Finding You & Me

The next day came and it was [December 25th, THURSDAY] Christmas Day. Since Addy were finished with the designs, it gave her time to herself to relax and do whatever she wanted. So that morning, Addy woke up early to go to church on Christmas morning since she hasnt been there in so long. She thought she would give her blessings at church on Christmas morning. Afterwards, Addy went to her parents and younger sisters grave which were nearby with a bouqet of flowers in hand. Addy got a chance to just sit down and enjoy the breeze with her family there even though they werent physical there. Then Addy went back to the company to clean up around. She went back to her apartment afterwards to rest up. That night, Addy couldnt stop thinking about if she should meet Mark at Disneyland or not but she had an answer by the morning. The next morning was [December 26th, FRIDAY]. Addy woke up and met with Michelle Man at a coffee shop near the company to talk and give the sketch book to her at [9AM].

Addy : i'm glad you could make it.
Michelle : anything for the designs.
Addy (*slids over the sketch book towards Michelle)
Michelle (*takes a look at the designs)
[A moment later]
Michelle : these sketches are different from your usual. (*looks up at Addy)
Michelle : did you draw these yourself ?
Addy : yes, i did.
Michelle : i thought you had people who do it for you.
Addy : everyone is on vacation so it was really up to me to sketch them on my own.
Michelle : these are really good. why dont you ever sketch them yourselves ?
Addy : because i want others to have a chance at designing them too.
Addy : im glad that you liked it.
Michelle : i will definitely bring these up to the board and let them approve it.
Michelle : im going to get back with the results with you soon.
Michelle : im so sorry about calling you out on the holidays.
Addy : i understand that its for the board and they really need it.
Addy : you want to give them what they want, your just doing your job Michelle.
Michelle : i know. i have to get going now.
Addy : right. thank you again Michelle.
Michelle : thank you to you too Addy. Happy holidays.
Addy : you too.

After Michelle left the coffee shop, it left Addy time to head back to the company to do one last thing before heading out. Addy went to the company to put a flower on everyone's desk and just to write a note saying "Happy Holidays from yours truly". Addy looked at her watch afterwards and saw that it was already 10:45AM and she was already late. So Addy locked up the company and drove to Disneyland to meet with Mark and his family. When Addy arrived at the parking lot of the park, she quick fix her hair and headed to the entrance to meet everyone. She saw so many people there like Mr.Tuan, Mrs. Tuan, Mark, GOT7, Tammy, Kaylie, Grace, Joey, and 3 of Mark's close guy friends there. Addy were surprised to see how many people there were and took a deep breath heading towards them.

Tammy : Addy.
Addy : Hey Tammy.
Mr. Tuan (*to Addy) : you must be Tammy's boss.
Addy : Yes, i am. im Adaleina but you can just call me Addy.
Mr. Tuan : its nice to finally meet you.
Mrs. Tuan : Its nice to meet you too Addy. its been a while since we last met.
Addy : Yes, its been a while.
Addy (*hands Mr. & Mrs. Tuan the gift bag & says) : these are for the both of you.
Mr. Tuan (*accepts the gift & asks) : what is it ?
Mrs. Tuan : you didnt have to get us anything.
Addy : my mom would always say to gift a family on their first meeting.
Addy : its just something to keep you both healthy.
Mr. Tuan : thank you so much.
Mrs. Tuan : you didnt have to, thank you.
Addy : its nothing really.
Mr. Tuan (*tells everyone) : you guys stay here, im going to be the tickets.

Everyone followed ordered from Mr. Tuan and stood there just talking. Addy was looking through her purse for her wallet to go buy a ticket when Mark came beside her giving her the ticket.

Mark (*lifts up the ticket in front of Addy)
Addy (*looks up from her purse & sees the ticket)
Mark : dont worry about it. its for you.
Addy (*smiles & turns to Mark asking) : when did you buy it ?
Mark : earlier. take it.
Addy (*takes the ticket from Mark's hand & says) : thank you. (*smiles)
Tammy (*drifts over in between Mark & Addy saying) : be careful.
Tammy : Dad is watching you both.
Addy : sorry.
Tammy : i'm just saying.

