Brunch & Date.
The next morning came and it was [December 22nd, MONDAY]. There wasnt a lot planned for the day for Addy and her friends. Since it was early morning, Aria and Caroline was already awake and headed to the lobby in the coffee shop buying some coffee for Kris and Addy. After a while, they came back to the hotel room together. Caroline was holding the coffee cups up to the room. At this time, Addy and Kris was awake and getting ready for the day. Kris was doing her make up while Addy was sitting on the edge of the bed looking through her messages from Mark. It read, "Good morning sunshine. I hope you slept well last night. I just wanted to let you know that im leaving tomorrow back to LA to spend Christmas with my family. I was wondering if you wanted to hang out one last time before i leave. Just message me back and yeah. - Mark". After reading that, Addy was sad that Mark was going to leave back to LA for the holidays and she understood that he has to go back. And so Addy texted him back saying, "Hey Mark. I'm not sure if the girls have anything planned but if not then we sure can hang out together. I will text you as soon as i get some news about our day. -Addy". Afterwards, Caroline walked towards Kris first to give her the cup of coffee and then giving the other cup to Addy. She took it and took a sip from her cup.
Caroline (*gives Addy the cup of coffee)
Addy (*accepts the cup from Caroline & says) : Thanks.
Aria (*asks everyone) : so are you guys ready to go out to brunch yet ?
Kris : yeah, we're ready.
Aria and Caroline were standing by the door while Kris and Addy were getting their purse and putting on their shoes. Then the four of them headed to Paris for brunch. As they were sitting there looking at the nice scenary and taking pictures together, Mark's family were making their way to Paris for brunch as well. While waiting for their foods to be serve, Addy thought she told her girlfriends about Mark and last night.
Addy : have you guys ever talk to a stranger like you know them your entire life ?
Caroline : dont we all tell each other everything ?
Addy : we are, but we're not strangers.
Aria : why do you ask Addy ?
Addy : the guy yesterday that i met.
Kris : the one that found your ring ?
Addy : yeah, Mark. We hunged out last night after we came from dinner.
Addy : we talked about our personal stuff and he seems to understand me.
Addy : its weird but he understands me a different.
Addy : its not the way that Alex does, its different.
Addy : I cant tell Alex everything, but with Mark, i can.
Caroline : are you sure he's not a random stranger ?
Addy : the thing is that he's not. he's a kpop idol from JYP Entertainment.
Aria : if im not mistaken, the one in Korea ?
Addy : yeah.
Kris : and whats the problem ? you can tell him anything and everything.
Addy : both of our lives have a barrier in between each other.
Caroline : you mean that he's a superstar and your just an average girl ?
Addy : exactly. and he wants to hang out again before he goes home to LA for the holidays.
Addy : i dont know what to do.
Aria (*jokes around) : it sounds like you found your soulmate Addy.
Addy : its not funny Aria.
Aria : sorry, i was trying to make you feel better.
Mark and his family walked up to the person to get a table. While doing so, Kris looked up from Addy and saw Mark standing there. Then Kris said to Addy, "Speaking of which, Mark's here with his family". Caroline, Aria, and Addy all turned around at once to look at Mark. Addy was surprised when she made eye contact with Mark when she turned over to see him. Then Mark slightly waved to Addy and she smiled back at him. Then Addy went back to eating again. While Addy was eating, she got a phone call from Tammy regardless of Penny. So Addy excused herself from the table to go outside of the restaurant to talk on the phone. Mark looked at Addy as she zooms out of the restaurant.
Addy (*picks up her cellphone) : Hello ?
Tammy : Addy.
Addy (*recognizes Tammy & says) : Tammy, whats the matter ?
Tammy : Penny called.
Addy : what did she say ?
Tammy : she said that the lease of the location has been confirmed.
Tammy : the lease owner wants to meet the master behind HBA clothing.
Addy : when did the owner want to meet ?
Tammy : this afternoon at 12pm. it takes place near urban outfitters.
Addy (*looks at the clock & realizes that it was already 11am)
Addy : im currently having brunch with the girls.
Addy : i dont know when ill be done.
Tammy : todays the only day the owner is free despite the holidays.
Addy : alright, i'll try to work something out.
Addy : whats the owners name ?
Tammy : Julie Zhou.
Addy : did Penny leave a phone number of the owner for you ?
Tammy : yes, she did.
Addy : text it to me afterwards.
Addy : also, i want to take a look at the new designs from the design department.
Addy : send it to me via email. i will take a look at it later when i have time.
Tammy : yes ma'am.
Addy : and Tammy ?
Tammy : yeah ?
Addy : tell everyone to take tomorrow off for the holidays.
Addy : i want them to go home to their families.
Addy : it leaves them time to go anywhere they like.
Tammy : i understand. i will tell them all after this.

After talking to Tammy, Addy walked back to her table with the girls. As she was finishing her plate of food, she got a text from Mark saying....

