~7 hours later~
Minnie woke up, and her back and neck were aching from not sleeping properly.

The next few days, SUGAR had some intense training sessions, lasting to 2 in the morning, and having to wake up at 5. Summer was a person who needed a lot of sleep, and without caffeine, she wouldn’t be able to sing and dance.

~Summer’s POV~
It was midnight, and I was still in the practice room training by myself. I was sweating, and my legs and arms were sore. I hadn’t drunk any coffee today. As I finished my dance, I was about to drink some water, when I felt the water bottle slip out of my hands. My legs crumpled under me, and I fell flat. The back of my head hit the wooden floor, and my eyes rolled to the back of my head. All I wanted was to sleep for as long as possible.

~Sehun’s POV~
I was walking past the practice rooms to go to my dorm to crash, when I heard a loud *THUMP* from one of the practice rooms. Curious, I peeked in the window of the door. Someone was lying on the floor, not moving. I opened the door, and I immediately recognized the neon converse high tops.

I rushed forward and grabbed Summer’s hand. I tried feeling for a pulse, and thankfully I felt her steady heartbeat. I carried her in my arms and jogged to the Exo dorms. I knocked on the door, and Kai opened it. “Se--What happened?”

“Unconscious--She probably fainted,” I said in between breaths.

“Shouldn’t you carry her to the SUGAR dorms?” asked Kai, raising an eyebrow.

“Hyung, you think I would miss a chance like this?” I laughed.

Kai smirked, then opened the door to the bedroom. I set Summer on my bed, and gently placed a blanket over her body.

As I was about to walk out, I heard her talk in her sleep, “I...coffee...sleep forever…” I smiled and glanced one more time at her angelic face, then turned off the lights.

That night, I slept on the couch, but I didn’t mind.

~Summer’s POV~
I opened my eyes as an unfamiliar sounding alarm clock rang out. I lazily opened my eyes and hit the alarm clock. I sat up and looked around. I felt the unfamiliar blankets, and a sweet cologne scent filled my nose. Sehun? I immediately crawled out of the bed. My clothes were from yesterday, and my hair was a mess.

I looked around the bedroom. There was a picture of Sehun with his family, and I picked it up and smiled. There were also several pictures of when he was younger. The pictures were evidence that Sehun had been an ulzzang since a very young age.

I grabbed my jacket from a chair, and tried sneaking out. I quietly turned the door knob, and opened the door. Someone behind me asked, “Going somewhere?”

I tensed. “Uh...” I turned around. Sehun stood there with messy hair and no shirt. I instantly blushed, awkwardly looking at the ground. “Eat breakfast first,” he insisted.

“Fine.” I strode over to the kitchen, where D.O. and Chen were making breakfast. “Summer?!” Both of them exclaimed.

“Having FUN?” Chen and D.O. snickered. I innocently asked, “With whom, may I ask.”

Chen and D.O. both laughed. “SEHUN, duh. He’s head over heels for you.”

I sighed, reminding myself about Kai and my feelings for Kai had increased now.

Speaking of the devil, Kai walked into the kitchen, thankfully, with his shirt on. But his hair was so cute I wanted to go over to him and muss his hair up.

“H-hey,” I stuttered. Chen’s eyebrows raised up, mouthing to D.O. She likes Kai, I could clearly decipher.

I turned my back on those two cuties towards Sehun. Sehun smirked. “Hey, girlfriend.”

I said sarcastically, “Good morning, boyfriend.” By this time all of Exo was in the kitchen, and they laughed loudly, enjoying our show. I thought to myself, Is this all a show? Or maybe Sehun is the one and I don’t actually like Ka- no that couldn’t be. My mind played games with me. Hmm...look at his abs. I pressed my hands to my temples. Wouldn’t you like to kiss him? “No!” I shouted out loud.

Exo looked at me in surprise. Sehun looked concerned. “Is there a problem Summer?” I shook my head. “Nothing, j-just a headache.”

Sehun didn’t believe her. “Come on, get some more rest.”

I grabbed a cup of orange juice from the counter. “Ok.”

Sehun took my hand and dragged me back to his bedroom again. I sat on his bed as he picked a tank to wear. It was just a plain gray one, but it fit him perfectly. I stared at him for a long time, and he stared back with a laugh in his eye. “Does this fit me well?” He asked, like he could read my mind.

I pretended not to have heard. “Wow, it’s almost 7 am, I better get going.” I was about to get off the bed when he pushed me, gently, back down. “Tell me if I look good,” he said with a cute pout.

