you?" I smiled walking over



He turned surprised, and bowed greeting me.


"Is that your hyung-nim?" I asked


"Oh....yeah.... my hyung-nim."he said, "But Yuna Sunbae, what are you doing here?" He asked surprised


"Oh....i...i....i came to visit a friend... and from a distance i saw you so i came over. " I lied laughing nervously



"That's nice." Xiumin replied


"Xiumin Oppa, you don't have to call me Sunbae, Yuna is just fine, I made some cookies, here have some!!!" I said blushing handing them over to him.


"Oh... thank you..." he said and opened the cookie tin and ate one, "These are good..." he said surprised


"I substitute sugar for brown sugar instead that's why it's more moist." I blush


I'm just happy it's really just me and Xiumin here. I stayed and we chatted a bit about singing and dancing. I gave him a couple of my dancing tips even though I was a vocal coach.


As the afternoon became late, I walked with Xiumin back to their dorm.


"Thank you, Yuna, I had been pretty stress it's nice to talk with someone like me." Xiumin said



"Like me?" I asked


"Ahh... I mean who .... has... a family or friend in a difficult spot." He laughed


"Anytime..." I smiled took his cell phone from his coat pocket and saved in my number, "call me anytime you need to talk."


Just then the door opened, the other guys looked at us.



"Omo were you two on a date?" Lay asked surprised


"No way. " Kris yelled upset


"I should go." I smiled trying to leave



"No... wait come inside eat dinner with us." Kris said and grabbed my wrist



I looked at Xiumin, if I can see him longer, "Sure." I replied and walked in.



"What are you making Xiumin, I'll help." Luhan smiled hugging Xiumin from the back



"Yah! JUST HELP ME, THEIRS NO NEED TO HUG ME." Xiumin exclaimed as Luhun smiled brightly and letting go.


"Xiumin, you cook." I asked


"He's the best!!!" Chen smiled with thumbs up



"I bet you cook better though, right?" Kris asked winking at me



"How about a cooking competition!!!" Lay exclaimed



"Yeah!!!" Luhan smiled



Lay, Luhun, and Chen dance hold hands happily, just the thought of food, brought them that much joy???



Somehow I ended up cooking against Xiumin oppa. Okay I'll do it, I'm going to show him I'm wife material. We both began cooking as I glance over, Xiumin cooked almost like a professional, his cutting skills were amazing. After about 45 mins we finished. As we set out the food for everyone one to eat. We ate slowly. I tried my dish, it was slightly too salty, ok... it was extremely salty and I could see it in every ones faces, especially in Luhun.


"Wah, it tastes like the sea!" Luhun exclaimed with a sour face



Kris smack him upside the head, "Its delicious," he ate a mouth full I could see tears stream down his face, "Wah, I'm so touched on how good this tastes." he lied


I looked at Xiumin, he ate my food quietly, and finished, "Thank you for the food."



He's such a man, even though it was salty, he didn't say anything. Finally I got to try Xiumin's dish. I took a small bite. OMO!!!! OTEKE!!! OTEKE!!! IT'S SO DELICIOUS!!! IT'S LIKE HEAVEN IN MY MOUTH. I watched as everyone else ate with the same expression i had.



Xiumin is amazing!!! We all sat down. It was obvious that Xiumin had a better dish.


"let's vote, Xiumin vs Yuna?" Kris asked


Everyone hesitate.


"I'll vote for Xiumin." I smiled at him


"I'll vote for Yuna." Kris smiled at me



"I don't like voting both dishes have their good and their bad." Xiumin stated



"I agree with Xiumin. " Tao said blankly


"Yea, let's just call it even." Chen said as Lay and Luhun agreed


They walked me out and I left home. Xiumin is amazing, he's kind, sing well, manly, I really have to make him mine.


Min Joo's POV

Yuna left. She was such a good person and I could tell that Kris really liked her.


*sigh* I hope Xiumin wakes up soon....



As I laid down to sleep, Tao came over and pulled my bedding to the left side and set his things in the center.


"It's cold over there so I'm going to sleep here."Tao said


"Sure." I smiled


Kris's POV


Ughhhhh.... Yuna seems to like Xiumin.... I'm to show her tomorrow what a man is like at tomorrow practice!