Mark : Are you alright ?
Addy : you saw me rush out of the room, didnt you ?
Mark : haha, i saw. i dont know about the others though.
Addy : haha, im glad you noticed then.
Mark : is everything alright ?
Addy : Tammy called and just told me some news about the company.
Mark : its looks like she is doing her job really well.
Addy : i must say, she is an amazing piece of art. :)
Addy : thats right, she should be coming home tomorrow just in time for you to get back.
Mark : :O really ? isnt she working until Christmas Eve ?
Addy : i gave everyone at the office an extra day off.
Mark : Wow ! thats so nice of you. Thanks Addy.
Addy : haha, no problem.
Addy looked up from her cellphone and smiled at Mark making him smile back as well. After having brunch together, the four girls walked towards the casino area of the hotel and stood there talking before doing their individual activities.
Aria : so, do we have any plans today ?
Kris : we should split up and hang by ourselves.
Caroline (*realize what Kris was talking about & asks) : your going to gamble, are you ?
Kris (*says in denial) : maybe.
Caroline (*hangs onto Kris & begs) : can i come with you ? i want to learn how to play.
Kris (*signals to Caroline to come) : come, i'll teach you the ways my child.
Kris and Caroline then dashed off to gamble together leaving Addy and Aria standing there talking before Aria drifts off somewhere by herself.
Addy : where are you going Aria ?
Aria : i think im going to do some shopping. i wanted to buy a gift for Lia.
Addy : alright. are we still meeting up for dinner later ?
Aria : of course. see you later.
Addy (*waves with one hand & says) : bye.
Aria left walking out of the hotel to go shopping. Addy just stood there looking through her cellphone finding out what to do for the day. Then Mark came and stood beside her.
Mark (*says behind Addy) : Hey.
Addy (*shocked & turns to see Mark)
Mark : im sorry, did i scare you ?
Addy (*smiles & says) : a little.
Addy : what are you doing here ? i thought you were with your family and members ?
Mark : well, they kind of ditched me.
Addy : why did they do that ?
Mark : my parents wanted alone time and the members all split up.
Addy : and they left you alone here ?
Mark : most likely.
Addy : poor you.
Mark : what about you ?
Addy : im no different too. (*smiles)
Mark : any plans for yourself ?
Addy : i have to go meet someone for my company.
Mark (*nods & says) : ah, i see.
Addy : do you want to come with ?
Mark : could i ? i have no plans as well.
Addy : sure. (*smiles)
Then Addy and Mark headed to the lease location near urban outfitters. When they got there, Addy spotted Julie Zhou standing there waiting for someone and Addy approached her with Mark behind her.
Addy : Hi. You must be Julie Zhou, the owner of the lease.
Julie : Yes, thats me.
Addy : Im Adaleina from HBA Clothing Company.
Julie : the master behind HBA ?
Addy (*smiles & says) : if you put it like that then yes i am.
Julie (*shakes her hand with Addy & says) : its nice to finally meet you, im Julie.
Addy : its nice to meet you too. you can just call me Addy.
Addy (*introduces Mark to Julie) : this is a friend of mine, Mark Tuan.
Julie (*shakes hand with Mark & says) : its nice to meet you.
Mark : its nice to meet you too Julie.
Julie (*says to Addy) : we dont have much time, why dont we go inside ?
Julie : you can start designing when we go inside.
Addy : that sounds great.
Addy, Julie, and Mark went inside to take a look around. Julie showed Addy the interiors and where everything was. After a while, Julie had to leave because she had a conference meeting and left Addy and Mark there to finish up the interior design. Julie also left Addy the keys to the space for her to keep since its hers now. Addy spent the entire afternoon figuring out where she wanted to put the racks and clothes. After being done with everything, Addy and Mark headed out and locked up the place safely. At this same time, Aria was shopping around the area and saw Addy and Mark standing in front of the lease location of the mall. When Aria was about to walk towards Addy, JB who came out of nowhere bumped into her. Aria said "sorry" to JB and JB just continued on walking towards Mark and Addy. Aria was watching from the side and couldn't believe that Addy was hanging out with Mark.
JB (*calls out Mark) : Hyung !
Mark (*turns his head to see JB & says) : JB.
JB (*looks at Mark & then to Addy) : what are you doing here ?
Mark : i was helping out a friend on something.
Mark (*introduces JB to Addy) : this is Addy. I met her a couple days back.
JB (*says to Addy) : its nice to meet you, im JB.
Addy (*smiles & says) : Hi, im Addy. its nice to meet you too.
Mark (*to JB) : what are you doing here ?
JB : i was shopping at the mall.
JB : i'll leave you two at whatever your doing. im leaving now.
Mark : alright.
JB walked away after saying that to Mark. Addy and Mark stood there looking at each other and smiling at the situation earlier. It was already [5PM] and the both of them headed out to the ferris wheel to ride and talk. They took a lot of pictures together and got to know each other more.
Mark : is your job like that everyday ?
Addy : like what ?
Mark : like earlier.
Addy : no. i normally work in an office and have meetings all day.
Addy : thats basically the life of a CEO or founder of a company.
Mark : Ah, i see.
Addy : you said that you were going back to LA for Christmas ?
Mark : yeah, i am.
Addy : are you going to come back to Las Vegas after the holidays ?
Mark : maybe, why ? you want me to come back ?
Addy (*giggles & says) : maybe.
Mark : well, there is a 50-50% chance. it really depends if the guys want to or not.
Addy : if you ever come back, we should all get together and hang out.
Addy : that is if you want. i dont want to pressure you.
Mark : GOT7 and your girlfriends ?
Addy : yeah.
Mark : that sounds a good idea, maybe we'll do that next time.
Addy (*smiles)
Mark : do you do this offten ? like go on vacations ?
Addy : its been 6 years since me and the girls have been on a trip like this.
Addy : what about you ?
Mark : ever since i started to train at JYPE, ive never gotten a chance to explore countries.
Addy : but what about when you were doing promotions across the world with GOT7 ?
Mark : we have been here and there, everywhere.
Mark : but we havent taken the time to just go on a relaxed vacation.
Mark : this is definately the first in forever.
Addy : JYP let you go on this vacation ?
Mark : yeah.
Addy : thats so nice of him.
Mark : we appreciate him for doing this for us.
Mark : Hard work does pay off, you know.
Addy (*smiles & says) : Tammy says the same thing to me a while back.

