The Difference between Salt and Sugar

Min Joo's POV


I woke up and opened my eye it was dark but the sky was already a rising dark blue, I turn over grab my phone and looked at the time... 5 am, I sat up, and looked to my left side and Tao was fast asleep, he's really handsome up close as I leaned in closer, then he slightly moved in his sleep, I back off immediately embarrassed, then I turn over and look to my right, Kris snore slightly and also looked good sleeping, I leaned over to look at him up close when he moved his arms over me as I fell and our lips touch. He didn't wake up so I slowly moved his arm off of me and back away. I ran into the bathroom embarrassed.


It's okay Min Joo, it was a accident.... I said trying to calm myself down. Ughhhhh but that was my first kiss... I kinda wanted it to be special. *Sigh* All well... I wash up and stepped out of the bathroom when

The sound of a air horn loudly sounded through the house, and in walked Mr Park, and a crew of people.



"GET UP!! IT'S TIME TO BEGIN TRAINING!!!" A man yelled a a military style voice



I walked over and greeted Mr. Park and the other people I didn't recognize. Mr Park was surprised to see me up and ready already.


"You're up early or did you not sleep?" He asked me


"No, Sir, I did sleep, I wake up at this time, since I'm the head of a dojang, I normally wake up the others. " I replied


"Good." He smiled and patted my head messing up my hair.


I retied what was left of my short shoulder length hair. I looked over to see if the others were up yet.



"Get ready the car leaves in 10 mins those not ready in time can just leave altogether and pack up." The bulky man with a military voice yelled


In a flash I see Tao run into the bathroom and out in 3 mins. He came and greeted Mr Park and stood next to me... then I heard *crash* *bang* *clank* *crash* Lay, Chen, Luhun, and Kris all up and trying to squeeze in the bathroom getting ready in the small space.


"You have 2 mins left!!!" The bulky instructor yelled


In the nick of time they all came out and greeted Mr. Park.


"Everyday you'll wake up by 5:30 am, the car will leave at 5:45 am, if you are not in it by that time, don't bother staying here." Mr. Park said to us and we all nodded.


"This is trainer Sung Ho, he's in charge of your fitness health, this is stylist Tae Hee, she's in charge of your style and concepts, this is coach Woo Jin, he'll be your dance coach, and finally meet coach Yuna, she's in charge of your vocal training. "Mr. Park said and introduce the trainers one by one


Sung Ho was the bulk middle age man who had the military voice, he was what most people would call the definition of a strong man. Tae Hee looked about 27 years old or something and had long black hair to her waist and dressed in bold fashion and wore bright red lipstick. Woo Jin, was a slim slightly muscular man, he was very attractive. And lastly was Yuna who looked younger than all of us but she dressed mature, she had chestnut light brown hair to her chest, side swept bang, wore a light baby pink button up and a tight black pencil skirt with light pink lace trimming on the edge of the skirt. Yuna had large cute eyes and porcelain white skin.


We all got into a black van and sat down and departed to the fitness training ground. We reached SM's training facility, it was a large giant gray building literally in the middle of nowhere! We stepped out and followed Mr Park and instructor Sung Ho into the building. As we walked we saw other trainee groups training inside. They all stopped and looked at us with cocky smirks.


"Don't let the other trainee groups outshine you as a team, remember that at the end of the term only one group of trainees debut. " Sung Ho said to us all


"Yes." We replied in unison



"First we'll start a fitness test to see where you're at... push up... we'll go Luhun, Lay, Chen, Kris, Tao and then Xiumin. " Sung Ho ordered


"Me!? First! ???!!" Luhun said surprised


"Yes. Get down. " Sung Ho answered adamant


Luhun got down and began. He reached his maximum by 34, the other trainee groups around us laugh snd chuckle around us. It annoyed me. Next Lay did 56 which wasn't bad but wasn't great either, Chen did 54, and Kris did 63, the other trainees around us began to look snotty. Tao hot down and did 85... even I was amazed. Finally my turn with the other training groups around us laugh it annoyed me so I did my best... 65. With at least 3 strong members the other trainees finally looked away and stopped laughing.



"Okay, Kris, Tao and Xiumin you pass this test, Chen, Lay and Luhun work harder, by the end of the term you all need to get at least 60 in order to pass. " Sung Ho said to each of us


Honestly I don't know how I got 65 but i was exhausted. We finally got in the van and over to SM main building, there Tae Hee greeted us.


"Aigoo... you're all do cute." She smiled then looked stern, "now sit. "


She had us all sit in a hair salon chair. Tae Hee walked over and on the vanity mirror put up a photo. I looked and realized it was hair cutting photos. My hair was still shoulder length... i didn't want to cut my hair...


"Luhun hair, this style and go ahead and go 2 shade lighter. Lay that style, no color change make sure the fade looks nice thought. Chen that cut, go darker 1 shade. Kris, that cut, add slight hint of highlights. Tao, just a trim, dye black and perm. Xiumin.... cut it all off... that's all." Tae Hee smile


Did I just hear her say.... cut it all off? My hair... is going to look like my brother's... I ... don't ... want ... to!!!!


I got up and glared at Tae Hee, "I'm not cutting."


"Ho ho... we have a feisty one... if you don't cut off you're out." She said challenging me


I bit my lips, I've come to far to back down. I'll do it for Xiumin ughh... this is a pain... I guess I will just have to wait for it to grow back then.


As i sat down, Tae Hee smiled and said, "You're really cute looking with long hair to your shoulders it makes you look too feminine, that why we decided on a feathered or layered with a sideswept fringe. It's still long in the front bangs."


I didn't want to look as I heard the scissor cutting. Finally as they finished I looked up. OMG I look just like my brother now. Ughhhhhhhh the only way people could tell us apart before was because of my long hair, now its....


Luhun's POV


After my haircut, I thought I looked 10 times better! Wow I looked amazing! Hee hee hee... I then looked over... wow every one looked amazing especially Xiumin , he looks more manly now!


After haircut we went to the dance studio. We stretched and then Woo Jin walked in.


"I want to see a little freestyles first then I'll know what I have to work with. " Woo Jin smiled


We all dance individually as Woo Jin observed , Xiumin seemed to have struggled the most.


"Okay, all of you were amazing especially Tao and Kris, Xiumin you need a lot more help but you have potential, I suggest that when you have free time have Tao or Kris teach you."


The lesson began as we all danced, Xiumin struggle to keep up, I felt really bad for him. Exhausted Woo Jin finally let us take a 5 min break. I ran over to Xiumin.


"Fighting Xiumin! You can do it!" I smiled and huged him but when I hugged him something felt weird. His waist and arm were soft and relax, it felt different from a... man...
