Paradise
Lifeless
I don't know how much it has been since the funeral, I'm still wearing the black dress I was wearing back then.
My memories were all blurred that I don’t remember much of what happened after that day. It was a miracle that I actually could walk and made it to the cemetery.
Since the day of accident I was more like a walking dead, spending the whole day in bed, not sure if I actually slept.
The doorbell would ring once or twice a day, my phone too, but I was too busy mourning to answer either of them.
It was too hard to handle, all that pain. I wished for my heart to explode, but instead, the pain kept growing and growing just by looking to the cold empty side of the bed.
The only thing I was able to do for days was to cry myself to sleep, silently, while holding my marriage photo against my chest.
Whenever I woke up I would find a glass of water and a bowl of hot soup on my bed's side.
I thought that I was home alone but it seemed that either my mother or my friend, Mina, found a way to barge in without a key.
They should know by now that I didn't have the appety to eat nor to drink.
But one morning I woke up to find a cup of coffee, two chocolate cupcakes, a plate of fresh fruits and a red rose... The same breakfast that he used to prepare for me whenever I woke up late ...
It was getting suspicious... I've never told anyone about this special breakfast.
I hardly dragged myself out of bed, I was intending to go downstairs and see who prepared it for me.
After only taking two steps, the room started spinning around and then It all went blank.