Addy : once you accomplish something, you feel really proud of yourself.
Addy : it makes you want to move on and continue what you do best.

Mark (*changes the subject & asks) : are you planning on opening a store here ?
Addy : yes i am.
Mark : why Las Vegas ?
Addy : its a tourist city and everyone comes here from all across the world.
Addy : and maybe people would like to come here and shop at HBA.
Mark : you have been planning this for a while ?
Addy : yeah. ive looked into it a couple months back and i wanted to do this.
Addy : its for the customers who bought our brand. expanding it would be our first.
Mark : that seems clever.
Addy : i try to do my best in everything for this company.
Mark : well, you did a good job Addy.
Addy : thanks. its nice to hear someone say that for the first time.
Mark : besides your mom being passed away, there's no one else ?
Addy : no one.
Mark : why ?
Addy : my dad also died in that car accident.
Addy : my younger sister also died from lung disease a couple years back.
Addy : so theres no one else there for me to compliment me or anything.
Mark : im so sorry Addy. i didnt know.
Addy : its okay. i dont normally talk about these things to anyone but my girlfriends.
Addy : and they know why i don't talk about it.
[6PM] After riding the ferris wheel and talking, they ended their day standing in front of the ferris wheel place. They said their goodbyes before leaving.
Mark : i guess this is it.
Addy : i guess so. i hate to leave so suddenly.
Mark : it was nice knowing you and talking to someone like this in a long time.
Mark : i had an amazing time with you Addy.
Addy (*smiles & says) : me too Mark.
Mark : i'll make sure to be back after the holidays.
Addy : its okay if you cant.
Mark : i'll call you and let you know, okay ?
Addy : sounds like a plan.
Addy (*remembers & says) : i almost forgot.
Addy (*pulls out a gift box from her purse & gives it to Mark) : this is for you.
Mark (*accepts the gift & asks) : whats this ?
Addy : its a christmas present from me to you.
Mark : you didnt have to get me anything. i feel bad not getting you anything.
Addy : you found my ring and that was enough.
Mark : thank you Addy.
Mark came closer to Addy and gave her a hug. She was surprised by his sudden action but she gave him back one too. Afterwards, they let go and Addy says....
Addy : Thank you for everything.
Mark : i should be the one saying that. (*smiles)
Addy : i should get going. i have dinner reservations with the girls.
Mark : right.
Addy : have a safe trip back Mark.
Mark : thanks. (*smiles)
Both of them took a step back and turned in different directions to leave.
Addy's POV ; I cant believe i said goodbye to him. That was it. Maybe im not able to see him again after this. He is such a great guy to hang out with. I think ive might fallen in love with him now. I hope that he likes the present i picked out for him.

Addy : i guess so. i hate to leave so suddenly.
Mark : it was nice knowing you and talking to someone like this in a long time.
Mark : i had an amazing time with you Addy.
Addy (*smiles & says) : me too Mark.
Mark : i'll make sure to be back after the holidays.
Addy : its okay if you cant.
Mark : i'll call you and let you know, okay ?
Addy : sounds like a plan.
Addy (*remembers & says) : i almost forgot.
Addy (*pulls out a gift box from her purse & gives it to Mark) : this is for you.
Mark (*accepts the gift & asks) : whats this ?
Addy : its a christmas present from me to you.
Mark : you didnt have to get me anything. i feel bad not getting you anything.
Addy : you found my ring and that was enough.
Mark : thank you Addy.
Mark came closer to Addy and gave her a hug. She was surprised by his sudden action but she gave him back one too. Afterwards, they let go and Addy says....
Addy : Thank you for everything.
Mark : i should be the one saying that. (*smiles)
Addy : i should get going. i have dinner reservations with the girls.
Mark : right.
Addy : have a safe trip back Mark.
Mark : thanks. (*smiles)
Both of them took a step back and turned in different directions to leave.
Addy's POV ; I cant believe i said goodbye to him. That was it. Maybe im not able to see him again after this. He is such a great guy to hang out with. I think ive might fallen in love with him now. I hope that he likes the present i picked out for him.
