~the next day; Minnie’s POV~
I woke up early, excited for the teaser. I was no longer nervous. I quickly went through the morning routine, then arrived at the filming studio.

I warmed up, then immediately started shooting the teaser. But I kept messing up, and it was always a different step each time. What is wrong with me? I could do it perfectly yesterday, I thought.

I had already been at the studio for 2 hours. I started to get frustrated, and felt like I would scream if I messed up again. I took a quick water break, and I noticed that Summer had come to the studio.

“Hey, you’re doing great! Just pretend that you’re dancing with me and for SUGAR only. Don’t worry about anyone else watching,” she said.

I gave her a tired smile, then returned to dancing. In the corner of my eye, I saw Kai walk in the room. Yesterday, I felt proud when he said that I was a good dancer. I wanted to show him again that I am the best female dancer of the generation.

I took a deep breath, then I let the music control my body. I blocked out everyone around me except for Summer, the rest of the SUGAR members who had just arrived, and Kai. This time, I didn’t make a single mistake.

After the dance ended, I grinned then ran toward my group members. We did a group hug. I was so happy that I even flung my arms around Kai and gave him a peck on the cheek. I didn’t regret it at all; he was the one who helped me to get over my uneasiness the most.

Kai smiled and put his arms around my waist too. Surprisingly, it felt really well and comforting. He kissed me on the forehead, and ruffled my hair.

“Wae~ don’t ruin my beautiful hair!” I pouted.

“Okay, now that you’re done filming the teaser you want to celebrate? Just the two of us?” Kai asked.

“Can Summer come with us?”

“Please, can it just be the two of us?” Kai made puppy eyes.

I smiled. Kim Jongin is completely different from Kai on stage. “Okay, fine.”

“Yay!” Kai then crouched and suddenly picked me up on his back. I screamed as he ran around the room, my arms wrapped around his neck. I kept my eyes shut and held on tight.

“Don’t worry, I won’t let you get hurt,” Kai said.

I slowly let go of my hands, and he continued to run around the room and then out the door. I laughed as I kissed his cheek, and he dropped me off in the car.

“Where are we going?” I asked as Kai drove.

“You’ll see,” Kai said while smirking.

We drove for about 20 minutes, then stopped in front of a small building. We walked inside, and the smell of fresh baked and coffee filled my nose. Kai walked up to the counter, and hugged a woman in her 50s who was standing there.

“Umma! It’s nice to see you again!”

I froze. This was his mom?

“Jongin! How is my handsome son doing?” she said while pinching his cheek.

Kai laughed and said, “Very well. And you?”

“I am well. And who is this pretty young lady? Jongin! Is she your girlfriend??

“Yes, she is the best girlfriend that anyone can ask for,” Kai said warmly.

“Annyeong hashimnikka. My name is Min Rin. And your son has been very wonderful.”

“Glad to hear that. Jongin has never dated before, so you must be one very special girl to him! You may call me ajumoni,” Kai’s mother said with a smile. “Anyways, what would you like to order?”

“Kai, can you order for me?”

“Sure. May we have 2 cappuccinos and 2 red bean buns? And we don’t have to pay because I’m your son right?” Kai said.

“Of course not, and not because you’re my son. But because your beautiful girlfriend is here, and you actually have found someone who’s pretty, smart, and polite.”

I giggled and took my red bean bun and coffee. I bit into the soft break and felt the sweet red bean paste on my tongue. “This is really delicious! Thank you for the pastry.”

Kai and I finished eating the buns and drinking our coffee, then we got into the car. It started to rain as Kai drove back to the SM building.

After about 30 minutes on the road, the cars in front of us stopped moving. We sat in silence it started to rain. The pitter patter of the droplets on the window calmed my head, and I turned my head to look at Kai.

He was staring at me intently with his deep brown eyes. “Jung Min Rin, you are the most beautiful girl in the world. I don’t know how any guy can’t go crazy for you. You’re so gorgeous, kind, talented, and smart.”

I always had a weakness for when people compliment me. I couldn’t listen to him talking like that anymore, so I pressed my lips to his to shut him up.

“Thank you for being the best boyfriend ever. I know I’ve probably been the worst, but you’ve helped me change. I’m not sure about love yet, but I definitely like you. Can we start over?”

He smirked. “Of course, Minnie. I’d do anything for you.”

~Meanwhile~
Summer was in the corner drinking water, STILL thinking about the kiss. She put down her water bottle and wiped her mouth, looking around. Minnie and Kai were going out the door with Kai giving Minnie a piggyback ride. Summer was about to see where they were going, when she felt two hands around her waist.