I laughed. This boy was impossible. “You look wonderful, Sehunnie oppa.”

He smiled, satisfied. “Ok, you can go now!”

I slowly got off his bed and got my coat, when I heard him talk. “Wait a second.”

I whirled back around. “Yes…?”

“Come here.”

I walked back to his bed.

“Sit.”

I sat with a little bit of hesitation.

“Look at me.”

I brought my eyes to meet his, and he smiled.

He leaned in closer, and I looked around to make sure no one saw. I tensed my shoulders, and sat still.

His soft and pale lips made his way onto my lips, and I pressed gently. He rubbed his hands through my hair, making gentle strokes. I wrapped my hands around his waist, and closed my eyes. He began kissing more intense, and more rough. I returned his actions, and we stayed together for only a few more seconds. A loud knock disrupted us. We both quickly sat up. Kai’s head poked through the door. “Summer, your manager wants you.”

I nodded. “Ok, give me a few minutes.”

Kai shut the door, and Sehun looked at Summer. “I never knew you could kiss like that.”

Summer blushed. “Me neither...but that was like nothing I’ve ever experienced.”

Sehun smiled, and helped Summer get her coat on. He kissed her cheek as a farewell.

~Summer's POV~
Throughout the kiss, I could feel butterflies in my stomach. I didn't know that I could even kiss like that. For some reason, although I felt nervous, it felt surprisingly good.

But once the kiss ended, I slightly regretted it. I was also confused. I like Kai, not Sehun. So why did I enjoy the kiss? Ugh, what is happening to you? Have you turned into a slut? I thought. I shook my head, trying to clear the different emotions in my mind.

I walked to SUGAR's dorms. My manager and Minnie were already sitting at the kitchen table. The other SUGAR members were already training.

“Good morning, Summer. Please take a seat.”

I pulled out one of the chairs and sat down.

“So far, none of the fans have found out that you two are dating Kai and Sehun. We would like to keep it that way until after the teasers have been released. You may still continue to go on dates and...do things. But keep in mind that you two will be very busy the next few weeks.”

I nodded, the words going in one ear and out the other. My mind was still on the kiss that had happened just a few moments ago.

~2 days later~
Minnie had been training very hard to prepare for the first teaser for SUGAR. It was the day before the actually shooting of the teaser, and other people kept telling her that she was excellent and ready, but she didn’t feel that way. She practiced late into the night, but the uneasiness was still there.

Kai heard music playing from one of the practice rooms. He looked at his watch. It was already 11 pm, and the next day, Exo had an early schedule. He always left practice the latest; everyone else was already sleeping.

He opened the door without a sound. He peeked in, and saw Minnie dancing her heart out, sweating and tired. He tiptoed into the room, and Minnie, concentrated, didn’t notice him. When she finally finished the dance, she heard someone applauding. She snapped out of her dancing mode, quickly turning around, and saw Kai.

“Hey, you should be asleep.” She said. Kai looked worried. “No, you should be asleep. You’re probably going to faint if you keep on practicing so much.” She smiled, glad that he cared. “Well, I want to make my skills as good as the can be.” Kai laughed. She was just like him when Exo first filmed their teaser.

“I know you’re nervous, but trust me, there’s no need to be. You’re the best female dancer I’ve seen in a long time. You’ve been practicing for a long time, I can’t point out any flaws,” Kai comforted Minnie.

Minnie felt more confident, but she was still uncertain. “I’m pretty sure that you’re just saying that to make me feel better.” Kai shook his head. “Of course not. I’m just being honest. And not to brag or anything, but I’m one of the best dancers in the K-Pop entertainment industry. So if I say you’re good, then you’re definitely good.”

Minnie smiled, and walked over to Kai. “Thanks. Let’s both get some rest.”

Kai put his hand out to her. “Wait. First I need something.”

Minnie, confused, asked, “What?”

Kai’s smirk widened, and he pulled Minnie towards him with one arm. From his strong grip, Minnie couldn’t move, her face an inch away from Kai’s. Kai leaned in closer, and pressed his lips to Minnie’s for just a second. But that was enough. Minnie blushed a deep red, and her eyes widened. Butterflies exploded everywhere in her stomach, and she would’ve squealed, he kissed so damn good.

She managed to maintain her face in a neutral expression, and said a good night to Kai.

Kai watched her with a sense of accomplishment, and love.
