Finding You & Me

It was [December 24th, WEDNESDAY] Christmas Eve. That morning, everyone was still sleeping when Tammy sneaked out of her parents house to go to the company to see how Addy was doing on the designs. When Tammy got to the company, there was a huge delivery from the flower shop. There were 3 big vases of different assorted flowers along with single wrapped roses. The delivery guy was waiting in front of the company for someone to come out and Tammy spotted him asking him what was wrong. Tammy helped sign the delivery signature and the delivery guy left. Then Tammy took a look at the note and it had an initial like "~M" and from that moment Tammy knew who it was from. In her mind, it was Mark. She quickly called Mark on her cellphone.

Mark (*answers his cellphone & says) : Hello ?
Tammy (*screams through the phone) : YA!
Mark : whats the matter ?
Tammy : why would you send a billion flowers right now ?!?
Mark : im sorry Tammy. i thought it would be nice for everyone to receive some.
Tammy : if they were here !
Mark : im guessing their not there ?
Tammy : you got that right !
Mark : stop screaming at me Tammy !
Tammy : what else do you want me to do ? how am i suppose to bring these up ?
Tammy : you know what ? nevermind, i'll do it myself. BYE !

Tammy was so upset and hung up the phone on Mark right away. Then Tammy called Addy on the phone who was at the coffee shop couple blocks away from the company.

Addy (*picks up the phone) : Hello ?
Tammy : hey Addy, are you in your office right now ?
Addy : no, im at a coffee shop near the company. why ?
Tammy : there's a massive delivery for you in front of the company.
Tammy : you should come and check it out.
Addy : alright, im coming right now. give me like 5 minutes.
Tammy : okay.

Tammy was still upset at Mark and couldn't get over the fact that he ordered so much for Addy and the company. After promising 5 minutes, Addy came in front of the building to see Tammy there. Addy was surprise of how much order there were. Then she helped Tammy bring all of them up to the main floor. While they were bringing them up, Tammy pretended to ask who the flowers were from already knowing it was from Mark.

Tammy : whose "M" Addy ?
Addy (*questions) : "M" ?
Addy (*remembers & says) : Mark. He was someone i'd met while i was in Las Vegas.
Tammy : he must like you to a point where he buys you a billion of flowers.
Addy (*blushes & smiles)
Tammy (*looks at Addy & asks) : do you like him too ?
Addy (*looks up & questions) : is it wrong to ?
Tammy : there's nothing wrong with that. you like him and he likes you. its normal.
Tammy : so what do you like about him ?
Addy : he's really good looking and he's someone i could talk to.
Addy : when it came to Alex, he wasnt like that.
Addy : Mark is different in his own way. theres something about him.
Addy : im not quite sure what it is really.
Tammy : of all the years ive known you, ive never heard you talk about someone like that.
Tammy : its been so long.
Addy (*smiles & says) : i guess he changed me.
Tammy (*smiles & says) : im glad your happy with him.
Addy : im not technically with him. im not sure what we are. friends ?
Tammy : your not just friends if its like this. i think its much more Addy.
Addy : i havent talked to him for 2 days.
Addy : he's spending time with his family. i dont want to bother him in his family time.
Tammy : you should give him a call.
Addy (*cellphone rings & tells Tammy) : speaking of which.
Tammy : is that him ?
Addy (*nods & answer the phone in her office)
Mark : Hey.
Addy : Hi...... how are you ?
Mark : im great actually. what about you ?
Addy : ive been good too. im back in LA for an emergency.
Mark : let me guess..... something happen to the company ?
Addy : yeah. a person who works for the spring line wants the design by the 26th.
Mark : thats in 2 days. how are you going to manage to get it done in 2 days ?
Addy : i finished them yesterday already. their sitting right here in front of me right now.
Mark : thats my girl !
Mark : now that you are done early with the designs, what are you going to do ?
Addy : i think im going to stay here and work on more designs until the 26th.
Mark : you are the design hero. haha.
Addy : i wouldnt say hero. haha.
Mark : you are !
Addy : i forgot to ask. how was your family ?
Mark : their good. i finally saw Tammy and Kaylie when we came home.
Mark : i was so happy and Tammy too.
Mark : you should have seen her reaction when she saw us.
Addy : im glad you guys reunited once again.
Mark : thanks Addy, for everything.
Addy : no need to thank me for anything.
Mark : i should ! you were too generous on the Christmas present. i shouldnt accept it.
Addy : its for you and the members.
Mark : you are too generous, what do you have to say for yourself ?
Addy : Merry Christmas ?
Mark (*laughs through the phone)
Addy : i still feel strange after talking to Tammy after what you told me.
Addy : its not the same anymore that i know the truth.
Mark : just approach her like you normally do.
Addy : its still strange. i want to talk to her about everything, but i cant.
Mark : why cant you ? are you perhaps scared ?
Addy (*tone in denial) : im not scared.
Mark : you so are. i can hear it in your voice.
Addy : okay, maybe a little.
Mark : my sister isnt that scary, to be honest.
Addy : all sisters are scary.
Mark : when the time is right, just tell her.
Mark : i forgot to ask you !
Mark : are you doing anything on the 26th besides submitting the designs ?
Addy : im flying back to Las Vegas the night of, why ?
Mark : what time is your flight ?
Addy : its at 7 but i have to get there by 6:30.
Mark : do you want to join us at Disneyland before you go back ?
Mark : we can use an extra hand.
Addy : that sounds like fun but i wouldnt want to bother your family time.
Mark : its fine. i'll tell my family about you. You can be Tammy's guest.
Addy : alright.
Mark : sounds good then ?
Addy : definitely.
Mark : i'll meet you at the entrance of the park at 12pm.
Addy : okay. i have to go now, see you later ?
Mark : yeah, i'll see you later.
Addy : bye Mark ! (*smiles through the phone)
Mark (*smiles & says) : bye Addy !

Both of them hunged up the phone at the same time. Afterwards, Tammy came into Addy's office to talk to her giving Addy a chance to ask Tammy something about her life.

Addy : i wasnt going to bring this up.
Tammy : bring what up boss ?
Addy : do you have a daughter that i dont know about ?
Tammy : you met with my brother, Mark, why are you still asking me ?
Addy : because i wanted to hear it from you.
Addy : and its true, i did meet your brother.
Tammy : i do have a daughter and her name is Kaylie.
Addy : how old is she ?
Tammy : she's 9 years old.
Addy : whose the father of the child ?
Tammy : his name is Jeffrey Lee.
Tammy : he left me after he found out that i gave birth to his child.
Addy : where is he now ?
Tammy : i dont know. i havent seen him since.
Addy : if he ever comes back, dont you dare let him in your life again.
Addy : you got that ?
Tammy (*nods & says) : i understand.
Tammy : what about my job ? arent you going to fire me ?
Addy : no. im going to think about it first what to do with you.
Addy : you still work for me in the mean time.
Addy : i'll give you an answer after i get back from Las Vegas.
Tammy : i understand.
Addy : Mark just invited me to Disneyland with your family on the 26th.
Tammy : and what did you say ?
Addy : i didnt want to burden his family time but he insisted i go as your guest.
Addy : tell me, should i go ?
Tammy : that is if you want but im not forcing you to. Mark would want to see you again.
Addy : if i do go, i can only stick around until 6:30 that night.
Tammy : your flight is at 7 ?
Addy : yeah.
Tammy : then you should go Addy and see Mark again if that's what you want.
