Gratefulness~ pt.2

"You're in danger, you're in danger"

At 4 pm someone knocks on my door. I zip up my evening dress and admire it's sparkle in the mirror. I rush to open the door and GD is standing behind it. We are just about to leave for the award gala and other Asian artists are also participating. GD and Taeyang will perform there and I guess that Bangtan Boys is also invited on the stage.

GD moves a loose wisp behind my ear.
"Oh!" I take a bobby pin from the table.
I get my silvery and glittery small diamond handbag and take a last look at myself. I stroke my shimmering dress, check my curly hair and how my dark but discreet makeup fits with all. My high heels can barely be seen because the dress is so long. Of course I'm also wearing the heart medallion. I look absolutely like a throphy cup.
"You look beautiful", GD flatters and I smile at him.
"Thank you. I look like a trophy, don't I?"
"You are the only trophy I need", he answers and takes my hand. Ji kisses the back of my hand and I have to remind me again to keep breathing. Inhale, exhale, in and out...
He has picked himself a dark suit which has some glitter and leather patches. The dark green bow, ankle boots and long chain earring with text SwagOn crown the whole outfit.
I couldn't be anymore proud. Here I am standing beside a rich man and I feel like I had grown up under a week. We look like we were made to each other here in front of the mirror. If I were someone else, I'd shout: "I ship it!"

I arrive at the gala in GD's car, the other members come with Taeyang. There's so many cars that we have to queue for half an hour. We drive in the area reserved for celebrities. GD parks the car next to 2ne1's and YG's vans.
Inside we are guide to our own seats, there's also a seat reserved especially for me at G-Dragon's table. We are on the deck near the stage and the fangirl inside me is screaming. Today I'm going to make a fool of myself when I finally get to see all the stars performing together on one stage. Man, I will get wild.
I can see SM Entertainment's Girls' Generation judging me as I sit on my seat. I try not to pay attention to them. A cameraman brings his huge camera in front of us. He's filming G-Dragon and he greets quickly. Ji's sitting quietly and observing the surroundings and checking who else have made it to the gala. He waves at someone and smiles his cute smile. I always get into a good mood when I see that smile. It's so perfect.

Taeyang, on my other side, nudges me and I look at him confused. What? I make faces. He nods at the other side of the stage to show me something. There's sitting a beautiful woman who tries to avoid looking at us but something always makes her to glance here.
Kiko? Oh yes, it's her. I take a look at Taeyang and gulp. He pats my knee a few times to comfort me. To tell me that I don't need to worry. I smile at him and turn back to GD.
He leans towards me and whispers:
"This is gonna last so long. I am already bored." Then he laughs a little and I poke him ligthly to his arm.
"Don't be so rude."
"But I don't want to sit still", he whines and moves restlessy like a little child. Tae and I laugh at his monkey business and I can feel Kiko's freezing stare on my cheek. But I don't care. Today we're going to show how good we look together. Furthermore, Kiko's bright outfit doesn't match at all with GD's colors. They couldn't even sit next to each other and look as good as we do.

After a few performances comes G-Dragon and Taeyang's time to leave to the backstage for preparations.
GD touches my shoulder lightly and whispers: "Just try to act like you enjoy it." Do you really think that I wouldn't enjoy your performance? I may become a crazy woman and jump down on the stage and you are going to have to catch me! I think to myself and laugh a little.
I grap a water bottle and move to sit with Daesung, Seungri and TOP.
CL gets up on the stage as the intro "Nan nappeun gijibae.." plays and she slays it. CL is defenitely one of my favorite female singers, if not the number one. I also like her fashion sense. I can't help but to sway along the music. I dance with Daesung as good as we can while sitting on the seats and we sing along too. They show off my face on the screen for a moment; I show a few dance moves and then I smile embarrassed and hug Daesung.

