Chapter Three

Choyin blinked as Sehun led her out of the hospital carefully, bodyguards surrounding them.
"Why is this necessary?" she murmured.
Sehun bit his lip. "The hospital isn't exactly going to be easy to get out of...there's fans everywhere," he explained, glancing down at her. "Are you uncomfortable?"
Choyin shook her head, catching sight of a large group of girls. "No. But are they going to scream?"
Sehun chuckled quietly. "Probably." His hat sat on his head backwards, and he fixed it. "I doubt it'll do anything, but it's worth a try, yeah?"
Choyin smiled, ducking her head down to hide the blush that worked onto her cheeks. Focusing on not hitting the heels of the men in front of her, or the boy next to her, with her crutches, she jumped when a hand settled between her shoulder blades.
"Sorry."
Choyin bit her lip and looked up at Sehun, who had retracted his hand immedietly. Something flashed in his eyes, only to disappear a second later. "It's okay," she murmured.
Sehun's gaze moved down, and he stared at the ground. I can't just touch her anymore, he thought bitterly, silently cursing the drunk driver.

Screams pulled him out of his thoughts, and he kept his head down, glancing at Choyin. "If you need to stop, just let me know," he murmured, just loud enough for her to hear.
Choyin nodded, taking a deep breath. "How far away is the car?"
Sehun glanced up. "It's close, but it may take a while to get there." Fans are everywhere.
Choyin glanced up at the boy next to her. "Are they usually this bad?"
"No. I don't know why there's so many." He frowned, catching her when she tripped. "Careful, Choyin," he murmured.
Choyin's breath caught in her throat, and she stared into his intense gaze. "Sorry," she whispered.
Sehun swallowed and let her go, glancing at her every now and again. "No worries." He tucked his hands into his pockets, glancing down shyly. "Just...be careful, okay?"
Choyin blushed, grateful that they finally reached the car. As he awkwardly helped her into it, keeping an eye on not only her expression, but where her foot would be, the screaming fans got louder.
"Don't listen to them," Sehun murmured.
Choyin's expression turned to uncertainty as her eyes ghosted over the groups of frantic fans. "Will they get hurt?" she murmured, biting her lip.
Sehun glanced back at them. "No. We've been through this before." A quiet sigh left his lips, and he looked up at her. "Are you comfortable?"
Choyin nodded, her hand falling onto his shoulder. "Yes. Can you...can you sit next to me?" she asked, shyness showing in her voice.
Sehun smiled, reaching up to push her hair onto her shoulder. "Of course."
Choyin's lips curved up into a smile, and she turned away from him, feeling her cheeks heat up.
A small chuckle left Sehun's lips, and he closed the door, turning to his fans.

"I warned them about your memory," Sehun mumbled.
Choyin nodded, shifting on her crutches as the boy in front of her opened the hotel room door, leading into the messy area. "Omo. You better get this cleaned up," she said, turning to Sehun with a pointed look.
A laugh rang out from somewhere in the room, followed by the squeaky sound of rusty springs. "She hasn't changed a bit, has she?"
The boy wasn't much shorter than Sehun, his hair dark brown. Choyin blushed, looking away. "It's so messy in here!" she whined.
The boy laughed, his smile fading slightly. "Hey, Choyin." He bent down to meet her gaze, giving her a funny expression. "I'm Baekhyun."
Choyin smiled at him, feeling Sehun step behind her. Gentle hands settled on her tense shoulders, massaging lightly. "Do your arms hurt?" he murmured.
Choyin nodded, shifting once more. "Yes."
One of his hands moved down to her waist lightly, and Baekhyun moved out of the way. She found a couch that was empty, and she plopped down on it, placing her foot on the low table in front of her. Exhaustion tugged at her mind, and she pushed her hair from her face. "Who's who?" she mumbled as Sehun sat down next to her.
Sehun tossed his arm over the back of the couch, leaning in to murmur, "Baekhyun....Chanyeol...Chen...D.O...Kai...Kris...Lay...Luhan...Suho...Tao...Xiumin." Each boy gave a small nod at his name, not quite meeting her eyes.
"Luhan?" The name slipped from her lips, and the boy looked up. "You...your name is really familiar."
Emotions seemed to conflict on his face, and Choyin glanced at Sehun.
He wouldn't look at her, his botton lip caught harshly between his bottom teeth. "Sehun-ah?" she murmured.
Sehun turned to look at her, some emotion she didn't understand in his eyes. "Hmm?"
Choyin hesitated, glancing towards the boys around her. "Where will I be staying?"
Sehun stood up. "One moment."