Then Mr. Tuan came back with the tickets and pass them out to everyone one by one. They all went inside of the entrance leaving Addy and Mark in the back. When Addy was about to take a walk, Kaylie grabbed Addy's hand with Mark standing next to them.

Kaylie (*holds onto Addy's hand)
Addy (*looks down at sees Kaylie there & kneels down at Kaylie's level)
Addy : you must be Kaylie.
Kaylie : how did you know ?
Addy : your mom tells me a lot about you.
Kaylie : im glad that she did.
Addy (*laughs & says) : so do you like Disneyland ?
Kaylie : of course ! its my favorite place in the whole wide world.
Addy : me too. lets go.
Kaylie (*holds onto Mark's hand & says) : you go too uncle Mark.

Both Addy and Mark were pulled by Kaylie into the park, around the park. Tammy was happy to see them bonding. As everyone else were walking from behind, Tammy and her mom talked while walking inside with everyone else.

Mom : Tammy.
Tammy (*looks over at her mom & says) : huh ?
Mom : you do know that you left Kaylie with Mark.
Tammy : i know.
Mom : and your not concerned ?
Tammy : no. its fine. he's with Addy and i trust her with him.
Mom : if you say so.
Mom : so tell me, who is this Addy girl ? she isnt just your boss, is she ?
Tammy : mom.
Mom : i want to know now.
Tammy : Mark and Addy met in Las Vegas couple of days ago.
Tammy : they got closer to each other there.
Mom : and she knew about him coming back to LA how ?
Tammy : they both talked and she had to come back to LA to work on designs.
Tammy : it was for Michelle Man.
Tammy : she's staying here until tonight, thats when she goes back to Las Vegas.
Mom : and she went to Las Vegas by herself ?
Tammy : she went with her 3 best girlfriends for a mini vacation.
Mom : i see now.
Tammy : its wasnt just a coincidence mom. she had to come back.
Tammy : she really respects our family time.
Tammy : thats why when she came back to LA, she didnt ask Mark to hang out.
Tammy : she knew that family is important to him so she didnt bother him.
Tammy : thats how much she cares about people's privacy.
Mom : what about her family ?
Tammy : she has no family. her parents and younger sister died when she was younger.
Tammy : and or couple years ago.
Mom : thats tragic.
Tammy : it is. thats why she loves this company more than anything.
Tammy : its the only thing she has left.
Mom : i didnt know that about her, now that you told me.
Tammy : thats why i stuck with her and worked at the company for her.
Tammy : i love my job a lot.
Mom : why dont you try telling her that ?
Tammy : i have many times and she is happy to have me.

After a whole day with spending time with Mark and Kaylie, Addy felt really happy. She missed being a kid again. After hours of being at the park, it was time for Addy to leave to the airport so Mark took Kaylie and Addy back to the park entrance where they saw everyone there. Addy said her goodbyes to Mark's family. Kaylie couldnt let go of Addy's hand but Addy told her that she was going to leave and maybe come back to see Kaylie again. Addy was sadden of saying goodbye to everyone. After doing so, Mark and Addy stood to the side to talk for a little while before Addy drove off to the airport.

Mark : so this is it ?
Addy (*shakes her head & says) : i dont want to.
Mark : i dont either.
Addy : i really enjoy today Mark and i wish we could do it again soon.
Addy : thank you for today.
Mark (*smiles & says) : im glad that you likes it.
[Mark pulls out a small box from his pocket and gives it to Addy]
Addy (*accepts the box & asks) : whats this ?
Mark : its a Christmas and goodbye gift from me.
[Addy opens the box and surprised to see two rings with her wide eyes]
Addy (*looks up at Mark & says) : their promise rings.
Mark : its not much but i hope that when we're far from each other,
Mark : you can always wear that and remind yourself that im there with you.
Addy (*smiles & says) : its more than enough Mark. i love it. thank you.
Mark : im glad that you liked it. (*smiles)

Mark walked Addy to her car in the parking lot and stood in front of her car. Then Mark came towards Addy to give her one last hug and kissed her forehead. He then set her off and she drove away. The next thing you know is that Addy is at the airport waiting at her gate. As she was sitting there waiting for her gate to open, she kept on looking at the ring on her right finger. She smiled and then the announcement called her flight number and she was off to Las Vegas again.