"Where all my bad gals at?" CL hosts after her song and peers over the audience.
"There is one girl I'd like to bring on the stage!" she shouts and the speakers echo her words. The fan pack scream as they can't wait to get on the stage.
"One girl, I really, really like!"
The fans scream again. Big Bang members and I are watching around. I look at Seungri curiously but he turns up his nose and shrugs to indicate that he has no idea what CL has been planning.
"One very special and beautiful babe! Please..." CL is streching time and the fans quiet down.
"Welcome, Mineeha!"
The fans scream a little confused and my heart skips a few beats. 'The Baddest Female' starts to play quietly and Daesung pushes me up. I utter an akward laughter and then suddenly all of the cameras and spotlights are directed to me.
"Where's my bad girl, huh?" CL changes the lyrics and points at me as I walk down the stairs. I can't help but to dance as the beat pumps. CL comes to the edge of the stage and pulls me up.
"Time to party, right?" she laughs and I laugh back at her akwardly. I try to relax but thousands of people are staring at me, a little person in the middle of the stage. The fans are squeling and waiting for me to say something.
"Right, gal?" CL repeats and pushes the mic in front of my face. I'm embarrassed... I cover my mouth, giggle and nod a little as an answer. CL grabs me around my shoulders and shouts:
"Let's turn it uuup! DIRTY VIBE!"
And at the very moment the stage starts to vibrate and the fans start jumping like crazy as a reaction. The happy chills rush through me and I jam in the background as the music louders. Soon CL comes to me and we jump together at the part when GD sings "Jump on that! Jump on that!". We dance together and I encourage myself to have fun to the fullest with her. The fans are dancing furiously along the music and the backup dancers are showing an example.

In the middle of the song, also G-Dragon climbs up on the stage and I can see that he has changed in swaggier clothes, although no matter what he wears becomes swag. He's wearing extremely cool white leather jacket with golden flounces.
I get embarrassed as I see him walking on the stage looking so tough. He takes his black sunglasses off and the fans scream over the music. I cover my mouth again to stop myself from screaming and fangirling. When GD's rap part comes, he approaches me and it's really very hard to control myself at that situation. His stage charisma is something so unbelievable. I almost fall on my butt but, luckily, just almost.
G-Dragon takes my hand and spins me around slowly. I giggle and let them perform in the front. Ji comes back to me and wraps his arm around my shoulders and we sway along the music. We also wave holding our hands together with CL at the end of the song.
When the music stops, GD takes my hand and walks me back to the stairs like a real gentleman. CL hosts me off the stage:
"I love her! I LO-VE HER! Please, love her too! She is my new swaggy ass friend, Mineeha!"
I feel so proud of the fact that CL called be swaggy and I giggle the rest of the evening just because of that. That just made my day...

CL and GD perform 'The Leaders' together and then comes Taeyang's turn to get on the stage. CL comes to sit on GD's seat and we chat about this and that. Then she leaves somewhere.
Daesung and Seungri glance at me in the middle of the performance and they are looking quite serious. Also TOP is staring at me at the end of the row. Seungri pokes my shoulder and I stretch towards him to hear what he hast to say. But then he shows off his mobile phone.
Kiko has sent him a message.
It says: "[Korean] kill that bitch. [Korean] Fackin [Korean]"
I look at Seungri, I don't understand anything. Because the music is so loud, he explains the text message to me by writing a new one.
"Kiko wants to kill you."
As I read it, my eyes get bigger. Is she serious? I stare at Seungri. I'm looking pale. He looks at me hovering and shrugs. I can't believe what I just saw.
At this point, Taeyang comes back to sit down on his own seat and I move back to my chair. GD is still in the backstage. Seungri shows the message to Tae too and he understands it right away. I look at the beautiful woman sitting on the floor level, smiling at her friends. She's a real devil in disguise.
Taeyang puts his hand on my shoulder and whispers: "I will protect you". How friendly of him. I feel myself a little more safe but still, Kiko's message frightens me.
What if she's serious? If she is so obsessively attached to G-Dragon, even though she keeps hurting my bias time after time? She needs help, for God's sake. I have stepped on Kiko's toes.
Taeyang is following my look which I direct to that crazy but happy-looking woman. Tae makes me look at him by turning my head gently with his hand.
"Don't you worry", I can read from his lips. "I will protect you. We will protect you."
I nod nervously and try to enjoy the rest of the shows, although I'm afraid that Kiko is going to pull a gun out of her bag and shoot my brains out.