Palms dug into his eyes as Sehun fought for control of his emotions, listening to Choyin's laugh while she talked to the boys.
The creak from the door brought him around, and he glanced up. "You should be sitting down," he scolded.
Choyin bit her lip. "You've been in here for a while, Sehun. I was worried," she murmured, hobbling her way to him and plopping down next to him.
Sehun sighed. "I'm fine." His voice came out low, hardly audible, and Choyin rolled her eyes.
"Fine, my ass. I can see it, everytime you look at me," she murmured, pushing his shoulder gently.
Sehun huffed, falling back on the bed. "It's hard, Choyin." His voice broke, and he ran his hand over his face. "You don't remember anything, but I remember everything. I remember when your parents died. I remember when you broke your arm. I remember when you were pissed, because a picture of us hugging was posted all over the internet, notifying of my fans of our relationship. I remember when you told me you wanted to go to America for a week, and we did." He met her gaze, his eyes pained. "But you don't remember any of it."
Choyin looked down at her hands in her lap, her heart aching for the boy next to her. Why did she have to hurt him so bad? "I'm sorry." Her voice was quiet, and Sehun immedietly sat up.
"It's not your fault. I heard what witnesses said of the accident. It's not your fault," he murmured, pulling her into his arms.
Choyin turned her face into his neck, feeling his arm wrap around her securely. Although she dind't remember this boy, her body seemed to.
She relaxed into his grasp almost instantly, feeling content. Something about the way he acted around her made her trust him more. "Are you tired?" he finally murmured.
Choyin nodded, stiffling her yawn against his collarbone. "Very."
Sehun chuckled. "Which bed do you want?" he asked, nudging her gently.
Choyin hummed, looking up. "Which one do you prefer?" she asked back, a teasing note in her voice.
Sehun laughed. "We shared the one we're sitting on now." His voice was quiet, and Choyin nudged him gently.
"Hey. I'm not going anywhere."
Surprise took him by her words, and it showed in his dark eyes. "Choyin.."
She shook her head. "We were in a relationship. We'll get back to where we were. Just give it some time, Sehun."
Sehun pursed his lips. "Choyin, don't -"
"Sehun, stop it." Her voice was firm, and she layed down next to him. "We'll get back to where we were, okay? It's only a matter of time, Sehun."
Sehun rolled onto his stomach. "And if something between that time happens? Like you fall for someone else? Because it's still possible." He looked at her through sad eyes, and Choyin pursed her lips.
"Well, if I don't, then that just proves that I loved you." The words seemed foreign coming out of her lips - I loved you, but she ignored the feeling and stared at the ceiling.
Sehun sighed. "Do you need help getting changed into some pajamas?" he murmured, changing the topic.
Choyin blushed. "Yes. Have you already seen..?" she trailed off, embarassment coloring her cheeks a darker red than before.
Sehun smiled. She looked cute, especially when she was flustered. "More or less times than you'd probably care for me to say," he murmured.
Choyin laughed lightly, covering her eyes. "Screw it, then, if you've already seen me." She sat up, and, with Sehun's supporting arms around her, changed into light pink and blue pajamas.

Many awkward moments later, when Sehun basically had his face buried in her chest, Choyin was gasping for air on the bed, her face a gentle pink. "That was a workout."
Sehun laughed quietly, his own face pink for different reasons. If any of the boys had walked in on them halfway through, they would have seen her hugging his neck tightly, effectively shoving his face into her chest while he tugged her pants off and pulled her pajama pants on her.

Talk about awkward.

Choyin, on the other hand, hadn't seemed to be affected by that. She had paid more attention to spending the least amount of time naked possible.
Which, for Sehun, was both a problem as well as a blessing. His pants could prove the point.
"Sleep well, ba-Choyin." He cut himself off before he could embarass himself anymore, looking away from her.
Choyin pulled the covers over herself, humming quietly. "Thank you, Sehun."

Sehun blushed, looking down. "No worries." He stepped out of the room, avoiding his hyung's eyes as he sat down on the couch.