~Summer’s POV~
I tried to turn around, but the person’s arms were tight around my waist. I felt someone’s mouth near my ear, and he whispered, “Hey.”

I twisted my neck around to see who it was. My mouth was 3 inches from his lips, and I could feel his minty breath on mine. “Sehunnie! What a pleasant surprise!” I winced, hoping that I didn’t sound too eager.

He smiled and let go of me. “Sorry about that. I didn’t mean to sneak up on you.” He smirked.

“Yah right.” I teased back. “You’re always sneaking up on me.”

Sehun laughed. A tiny wrinkle by his eye shone out as his eyes turned into crescent shapes, and I couldn’t help but put my finger on the wrinkle. “Aww...you get wrinkles when you laugh! Just like Luhan oppa!”

Sehun smiled and blushed. “But your smile is way cuter,” he said quietly, so only I could hear.

For some random reason, or maybe it wasn’t so random, I started turning crimson. An urge pushed me forward, and I put my arms around Sehun’s waist. I almost put my arms by my side again; I was pretty surprised by my actions. But Sehun took my arms and pinned them to his sides.

“Hey,” he said seductively. “Come with me.”

“Ok,” I replied curiously. Where was he going to take me?

He pulled me inside his car. “I think you deserve a little celebration too.”

I nodded, my heart beating faster. Where were we going?

He drove back to the Exo dorms, where all of the other Exo members were gone, as they had already gone to practice.

He led me up to his room, and sat me down on his bed. I pretended to yawn, and I looked at him. “What do you want me to do? Take a nap?” He smirked. “Even better. Wait and watch, princess.”

It felt so good that he called me prince- wait...Was I seriously having feelings for this hot, sexy, smart, and awesome boy? Hmm...well he sure is sexy. I shook my head. Fat chance, I probably already broke his heart. Why would he like me?

Sehun closed the door tightly, and brought out a movie. Miracles in Cell No.7. That was one of my favorite movies.

The movie started playing, and I was wrapped inside the story. Before I even noticed, tears started trickling down my cheeks. I looked over to Sehun, whose eyes were also shining from tears.

I reached for a tissue, and wiped the tears off my face and from my eyes. I was soon so emotional that I had to pause the movie so Sehun and I could get more tissues for me.

Apparently, Exo’s dorms are NOT supplied at all, despite Xiumin’s obsession over making everything perfect, so Sehun and I just decided to stop the movie and talk.

I sat on Sehun’s bed, my head on his shoulder. I closed my eyes, wanting the moment to last.

He put his hand around my waist, and wiped the tears from my face. “You did really well today for the teasers.”

I looked at him. “Thanks. You did really well-”

I stopped.

He blew a piece of hair away from my face. “What did I do well on?”

I paused.

“You did really well in capturing a girl’s heart.”

He thought I was talking about Minnie. “Minnie? Oh...well Kai likes her, and I definitely like someone else.”

He winked at me.

I smiled. “No...not Minnie. Another girl’s heart.”

He cocked his head, confused.

~Sehun’s POV~
I cocked my head, confused. Who could she be talking about? Unless...no that’s impossible. She definitely likes Kai, not me.

I decided to be risky, and asked, carefully, “Summer, are you talking about yourself?”

She nodded slightly, and moved her head down onto my lap, lying down with her perfectly shaped body on my bed.

I stroked her hair softly, my insides bursting with excitement.

She opened her mouth to speak.

“I am so so so so so so so so sorry for doing this to you, Sehun. Playing with your emotions. Breaking your heart. Finding someone else. But I’ve realized that you’re the one. The one that has helped me through everything. The only one who has deeply loved me. I want to repay your actions. Sehunnie- I thought you were only a brother to me. But I know that you are more than a brother. You are someone that I can love back. Someone that I can trust and depend on. I love you.”

She put her hand on my cheek and a tear slid down my cheek. She wiped it away with her finger.

I smiled at her. “I love you too, Summer.”

I bent down, and kissed her on her lips. She put her hands around my neck, and kissed me back passionately. I helped her sit up, and I rubbed my hands through her hair, capturing her perfect lips in mine. She groaned slightly, and closed her eyes, enjoying the moment. I kissed her harder, and both of us stood up. I pushed her closer to the wall, and gently pressed her against the wall. I kept one hand behind her head, stroking it softly. Her mouth tasted like mint, and her sweet, sugary perfume intoxicated me. We kissed intensely, leaving no space between our bodies.Finally, she pushed me back towards my bed, and we both lay down, with her head resting on my chest.

I rested my chin on her head, and played with her hair. She flipped around and hugged me, squeezing hard. I smiled at her perfection, and kissed her on the forehead. She tilted her head up slightly, and kissed me lightly on the lips.