Yes, they are sweet to us, no matter what and love us a lot. Some Koreans may just not really care if they date/marry foreigners, but not all of them.
Yes, I agree as well. Personnally, me being a Canadian, I will alow myself to say this: nowadays, it is very hard to find good music that DOESN'T talk about, sex, drugs, money, alcohol and more. They have probably been raised well, but because they have more free time than kpop idols, the fame and arrogance can get to their heads. I mean, look at Jusying Bieber! No offense, but he's far worse than ever and I just am ashamed of him coming from my country and displaying all his problems publicly. No offense, once more. Plus, Korean songers and groups have to dance in their performances most of the time, as in 99% of the time. They have dramas, variety and reality shows, practice, recording, radio shows, hosting, and much mkre, leaving them almost no free time at all. Back here, they almost all have free time to do what they want, they don't practice as much (or maybe they do?), most of them don't dance, most of them don't go to radio/variety/reality shows, most of them don't host, etc. I won't continue naming all the positive and negative differenc3s in between kpop idols and other idols (mostly from North America), because the list could go on forever and my fingers would fall off from so much typing. Well, we can't do anything about it, except hope for the best for american music and idols to change a little bit for the better.

Yeah, I think exactly the same way too! I love that you're thinking like that, you are very wise! ::)
After all they are just working people like everybody else too. Even though I may consider some kpop idol boys hot xD (I actually like being single too, I have had too many bad relationships and I don't want to date anymore...) I mean for example G-Dragon, my ub, I'd just like to be friends with him, get inside of his mind and thoughts, and share things with him, know what he thinks about everything... He's "too old" and far away from me, if you know what I mean, and Korean guys really don't like to have serious relationships with other than Korean women anyways so it's basically not possible to date kpop idols as a foreigner... I think too that many kpop idols are very nice and friendly! :) they take care of their fans no matter how curious and sneaky the fans always are. And they don't get really snobby and like "hey, look at me! I am a kpop idol, everybody loves me!" And I actually think that's because they work so hard (too much when we compare to f.ex. American etc. artists, not that they don't work hard too but kpop idols work harder than anyone) and that's the result: polite and humble artists. They don't get every penny they earn to buy fancy cars and clothes and stuff to show to other people how rich and famous they are (unless they haven't worked hard for a very long time like GD) and they don't really have time to become arrogant. And kpop idols/Koreans have been taught to good manners because of their culture. It's interesting and respectable. There is something good about strict working hours and idol lifestyle in whole, it makes the idols respect others, but of course they're naturally nice people too. :) You can see clearly who's kind by his/her nature and who has been just told to act nicer in front of the camera.

I knooooooow! And I was so stupid to not go say hi or something!!! T^T tThat is a once in a life time tjing for someone who lives in Montreal!!!! DX But yup, it would be cool to be like, all friendly and all with kpop idol. In fact, I don't necessarily like them for how they look or because they're famous, but because I like their personnality! ^_^ They seem really nice and I think they would be good friends. ^_^ I have very few friends (not that there is no one to be friends with, I mean, there are over 3 million people on this tiny sliver of the island where I live!! O_o). But the friends I have, I know them very well and understand them very well. And I really think that some idols could be awesome friends (not looking for a boyfriend... I'm too young. :P)!! Wouldn't you?

Omg!!!! You're so lucky!!!! XD Wahhh! Why can't I live in Finland!!!!
And you will never believe what I think I saw which was actually reality!! You know Zelo from BAP? Well, I was on the Mont Royal a few weeks ago and was just strolling and all, and then I hear this guy speaking Korean. Me being me, I turned around and I thought I saw someone who REALLY looked like Zelo!! But I thought I was just halucinating and all! Or that it was just a random look alike!! The, a few days ago, I go on a Montreal kpop Facebook fanpage and guess what I see! It was a picture of Zelo in Montreal on the Mont Royal! And it just happened to be on the same day I was on the Mont Royal!!! I am sure it's Montreal because of the Olympic Stadium in the backgroud, the view which the Mont Royal is mostly known for, the same railing, everything that proved that it was him!!! And I actually saw him but thought he was a random dude who looked like Zelo!!! DX I feel so stupid for not even having tried to see if it was him or something!!!! DX That was probably the first and maybe only time any kpop idol/group ever came to Montreal!!! I missed my chance!!! But at least I saw him, and I'm pretty lucky for that. ^_^ I still can't get over it!!!!! XD
